Abhimanyu : Pelakor Rentals
74. Not Happy with Him

Abhimanyu was finally unable to speak when he saw the face of his wife. The small body shook violently as he cried. It was as if all this time he had actually endured the damage that forced him to shatter but continued and kept him forced to stay afloat.

Even without her speaking again, her crying voice told Abhimanyu.

He was really scared to be alone. He is happy with the family he has now and the success he has achieved, but there are parts that are insatiable, unfulfilled, so empty and lonely because Abhimanyu chose to leave.

"Sorry." Only that can come out of Abhimanyu's mouth. The man sat down from a lying position, prompting Rara to sit down even though she was still crying. "I'm sorry," murmured Abhimanyu weakly.

"Don't apologize." Rara shakes. "home. Promise me you'll come home."

Abhimanyu pursed his lips.

For God's sake, he hopes to go home. Returning to the arms of his wife, the woman who managed to free Abhimanyu from the shackles of the darkness of his own heart. Abhimanyu missed him every night to the point that Abhimanyu could not count anymore how many times he had dreamed of Rara.

But ....

"If anyone makes Juwita cry deket swimming pool," said Abhimanyu lirih, "the man must be me."

"Bi, I told you I don't need you to protect my own feelings!"

"...." - ".Is correct. Maybe he's right.

As hard as Abhimanyu tried to leave, Rara faithfully waited for him and believed him. But ....

"Maybe I'm just shielding myself from my own feelings" murmured Abhimanyu. "I can give you money, as much as you want, but make you stop crying even I can't."

Rara clenched her hands. "What if I cry?! Just because I cry doesn't mean I'm tormented!"

Rara did not understand.

He did not see what Abhimanyu saw.

How Abhimanyu used to make Juwita cry, repeatedly and repeatedly. Abhimanyu once loved Juwita, more than anything in the world. But even with that Abhimanyu still made him cry, until he was tormented and repeatedly wanted to give up on their family.

For Abhimanyu, the cry of the one he loved was terrifying. It was as if they were shouting saying that Abhimanyu was the worst monster in the world that only destroyed their happiness.

"Ranaya, it's not just about you." Abhimanyu stared at the woman. "Our relationship isn't just about you."

This is also about Abhimanyu. And Abhimanyu could not calm down if he went back into Rara's arms.

"You're happy that I'm there for you? Fine, that's the truth. But I'm not happy."

Abhimanyu was just scared. Therefore even though Rara said she wanted Abhimanyu to come home, Abhimanyu had already decided.

He won't go back into Rara's or Juwita's arms.

Not into anyone's arms anymore.

"This malem, you can go." Abhimanyu did not want to continue the emotional conversation again, until he left, leaving Rara who was just down.

As the door of the room closed tightly, the woman's back shook violently. Rara had to put her forehead on the floor, closing her mouth tightly so that she would not scream loudly telling the whole world of her pain right now.

Half of his heart was already too chaotic and begged to give up, but the other half was still stubborn.

"It's okay." Rara whispered to herself, clasping her own hand. "It's okay, Rara, it's okay. You're gonna make it."

Although it is only a lie, sometimes a lie is indeed reinforcing even if it is only pretending.

"You can even die if you run," said Abhimanyu approaching him, about to seize the wine. "You can be this lazy and sit down to drink alcohol, Rose."

"How do I sleep when someone is screaming from down there" Rose said, avoiding Abhimanyu's hand. "Woman, is she your wife?"

"Hm."

"Why? Is he jealous of me? Hah, if that's true then he must be stupid." Rose snorted lightly. "Why do I even bother spending my time with you? The glance was also too obvious."

This is called too deceptive appearance. When Rose is seen at a glance, all the men in the world seem to be willing to prostrate at her feet for worship. But if they know his personality, they will run away.

Abhimanyu did not reply to his scathing talk, choosing to take a bottle of wine on the table for him to get rid of.

"You love him?" ask Rose suddenly.

"Huh?"

"Your eyes see him as special. Only the blind don't know."

".... Go to sleep." Abhimanyu doesn't like to talk about his feelings, especially his feelings for Rara. No one needs to understand because the most important thing for Abhimanyu is just how he protects the woman.

"I knew from the beginning you were a coward."

Abhimanyu.

"Hey, stupid, just because I can't walk properly you think you know more than I do? Our degrees are like heaven and earth. Understand meaning? You can only see the earth, I see you from the sky."

Abhimanyu turned around, staring intently at Rose. "Speak clearly, Goddamn it."

"I'm just giving advice to a coward like you." Rose shook the wine glass in her hand, smiling very casually and no matter how sharp Abhimanyu's gaze was now. "Taking go of something you so desperately want to hold onto is the most futile act in the world."

Abhimanyu knew that Rose did not really understand the situation and only spoke from his point of view about Abhimanyu's condition, but his words just now disturbed the pent-up emotions within Abhimanyu.

The man approached Rose, snatched the glass in his hand and a second later, the sound of broken glasses strewn across the night silence.

"Get your mouth, Rose." Abhimanyu firmly gripped the arm of the sofa the girl was sitting on. "I was asked to take care of you but if you talk too much, I can't guarantee it's not me who hurts you."

"...."

"Not to interfere in the affairs of others."

Rose simply stared at Abhimanyu flatly, without the slightest hint of intimidation. The girl got up from the chair, brushed Abhimanyu off from before her.

"I am the Princess, you commoner." Rose passed. "That's my right to interfere in anything I want."

Abhimanyu just clenched his hands tightly, trying hard to resist the vexation. Imagining herself having to look after the woman for months is fed up. But most sickeningly, whenever Rose said something, something that sounded simple and seemed insignificant, Abhimanyu actually felt slapped back and forth by the truth.

"Taking go of something you so desperately want to hold onto is the most futile act in the world."

So said.

Fucking liar. If that's the case, back when Abhimanyu wanted Juwita so badly, why would it be the truth to let him go? He meant that when Abhimanyu stopped chasing Juwita, he did nothing, did he? Abhimanyu should still be chasing Juwita, right?

Actually not, right? Abhimanyu had to stop loving Juwita because that was what he should have been. That's the best.

Rara is the same. He and Juwita were the same, therefore Abhimanyu could not hold it either.
