When The Sky Fall

When The Sky Fall
Chapter 2's

Actually the appearance of the perfect man in front of him did not bother him too much. But it was the man's smile that astonished him, even if only for a moment. It is not the first time for Tari to meet a handsome man of ancient Greek gods like the man standing in front of her. Some of his friends and ex-girlfriends are also handsome. But the one that Dance could deduce from all her friends and ex was, asshole. Although not all men are characterized as typical as the man in front of him is a jerk, but at least everything he knows like that.

"Know, this is my second aunt, Renald." Aunt Dhea's voice broke the daydream of Dance.

"Ahh yes.. Dance." said Tari and then stretched out her hand. Renald welcomes the hand of Dance.

"Renald." said still with his sweet smile. After greeting Hendrawan and Salina, Renald sat down next to Aunt Dhea.

"Wahhh very handsome Renald, my goodness." said Salina excitedly, like getting a big jackpot. Even his eyes were shining. Dari frowned looking at Salina then shook her head.

"It looks like his father's genes were taken too much. Thankfully only. Come with me, waduh.. I don't know what it looks like." Aunt Dhea laughed.

"That can't be it. I am a beautiful mother too. It must be more handsome." Salina laughs.

"It's been great of you, Ren. Remember the om?" ask Hendrawan.

"Still, um." Renald said.

"They..have met?" muttered Dance in the Heart. Dance frowned.

"If Dance must have forgotten. You were a kid at the time." Aunt Dhea added.

"Yes, right." Hendrawan laughs.

"Come, let's eat. It's lunchtime." take Salina. Everyone started to stand up and head towards the dining room. The house has two floors. The first floor of his mother's father's room, along with the kitchen and dining room, the living room. While the second floor there are three rooms for Tari and her sisters. Although not great, they were very happy all along living there.

"I'm sorry, how it is." said Salina.

"It's okay. This is delicious." praise aunt Dhea. The truth is stepmother Dance ordered catering. The dance that knows it is silent. He doesn't talk much. She was reluctant to be the target of her stepmother's nagging.

They ate and told me how Renald lived. How Renald struggled to get to where he is today. Renald also looks a good fit with Hendrawan. They talk like old friends who haven't seen each other in a long time. While Dance, she only concentrated on her food. The hunger that gnawed him from last night made him not care what everyone at the table was talking about. He just kept putting food in his mouth. He didn't even look at anyone. He just stared at his food. I don't know why the food today was so good.

"Dance." call aunt Dhea. Dance stopped her meal and looked at Aunt Dhea.

"Yes, auntie?"

"We are taking a walk. Aunty hasn't been here in years. Aunt is kangen. Auntie, huh, Ri? You are his tourguide."

Dance nodded. "Yes, aunt."

Aunt dhea smiled.

After lunch, aunt Dhea, Tari and Renald went around the city. Salina actually wanted to come, but Hendrawan forbade. Nobody is looking after dad, anyway. The youngest had not yet returned to school. While sister Dance the biggest college in Yogyakarta. Breathing dance relieved to find Salina did not come along. It would not be easy if Salina came along. It felt like CCTV was following him.

It's been a week since Tari accompanied aunt Dhea and Renald. I don't know how many places I visited. Dance is also the only two way with Renald. His attitude? Romantic, sweet, soft. Far from the mind of Dance about the misfortune of a type of man like Renald. But it could be just a mask. That's what Dance keeps remembering.

"Maybe he's the same. I meani.. You know guys are like that, all the same. Feel handsome trus can dapetin girls anywhere, anyone. Rich people can solve anything with money. Everything can be bought." Dance put her drink on the table. Today is his free day. No dates, no walks. He was relieved to be able to talk to his best friend again, Saints.

"Maybe. Of all our good-looking friends, that's it." The saint nodded his head.

"Which I wonder, why would he be asked to marry me? She can choose other girls, more beautiful and more everything. There must be something."

"Maybe." Saints drink their juice.

"You really are that.. A gay?" the Dance Statement made Saints spit out back his drink. "Or maybe. impotent?"

"Good Dance.." Saints took a tissue and cleaned the table and her long skirt from the juice spill. Suci wore a long black headscarf, paired with a navy blue long-sleeved shirt and a black long skirt. While Dance, wearing her old jeans light blue and oversize short-sleeved sweatshirt light green. Dance honestly happy today she can wear jeans again. During a meeting with Renald and his mother, Salina tells him to wear a knee-length canyon dress. It's really uncomfortable. Maybe Dance is cheerful and good, especially in the people around her. Because that's whatever Salina did or wanted, Tari always worked on it. Not for him, but for his family.

"Are you okay, Ci?" tanya Tari who was surprised and amused, saw Suci spill his drink.

"Wet you. Because you and your impotent gays."

"Why me again?" Dance laughs. "I'll just guess and argue."

"Honestly, I am the same. You like her the same. Hayo..." The saint smiled mockingly.

"What is it like me? Ngaco you!" Dance shook her head.

"Partially you, usually also ogah ngegosipin guy model him. But from the last time you talk to him he's just him."

"I'm just confiding!" Dance folded her hands in front of her chest and pouted.

"It's not that he had confided from the beginning about the matchmaking does not make sense and your future husband. Sampe is still being discussed. Then, you nerima? You want to marry her?"

Dance shrugged her shoulders and leaned back on the chair. "Eitherway. I don't know why my heart refuses."

"But your passion is increasing, isn't it?"

The saint laughed giggling. He kept mocking Dance.

Dance leave time is running out soon. She wants to return to the city where she works but she is asked to stop working and get married soon. But he hasn't decided anything yet.

