Day Girlfriend

Edo nodded his head slowly. His head felt dizzy because since the incident with Reyhan, Luna increasingly gave his attention. And the last two weeks it's been getting worse. Previously Luna just came every day to bring provisions and force to accompany her lunch. But now the girl kept sticking to it for most of the day. When Edo is in college, Luna will wait in front of the class until she finishes. Indeed Luna no longer teased him like she used to, but seeing the girl continue to follow him really made Edo almost to the limit of his patience. And now even Luna forced her to help him to photocopy the material Mr. Bowo gave in his class.

“Aluna..!! Can you stop bothering me.??!!” Suck Edo out of patience.

The attention of the people around them suddenly shifted to Edo and Luna.

“I didn't mean to bother you, Ed. I just want to help you. That's it.” Luna said with a trembling voice in shock at Edo's snapping.

“But you've really bothered me, Al..!! You also have a lecture, right..?? Why don't you go to class but instead keep bothering me..??!!” Stomach Edo again.

For a moment Luna was silent with teary eyes. He felt embarrassed that Edo was snapping at him in front of the crowd and seemed to dislike his presence. But not long after that he returned a sweet smile as if Edo's snapping didn't hurt him at all.

“I'm sorry, Ed. But all this time it wasn't that you were lonely if there wasn't me.??” Sahut Luna while giggling.

“Why are you always so confident. Indeed all this time have I ever responded to you..?? You're the one who's stubborn and keeps bothering me.!!” Edo Exclamations.

“Do you really want me to stop bothering you.??” Asked Luna with her innocent face.

“Yaaa..!! I'm really fed up with all your silly behavior.!!” Edo Sahut.

Luna said nothing and just smiled at Edo.

“Alright, I'll stop bothering you. But with one condition.” Said Luna with a mischievous smile.

“What is it..?? Quickly say..!!” Edo asked impatiently.

“Weekend this, let's go on a date..!! Only 2 days, Saturday and Sunday. Let's go on a date for 2 days. After that I'll stop bothering you. How..??” Luna replied still with a ignorant grin. Edo seemed to think for a moment.

“One day. We will only be dating for 1 day.” Tawar Edo's.

“Why only 1 day..?? Weekend is 2 days.!!” Luna Protest.

“Next week end of semester exam and I don't want to waste time with you. One day or not at all.!!” Edo Strictly. Luna pouted facing the stubbornness of Edo.

“Good. This weekend we dated for 1 day.” Luna said give up. Edo smiled slanted as Luna complied.

“Then Saturday at 8 we meet here then go to the amusement park, have lunch, watch, and then dinner. How..??” Luna said excitedly.

“Yang is right. You mean all day I have to be stuck with you from morning till night.???” Edo did not accept.

“Because only courtship for a day, we should make the best use of time.” Said Luna while grinning.

“Awas..!! Don't fuck around.!!” Threaten Edo.

“Cuma 1 kind even spelled out kinds.” Luna was back in a frown. Inexplicably seeing Luna pouting just made Edo anxious.

“Whatever you say. But remember, if you're late we broke up right then and there.” Edo murmur.

“OK, boss..!! But if you're late, we're dating 2 days.” Sahut Luna with a sparkling face.

“Terseraaaahh.!!” Edo's murmur was upset.

On Saturday, early in the morning Edo had left for his campus. Edo does not want to be late because if it happens it means he has to stay with Luna for 2 days.

At 7.30 Edo has arrived at the engineering faculty building complex. The atmosphere of the campus is not too crowded because there are only weekend students who study. When he arrived at the promised place, Luna was already sitting sweetly waiting for him. Edo paused for a moment and took a deep breath. Luna from a distance. The girl looks cute wearing long jeans with a rather loose t-shirt and a baby pink cardigan that looks a bit oversized. Luna's tiny body seemed to be drowning in it.

Edo walked over and scrunched his forehead at the sight of the pale-looking Luna. She did feel lately Luna looked increasingly thin and pale. But he never paid any heed to her for continuing to feel annoyed at the girl. And today, when she had to play Luna's boyfriend, Edo noticed that.

“You came early once.” Ask Edo.

“I don't want to be immediately cut off in the morning girlfriend.” Luna said with a smile.

“But you look pale, Al. Are you sick.??” Edo asked with a probing look.

“No. I just couldn't sleep because I couldn't wait for this day. Why..?? You're worried about your beautiful girlfriend.???” Sahut Luna while winking her left eye made Edo snort annoyed.

“We leave now.” Edo's murmur while walking ahead of Luna. Edo's steps came to a halt when he realized Luna wasn't following him.

“What else..?!!” Ask Edo.

“Garden.” Luna replied as she extended her right hand.

Edo let out a rough breath and walked over to Luna and grabbed the girl's hand. He pulled Luna's hand to make the girl follow in his footsteps. Luna's smile continued to expand because she was happy. The girl continued to tightly grip Edo's hand as if afraid of being released and Edo would disappear right then and there.

Arrive at the amusement park Edo and Luna go around trying every ride. Luna agilely moved around and did not forget to take many photos with Edo. Edo could only shake his head at the enthusiastic Luna. Although initially upset, Edo slowly begins to enjoy his time with Luna. After 4 hours of touring the amusement park Luna began to look exhausted, her body was sweating and her breathing began to sting.

“We've played it. You seem to be tired.” Edo looked worried. Luna smiled seeing the worry on Edo's face.

“Waaaah. To the point of worrying see I'm tired.” Sahut Luna while giggling happily.

“Who is worried about you..??!! I just don't want to have to bother taking care of you if you pass out.” Said Edo sewot.

“But I still want to play.” Sahut Luna spoiled.

“You are already exhausted like that and still desperate to play.???” Edo asked in disbelief.

