(Family) Bound

Adam walked with Yudhi in the lobby of the Hutama Corp building owned by the Arian Hutama family. His large tall sturdy body stood out among the people in the lobby. Adam walked quietly, looking dignified even though his face looked so cold.

Yudhi who was walking beside Adam only kept silent while occasionally glancing at his elder brother. He knew Adam was angry because of the actions of Arian who dared to kidnap Satria and cause Kira's condition to come down again.

"We want to meet Arian Hutama." Yudhi said to the receptionist.

"Has there been an appointment before..??" Asked the girl while looking at Yudhi without blinking. At the age of 41 years, Yudhi actually looks more handsome and attractive.

"Say Adam and Yudhi Hardisiswo from Phoenix Group would like to meet." Yudhi replied firmly.

Hearing the name Hardisiswo and Phoenix group made the girl shocked and nervous. He rushes to the phone to announce the arrival of Adam and Yudhi. After hanging up the phone the girl seemed to signal one of the security officers to come.

"Sir Arian waited for Adam and Mr. Yudhi in his room. Security will take you both. Please." The girl said politely.

"Thank you." Yudhi said briefly after turning his head for a moment towards security.

Adam and Yudhi walk in security who leads them to Arian's room. Adam smiled cynically when he saw the row of numbers listed on the CEO's special elevator panel. The building consists of 14 floors. It is much smaller when compared to the central building of the Phoenix Group which reaches 50 floors.

Phoenix group has many subsidiaries and each has many branches both at home and abroad. Almost all of the subsidiaries were concentrated in the building until Adam and Yudhi could more easily keep an eye on him. Only Orchid Hospital and its 17 subsidiaries have their headquarters separated from the building. That is because their business center is outside the island of Java or abroad.

Adam and Yudhi walked into Arian's room after the security guard opened the door. Arian was seen sitting quietly in his seat of greatness.

"Adam.. Yudhi. We finally meet again." Arian said as he walked towards the sofa and signaled Adam and Yudhi to sit down.

"Just go to the point. I don't have time to mince words." Adam said coldly.

"Still the same as before. Not for patience." Arian Cibir.

"And you're still just as stupid as you used to be. Not good at picking opponents." Reply Adam cynical. Arian tightened his jaw when he heard Adam's reply.

"Did you remember when I used to hit you in high school and ask you to stop bothering Kira..?? But your stupid brain didn't take my message well until I finally destroyed this company." Adam said coldly with glittering eyes of anger.

"I was just a 24-year-old who was learning to replace my father as CEO. But I can destroy your family easily even without my father's intervention. I remember when your father came and begged me to let go of your family." Adam's Lips.

"So you threatened me again..??" Asked Arian coldly.

"I'm just warning you." Answer Adam.

"Listen. All this time I kept quiet because Shaka didn't allow me to interfere. And during that time you have plenty of opportunities to quit. But apparently with the age of your brain just getting thicker." Adam continues. The eyes of the eagle did not escape the slightest from Arian. Making his opponent's guts secretly shrivel.

"You must know that I'm no longer the snot boy you beat 26 years ago." Arian hid his fear.

"If what you mean is illegal business and your pet thugs, you think I can't handle all that..??" Ask Adam with a scary grin.

"Remember. Even Lucas, your boss' cousin, has lost twice to me. In the end, he died and his family fell apart. Why do you think I can't do it to you..?? I'm perfectly capable of destroying everyone who has the blood of the Miller and Hutama families. Make them live on the streets and the women live as pe**cur. And this time, I will not be merciful by forgiving any of you. Including your eldest sister Vanessa and her daughter who is pregnant with your child. It doesn't matter if the Janssen family will protect them. For me destroying the Herlambang family and Janssen would be a bonus. Even though I wouldn't like to do it." Adam continued with a threatening look.

"Ba..!! Don't you dare touch Kate..!!" Arian cried as he grabbed Adam's body and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

Yudhi, who was sitting next to Adam, swiftly pulled Arian's hand and locked his hand and pressed the man's head against the table until it did not wiggle.

"Bre..!! Let go of me..!!" Arian shouted while trying to escape.

"Give me a reason to let you go. You're just a bre**sek guy who's been teasing my brother ever since we were in high school. And you should be grateful, Arian. Because I dropped you. If it was Adam's brother who did it, you'd lose your hand right now." Hisses Yudhi.

"Well, what..!!" Shouted Arian annoyed and endured the pain. His eyes seemed to be glistening with anger as well as fear.

Adam just laughed softly with a horrible face. He gripped Arian's head and pulled him up to look up and face to face with him. Yudhi continued to hold Arian's body in case his brother went berserk. He knew very well how Adam was already really wrathful. Anyone would not be able to escape his grasp and would definitely have bad luck.

"Now the choice is in Arian's hands. Stop harassing my family or see the destruction of the entire Miller and Hutama families..??" Adam asked, looking intently at Arian.

"Even if you rely on your connections and people who are abroad. With just one phone call to Ivanov's family, tomorrow you'll hear the news that everyone you know is missing." Adam is full of threats. Arian's eyes widened to hear Adam mention Ivanov's surname.

