Before dawn Sera had arrived home. But the woman did not meet Stefan, Hana, or Angel. Sera also asked the servants to keep his return a secret.

Actually Sera was deliberately away temporarily from the life of her son and Angel grandson. Sera believes in Hana that Hana can change Stefan to care and love Angel, her own daughter.