“Hapisaaaa.. We'll only date for a day.” Said Luna while lowering her face.

Edo took a deep breath. He then crouched his back to Luna.

“What are you doing, Ed..??” Ask Luna confused.

“Totally.??” Luna asked ascertained without taking her eyes off Edo's back.

“Ya already if you don't want.” Edo said, standing up. Luna alighted on Edo's back before the young man got up from his squat.

“Of course I want.” Whisper Luna by developing her smile. Edo was stunned, suddenly a strange feeling perched in his heart.

Edo and Luna continued to tour the playground regardless of the gazes of the people who were watching them. Edo continued to hold Luna's tiny body and only lowered the girl while going on rides to play, lunch, and worship.

“Edo, let's take bianglala.” Said Luna while pointing towards such a tall reanglala.

“No. We just sit there and wait. Must be very boring.” Reject Edo.

“Trust me you will definitely like it. It is boring, but if you look around you will definitely find many amazing things. Especially when you get to the top, there are many beautiful scenery that you can see, Ed.” Sahut Luna was full of spirit.

“Tetap it sounds boring.” Answer Edo.

“Ayolaaaaah.maybe only today we can ride the reanglala together.” Persuade Luna.

“You mean.??” Ask Edo.

“Didn't we break up after this.??” Luna said.

Edo was silent for a moment. He felt annoyed that again Luna reminded him of their agreement.

“Good.” Edo Sahut.

Eventually Edo and Luna boarded the reanglala after a while of waiting. The queue is not as much as other rides, because it does not seem so many people like the rides. Although the space of the reanglala was quite spacious, Edo and Luna were sitting side by side. Edo saw the view outside. Luna was right, the scenery there looked amazing especially when it was late afternoon. The orange sky looks so close and more beautiful. The view of the city crammed with skyscrapers makes it look like a pillar of sky support. Edo smiled at the sight that made his heart feel calm. He looked towards Luna. She saw the girl looking at her face. A warm smile never disappeared from Luna's pretty face that looked pale.

“Edo, may I ask for one more thing.??” Ask Luna.

“What is it.??” Ask Edo curiously.

“After this I can no longer bring you lunch. Promise me you will always eat. I know engineering kids are always preoccupied with strenuous tasks. But please eat. Do not get sick because you are always late to eat. You have a good life, but life goes on. Whatever happens, please never give up. All this time I have carried your name in my prayers. Expect the best for you. After this I will carry your name in every prayer. Because that's all I can do.” Luna.

Edo stunned. Edo's heart was pounding, his feelings becoming uneasy as he recalled that after today Luna would stop bothering him. Suddenly Edo did not want this day to end. He wants to stay with Luna.

“It is done, mas.. mbak.” said the bianglala officer when opening the door and disperse the reverie of Edo.

“Thank you, mas.” Sahut Edo then came out of the small room and helped Luna down.

After riding the reanglala, Edo and Luna decided to continue their show by going to the mall to watch and then have dinner. At dinner they ordered the same steak. After their order came, Luna immediately cut the steak and exchanged it for Edo's. While Edo looks busy with his HP. The young man was checking the incoming messages that he had been ignoring all day. Edo was surprised to see his order steak had been neatly cut up by Luna.

“Eat.” Luna said with a warm smile.

“Thank you.” Edo Sahut.

Edo enjoyed his dinner. This was not the first time he had eaten at the restaurant and had eaten the same steak several times. But tonight his order steak tasted much more delicious than usual. Luna smiled again because she was happy to see Edo so eager to eat.

“Where is your home..?? I'll take you home.” Edo said as they walked out of the restaurant.

“No need. I'll go home in taxi.” Reject Luna.

“Why should you ride a taxiy..?? I can drive you.” Edo asked half-accepted.

“I'm afraid later you'll be heavy let go of me.” Answer Luna.

“Ciiih... GR...!” Edo said with a small laugh.

“Edo, let's break up. Thank you for being my girlfriend today. Although only a day, but worth my wait for the last year.” Luna said as she stared fixedly at Edo's face.

Edo was silent, some of his heart was not willing to let their short relationship end. Suddenly Luna wrapped her arms around Edo's body and hugged him tightly. Edo felt the embrace of Luna for the first time. Without him noticing, Edo returned Luna's embrace. The girl sobbed in his arms.

“Edo I love you. After this, I won't see you again. Although I know this is impossible, but please do not look for me.” Said Luna after releasing their embrace.

“Aluna, i.” Edo did not continue his words because he himself was unsure of what he wanted to say.

“I'm gone. Take good care of yourself, Edo.” Said Luna then kissed slowly Edo's lips and walked leaving Edo who was still in his place.

By the time Edo woke up, Luna had already moved away. He was so eager to chase after Luna. But his ego made him hold back. Edo, who wanted Luna to stop bothering him, would sound ridiculous if he chased after Luna and asked her to stay. Edo rubbed his lips and smiled. Even in their last moment together, the girl dared to steal her first kiss.

Luna walked over and was still sobbing. Unknowingly he had walked far enough to the bus stop.

As Luna grew sobbing, she recalled Edo. The young man who for the past year has continued to fill his heart and mind. Luna admitted she was too aggressive to approach Edo. But from the beginning he never expected Edo to reciprocate his feelings. He knew himself well enough, a lot of girls were also after Edo. Luna knew Edo often missed lunch because he was too busy with his lectures and assignments. Therefore he was always reckless to bring provisions for Edo and forced to accompany to make sure the young man did not miss his lunch. Luna continued to approach Edo just wanting to show her feelings, to pour out her affection, making sure Edo was always good, without expecting anything.

"Edo, I love you. I'm sorry for continuing to upset and annoy you. I hope after this you'll be happy." Luna in her heart.