"What is your relationship with the Ivanov family..??" Asked Arian with a choked voice.

"They're my mother's family." Adam answered with a wry smile.

Arian's face turned pale upon hearing Adam's threat. He did not expect Edna to be the son of the Ivanov family who became a legend in Russia.

Not much is known about Edna's background as she and her siblings were born and grew up in the country. In general, people only know that Edna's father was an expatriate who worked for one of the companies in Indonesia and then fell in love with his mother who was indigenous, married, and had several children. Edna's grandfather hid his son in Indonesia because at that time many threats came to the children of the Ivanov family in Russia.

The reason for Darius and Edna's relationship was opposed by two families was because the Ivanov family had been one of the leaders of the big mafia in Russia. The Hardisiswo family could not turn a blind eye to the Ivanov family's past, although Edna's grandfather had already completely stopped after having children. While the Edna family did not approve of his relationship with Darius because they felt humiliated after seeing the rejection of the Hardisiswo family.

"Punish me. Please let go of my family. They are good people who know absolutely nothing. I beg you." Pinta Arian with a face of despair.

"You're going to let go of Kira and her family..??" Adam asked with a cold gaze that seemed to be able to take Arian's life at that moment.

"I'll let them go and won't bother them anymore." Arian answered with a trembling voice.

"good. And don't involve them in your dealings with Herlambang's family. I am disgusted by you for ruining your own flesh and blood. But that's your personal business with them. I won't interfere. After this, Shaka's company will continue to work with them. And that's also their business. If you disturb him. You will come back to face me. Understood..??" Adam's whisper was right in front of Arian's face in pain.

"I understand. Now please let me go." Pinta Arian with a trembling voice.

Yudhi looked at his brother. Slowly she releases Arian after receiving a sign from Adam.

"Now tell me, what kind of medicine did Lucas give when Kira was in an accident because of you..??" Ask Adam. His eyes were still fixed on Arian with a full of threat.

"I don't know. We were trying to make a new drug. High quality drugs with cheaper price. But our concocters failed. When experimenting, everyone who uses it gets sick. At first they said that drugs were very good. They can even sleep well. But then they started getting sick. Indeed, no one experienced symptoms of overdose, but after that their bodies weakened. It turned out that despite the effect they expected, the drug had also damaged their blood cells. Those people even experience symptoms like Leukemia because of continuing to use the drug. But still, the overwhelming effect of the medicine made them ignore everything. They'd rather die slowly as long as they can use the drug." Answer Arian.

"Bre..!! Even without the medicine to**rat it they will still die slowly." Hisses Yudhi.

"certain. But not so fast. We finally destroyed everything. Because it is useless if all our buyers will die after using it. We're going bankrupt because no one's buying our stuff." Sahut Arian cynical.

"So you mean you don't know what's in that cursed thing..??" Furious Adam.

"I don't know. Know it will be useless because it will not reduce the effect. But as I recall Kira only got it for 2 days, even in very small doses because Lucas did not want to arouse suspicion. Therefore the effect of the medicine appeared slowly." Arian.

"Pray for my brother to be safe. Because if you don't, I'll make you pay for everything." Adam said coldly as he gripped the collar of Arian's shirt and then threw it back.

"One more. Who's the one who's been sending threats to Shaka's family..??" Ask Adam.

"It's not me." Answer Arian quickly. Adam just kept quiet and kept staring fixedly at Arian with a cold look.

"I think it was all Shaka's secretary. He and his mother have a grudge against Shaka. That's why he's trying to get a job at Shaka's company as well as his mother." Arian.

"Rossi..??" Ask Yudhi.

"Yes. Before meeting Kira, Shaka was the one whose life was a mess. Almost every day he and his two friends beat people up for no apparent reason. One day due to drunkenness Shaka and his two friends get out of control. He beat up Rosi's sister and ended up in a coma for several years and finally died 5 years ago. His mother also works for Shaka and his family." Arian said it explained.

"Who is Rosi's mother..??" Ask Yudhi again.

"Suster Hani's. The nurse who's been taking care of Kira." Answer Arian. Adam's face looked stiff.

"Can I trust you..??" Adam asked coldly.

"Listen. After meeting with Kira at the reunion event I also investigated Shaka's confidants, including Fahri and Rosi as they were replacing Shaka in cooperation with Scarlett. All because Kate and I were looking for a gap to separate Shaka and Kira. That's when I discovered the gaffe in the information about Rosi because it turned out that she had changed her entire identity. I purposely didn't tell Kate but kept an eye on Rosi from afar. That's when I found out about their past. Believe it..!! I'm not lying..!!" Answer Arian.

"This time I let you go and will confirm the information you provided. If it turns out that you're lying, I'll finish you off until you're left alone." Said Adam.

"You can make sure of it yourself. I'm not lying." Arian Sahut.

"Look at it later." Adam said as he patted Arian's cheek.

"Sister, we have to go now. There's a meeting we have to attend." Tegur Yudhi's.

Adam was silent and looked back at Arian for a moment, then without saying anything walked towards the exit by following Yudhi.