"No ma'am, Tari never said she would agree. Dance was just following my father's will to meet them!" word Dance. Dance had explained at length but Salina was still on her stance.

"You must agree. Whether you like it or not!" salina said no less firmly.

"But this is the life and the future of Dance!"

"living away? The future you say? Then you want to hands off? How does your father owe you? Father's treatment? Your sisters?!" salina half shouted. "Ohhh... So you want to just let go of your hand, like that. Real nice. Very devoted!"

"Dari never said that. Dance can taste it from-"

"That little girl?!" cut Salina. "You think all the fees you have to pay are enough?! You are smart! The scholar! You should think that it's not enough. Huh! I knew from the very beginning when I was squirming you for the first time. Not at all filial. Your parents worked so hard to finance you to school to become a scholar, this is your reward?! You can see your two sisters dropping out of school so?! While you're a scholar?! How selfish!" Salina threw away her face and folded her hands in front of her chest.

"Tari never said that, ma'am.." Dance shed her tears. He was eager to rebel, saying rudely to his stepmother who kept pushing, forcing. But for his father's sake, he just kept quiet and held back. She knew her father was listening to all this from inside the room.

"But, see! You're doing. Their dowry, their money, will be able to solve everything! You don't have to bother. After all, your future husband is a rich man. He is rich, his parents are rich. You will not live poor with him! What else are you thinking?! You can help your family and you'll live a life of treasure!"

"Mom's really going to sell me? If I marry her, it means mom and dad sold me." Dance's lips quivered as she said those words.

"Sell you say? Wow is amazing. We want you to help your family and be a filial son but you just make it like us, me and your father, so bad guys!" Salina stared in disbelief. He feels accused.

"But there are still many ways to become a filial child!"

"Right, but for now, this second, this way is the best. Mom doesn't want to know. Your wedding's been arranged. Another week. No party, just a hitchhiker, because of your father's circumstances. You're getting married, like it or not."

Salina went into the kitchen just leaving Tari in the living room. Dance crying. He wanted to escape, he wanted to insist on refusing. But if he left, if he refused, what about his father and younger siblings?

From inside his room his father shed tears. He couldn't do much to protect his only daughter.

Salina's speech was certainly not just a threat, because a week later, Tari was really married. They only invited the ruler and a few witnesses. Tari held a wedding ceremony at her home because her father could not travel. The day after Dari and Salina had a big fight, her father dropped. Even to the hospital. The doctor said his father should not be surprised by anything that stresses him. Because the disease can recur.

Dance sitting in front of the dresser. Her face is full of make up, made up by the bride's fairies. He's ready. Dari had held back her tears several times so as not to come out and damage her makeup. But it feels hard. The wedding in the title is only with a few families from Dance alone. Several younger brothers and sisters from the father and birth mother of Tari came. Renald's father and mother also came.

"So... Where's the honeymoon?" salina asked Renald the night after the wedding.

"Hm... Delay first, ma'am. I have business again. So we're going home to New York first" Renald said with a smile on his face. Renald looked at Tari who was sitting quietly next to him. "Is it okay to put it off first?" Renald asked Dance.

Dance nodded. "Hm... It's okay."

Until this moment, Renald was still being kind and considerate of him. She always invites Tari to talk first, she also always smiles sweetly at him. Dance thought more and more, maybe her guess was wrong. Maybe he's a rare breed.

The next day, after the wedding, Dari and Renald left. They have to go to New York, where Renald lives. Renald has to finish his job. After saying goodbye to the whole family, they immediately left. Renald, as always, put Dance first. Opening the door for her and not forgetting she kissed Tari's forehead as she cried for leaving her family. All the way to the airport alone, Renald kept holding his hand.

After traveling for hours in the plane, Tari was finally able to stand up and relax his legs. Actually Dance was excited because she was going abroad. He's never been out of the country before. But he made a passport. He plans to go to South Korea for a vacation. He collected all his pay for it. But it turns out that he had to get married and go to another country. But it doesn't matter, does it? For him it's important he goes abroad and he's not alone. She's with her legal husband. Legitimate religion and country. Dari thought she and Renald were going to have sex soon that night. But Renald says he won't touch Tari, because he says he understands that Tari is tired and sad. From it all, making her admiration and fondness for her husband growing.

The gawking dance doesn't believe what it sees. He had already gotten out of the car and was standing in front of an extraordinarily large and majestic mansion.

"He lives in a house this big? Alone?!"

Dance really stared in disbelief. He had only seen a house that big for the first time. Renald walked by. He just stared at Dari for a moment then went inside. A little running dance followed Renald. Inside he was already welcomed by one aged man and two women, one middle aged one who looked the same age as him. Dance on them all. They just respect. Renald looked at Tari.

"Listen to me carefully. Anne and Marissa will serve you whatever you want. So don't whine at me." Renald said coldly. Upon getting off the plane, Renald's attitude changed. It's like being someone else. Dance realized that but she kept on brushing it off. He thought, maybe because of jetlag or because of his busyness.

"Then.. Room.." said Tari quickly as she saw Renald was leaving.

"Ah... Your room's upstairs, second floor. My room's down here." Renald pointed to a closed room.

"Why is the room different? We've been-"

"You think we're gonna sleep together, one room?" Renald grunting. "Don't joke." Renald went to his room.

"But we-"

"Gee!!" Renald turned his body and looked at Dari. "You can do anything in this house. Eat, drink, sleep, get your friends to party, but one thing. Don't ever bother me, don't ever come near me. I'm your husband's right, but only on paper, not the truth." Renald said that with his cold gaze and flat voice. She then returned to her room leaving Dance who had frozen her place.
