Abhimanyu : Pelakor Rentals
51. The Heart of Rara

Day thirty-one.

Finally Rara could stop marking the date and could go to her Papa-in-law to ask about Abhimanyu.

"Where, Pa?" ask Rara a little impatiently. "Abimanyu can go home, right? My husband's okay, right?"

We hope there is good news too. The woman squeezes Rara's shoulder by her side, staring at Adji full of hope.

Their gazes made Adji feel heavy.

"Of the fifteen Alliance executives, three died."

Juwita and Rara held their breath.

"Samuel, Salim, Rohan."

Rara and Juwita's expressions were slightly better, though they were sad.

"There were many injuries including Abhimanyu but overall Abhimanyu was fine."

Rara was finally able to exhale a sigh of relief. Mercifully.

"That's ...."

Juwita immediately realized there was less bad news. Adji couldn't possibly hesitate to say something nice so obviously it wasn't a good thing.

"Mass?" Juwita releases Rara, coming to touch Adji's chest. Her husband's inflated heartbeats have explained. "Well, what's the matter, Mom?"

"There was an accident that bothered his nerves."

Rara covered her mouth with her hands.

"She," Adji stared grimly at his daughter-in-law, "just sally with Sakura."

Rara staggered backwards. Her body was too limp until Rara could not control her body, falling on the floor.

"Rome!" Cetta immediately knelt down holding her sister-in-law, while Banyu was now staring at Adji.

"So you forgot your memory?"

Adji. "It was a short war, just last night but intense. Psychologically it must have tortured anyone, dying in plain sight. Plus gunshots, bombs, and whatever else there that only God knows. Abhimanyu did not forget his memory but his memory was again confused. Olivia said from the doctor's confirmation, slowly his memory will recover on its own. But ...."

"But what, Pa?"

"When we don't know."

Juwita looked at her daughter-in-law. "Rara—"

"I'm not pa-pa." Rara who had clearly fallen due to surprise is now trying to get up assisted by Cetta. "I'm not pa-pa, Auntie."

Of course it's a lie. But if Rara cries, will everything be okay? Moreover, Rara had already been told for what Abhimanyu went to do everything.

He is working with the state military to wipe out dangerous organizations. If he doesn't go there, let himself be hurt, this country will be full of drugs, children being trafficked, of course women, and terrible damage to think about.

"Abimanyu is fine." Rara smiled. "That's what matters now, right? I know he's not that weak."

He will recover quickly.

"Yes." Yeah." Juwita. "The more complicated our lives mean the more qualified we are. Abhimanyu is okay."

"Where do you keep now?" Cetta asked Adji.

"Abimanyu in the apartment of a woman whose name is Kisa."

Rara tried to swallow all her cravings and just nodded. "Can I go there, Pa?"

"Make it still dangerous now, Rara."

"Let me get." Banyu suddenly replied. "I'll be safe at least, right?"

*

"Just want to squirm," replied Banyu flatly.

"Wiggly?"

"Life is the person I think is the best but never knows." Banyu no longer hid his hatred. "Lo love him, Juwita love him, even Sakura was willing to go crazy for him. I'm curious to see people like that really pantes dapet compassion?"

Rara just looked forward after that. Thanks to the answer just now Rara understands why Banyu is still not married even though his sister is engaged. But now it was not something he needed to think about.

They descend in the underground parking lot, then go up to the room where Abhimanyu and Kisa are. To be honest Rara was afraid that Abhimanyu was now having fun with Kisa.

Rara's hands pressed the bell and the door opened.

Rara's gaze immediately intersected with Abhimanyu's sharp gaze. The moment they looked Rara had realized that she was indeed not the husband she knew. Abhimanyu who he knew had a soft eye highlight especially on Rara.

"Dude."

Abhimanyu's gaze turned to Banyu. "What's going on here?" ask him as if he is lazy. "Juwita tell you come get mad at me again? If yes mending lo back. I'm tired again."

Banyu who heard that also frowned. The last time he came to scold Abhimanyu for Juwita was before Abhimanyu got married. Or rather before Abhimanyu confessed his dirty feelings to Juwita. A time where he fucked many girls as a form of impingement.

"No." Banyu looked at Rara suddenly. "Juwita told me to bring you a new maid."

Rara jerks. But a moment later the woman understood the reason the maid of her beloved stepmom was definitely impossible to resist by Abhimanyu.

"Helper? Juwita?" Abhimanyu looked back at Rara.

Without anyone noticing Abhimanyu felt something familiar from this woman. It felt like he and Abhimanyu had known each other a long time ago. But Abhimanyu was not familiar with his face.

Or was she one of the girls Abhimanyu had slept with?

No. gabe. He doesn't look like that.

"Name?" ask Abhimanyu quietly. A little slower and smoother than Abhimanyu wanted.

"Ra—" Rara wanted to answer Ranaya because she wanted Abhimanyu to keep calling her that. But selfishness arises in Raea.

He must remember for himself.

"Rome." The woman smiled. "My name is Rara, sir."

Abhimanyu was stunned to find the way this woman smiled. The heartbeats that only Abhimanyu felt on Juwita why could he feel from this woman's smile?

"Rara," murmured Abhimanyu puzzled. But the headache made him unable to think much. He turned to Banyu to say, "Anterin he's into my house."

Then the door closed, leaving Rara and Banyu standing looking at her.

Banyu then turned to his sister-in-law. "Abimanyu when it was like belom had a house."

It meant that he did not lose his memory but there was chaos in his head.

Rara asks herself to be grateful that Abhimanyu still looks sane and fine. At least he was not traumatized like being afraid to meet someone or hallucinating hearing gunshots. His condition is now the best.

"You know what, Banyu?" Rara smiled on the back of her sister-in-law. "Meet your brother teach me that in our relationship we must be balanced."

"Huh?"

"In this era that he said without war, my husband turned out to be diem-diem into a narrow battlefield that if he died his name would also not be recorded in history. If he died, no one would know why he died. Even if he wins, no one will shout to say he's a hero. But Abhimanyu left for his duty."

Rara grinned wide. "His wife's time was even mushy just because of gini doang? Not balanced dong."

Is correct. If Abhimanyu fought, Rara would have to fight as well.

Otherwise Rara means not being able to match her.
