Edo Decree

A few days after Peter's arrival, life in Shaka and Kira's family home goes on as usual. Edo also seems more excited and gets closer to Kira as well as Shaka. After experiencing anxiety, Edo had finally made up his mind. He hopes his decision will be fair to those he cares about.

“Mom.. Dad... after this can Edo talk for a while.??” Ask Edo at dinner. For a moment Kira and Shaka looked at each other.

“Of course, Ed. Now finish your dinner.” Sahut Kira after seeing Shaka nodded slowly.

“Thank you, mom.” Said Edo.

“What do you want to say sich..?? So mysterious..??” Tanya Rania was curious.

“Little kids don't want to be in adult affairs.” Adit Sahut.

“Who is also the kepo..?? I just want to know.” Rania's grieving.

“What's the difference..?? Same with. kepo.” Adit again.

“Have stopped. Quickly spend your dinner..!!” The queen mother's decree that her children could never dispute.

“Satria.. Nara.. spend your vegetables..!!” Kira orders when she realizes her two children are trying to get rid of vegetables they do not like.

Satria and Nara continued eating them with sullen faces while continuing to stir their food. Edo smiled looking at his two little sisters who were sulking. The faces of the two children seemed to sparkle as Radit quickly picked up the carrots and broccoli they had removed on the edge of the plate as Kira let her guard down.

“Mom, I want to add vegetables.” Edo's words distract Kira as she turns to Satria and Nara.

“Give me your plate.” Kira said.

Edo thrust out his plate and glanced at Satria and Nara who giggled at being happy to be free from the vegetables they hated.

After dinner Shaka, Kira, and Edo sit in Shaka's study. Kira looked uneasy even though she was trying to stay calm. He knew Edo would definitely talk about his decision regarding Peter's request. Shaka, who was sitting next to Kira, kept tightly grasping his wife's hand to calm and strengthen the woman.

“It about opa request, mom.” Edo opened the conversation.

“Have you considered it well.??” Ask Shaka.

“Already, dad.” Answer Edo.

“So what's your decision.??” Ask Kira worriedly.

“If mommy and daddy allow, Edo wants to stay here.” Said Edo. Kira's face immediately sparkled upon hearing Edo's decision.

“What do you mean, son..?? Of course mommy and daddy allow.” Kira said happy.

“You are sure of your decision.??” Ask Shaka again.

“Yakin, dad. Butiii.” Edo looked doubtful.

“But what..?” Tanya Kira was impatient.

“But Edo also can't just ignore opa requests, mom. Edo realized that opa could not work as hard as before. Therefore, every long holiday Edo will stay in Germany and help opa, especially during the semester break.” Continue Edo.

“What do mommy and daddy mind.??” Ask Edo.

The young man looked at Kira and Shaka alternately as if expecting permission from them. Kira stood up and approached Edo and sat down beside the young man. He held her hand tightly and stared fixedly at the face of his favorite child.

“Of course not, baby. Mommy is so happy that you decided to stay with us. And mommy doesn't want to be selfish by forbidding you to help opa.” Kira said.

“Thank you, mom.” Said Edo.

Shaka seemed to breathe a sigh of relief upon hearing Edo's decision. Because just like Kira, she was also afraid of losing Edo. Although their age difference is only 12 years, Shaka loves Edo as much as his own son. Shaka is relieved because it means his family will remain intact and not separated anymore.

“Then papa will soon talk about this with your opa. Papa doesn't want to hang it too long.” Shaka.

“Do not, pa. Let Edo himself deliver it to opa. All of you Edo would like to apologize for not being able to fully help opa.” Said Edo.

“Good. Then you should contact your opa immediately. Kasian him if you wait a long time.” Shaka Sahut.

“Sure, pa. Tomorrow Edo will contact opa.” soon Said Edo.

Shaka smiled at Edo's reply. As he had expected, Edo was already able to make a good decision. Before long Shaka's forehead seemed wrinkled. He fell silent and tilted his head as if he was sharpening his hearing.

Kira and Edo are increasingly astonished to see Shaka's behavior. Before long Shaka seemed to let out a long sigh while shaking his head. He then stood up and opened the door of the study quickly. Kira and Edo's eyes widened as they saw Edo's five sisters falling and overlapping in the open doorway.

“You guys eavesdropped on our conversation.??” Shaka asked as he looked at his five children.

Dit-dit stood up while grinning and scratching their heads, Satria hugged Shaka's legs as if she was persuading her father not to get angry, while Rania and Nara ran over to Edo and hugged him.

“Sister Edo really won't go, right.??” Ask Rania expectantly.

“So you guys know.??” Ask Edo.

“Dit-dit.!!” Call Kira while looking at her two children.

“That time we were not intentionally horrified, ma.” Answer Adit quickly.

“I only if at that time you deliberately eavesdrop.” Shaka. Dit-dit back grinning to hear the words of Shaka.

“Formally curious, pa. Which one is taught to chat only brother Edo.” Reply Radit.

“Why do you guys just go straight.??” Ask Kira.

Edo chuckled at Nara's reply. He shook his head slowly looking at the behavior of his five younger siblings. Edo felt increasingly confident that he had made the right decision. Because Edo also felt hard to separate from the family that he loved so much.
