Rara cried for so long that it felt like the head was about to break. When Juwita and Nayla came to hug and caress her back, Rara's cry broke out of control.
Rara was patient. I swear to God, he was patient. But that does not mean Rara is not hurt if Abhimanyu finds a new woman after he decides to leave for the sake of Rara's happiness.
That's so unfair.
When Juwita and Nayla go to give Rara time to calm down, she pulls the sweater and quietly leaves the inn. Now that it was half an hour and a half night, the streets were no longer as crowded as the beginning of night and day. Rara takes her steps towards a place that Olivia tells her is Abhimanyu's place in the city.
Rara had to ask. Abhimanyu may go, may take his own time no matter how long it is but Rara wants to ask for this one thing only.
Has he forgotten everything between them?
"Excuse me." Rara pressed the giant fence bell. "I'd like to see Mr. Abhimanyu."
Someone in charge of maintaining night security from inside the post came out after seeing from CCTV. He looked surprised to find Rara on the fence.
"Mister Rara?"
Rara looks up. "Joint." It was Abhimanyu's men back when he was in the Alliance. "Rendi, where's Abhimanyu? Please tell him I'd like to see you for a minute."
Rendi hurriedly came to open the gate for his boss' wife.
"Why do malem-malem come, Ma'am? Rara's own way here?"
"I'm not pa-pa. I'd like to see Abhimanyu for a minute, please." Rara thought she would be stopped because Abhimanyu had been avoiding her all along, but it turned out that Rendi had thoughtlessly brought her into the mansion.
He leads Rara upstairs, stopping in front of a room. Rendi knocked on the door and said, "Boss, there's Rara's mom."
Rara squeezed the phone she was holding in front of her chest. There is a deep sense of worry that Abhimanyu does not want to meet him, reasoning whatever it is so they do not need to talk.
But when the door of the room opened and the figure of Abhimanyu came out quietly, other emotions actually controlled Rara.
Wh why? Why was Abhimanyu so calm when they had only met after four years? Could it be true that the outrageous beautiful woman was her new woman and now she no longer cared about Rara?
"Ranaya."
Rara barged into the room because she wanted to talk to only the two of them. As if he understood, Abhimanyu came in, shutting the door tightly.
Rara's gaze circulated around the room. It turned out that this was not a room but a workspace with various bookshelves and a number of computers.
"Ranaya—"
"You're cheating?" ask Rara, straight to the point. "You've found someone new in your life now, Bi, so I don't really matter?"
Abhimanyu was stunned. But it was only a moment before the man replied, "I've asked for a divorce."
Abhimanyu understood what Rara meant and it was all a misunderstanding. By God Abhimanyu never played women again, not even Olivia. Abirama's existence was enough to make Abhimanyu aware that even if he was careful, there were very many risks that he would bear if he had too much fun.
And Abhimanyu promised Juwita first.
He had promised not to ruin his marriage by infidelity.
But Abhimanyu didn't need to explain that because he wanted to let Rara go.
"No." Rara shakes. "You never asked for a divorce."
"You ripped up the divorce papers I signed—"
"THAT'S NOT A DIVORCE LETTER!" Rara's breathing rose and fell due to her overly turbulent emotions. "THAT'S NOT A DIVORCE LETTER, ABHIMANYU! THAT'S YOUR LETTER TO ME, IT'S JUST ABOUT YOU FEELING TOO JUNK TO ME!"
"...." - ".Abhimanyu looked down grimly. Although he was silent, his lips moved in reply, "Emang."
"...."
"I CAN!"
"Sakura should be a lesson to you." The woman died because of Abhimanyu so Rara should have understood that was the wound she could receive if she forced her way with him.
Abhimanyu did not want him to experience the same thing. Abhimanyu does not know when he can hurt and may not be aware of doing so.
"You can't be Sakura the reason for everything" Rara trembled. "I know he killed himself because of you but the fact is it's also because of me."
His words ignited the emotions within Abhimanyu until he subconsciously grabbed Rara's powerful arm, pushing her against the wall.
"DON'T CARELESSLY TALK!" abhimanyu bersengkak. "DON'T HAVE TO BE A GROWN-UP WITH PEOPLE'S LIVES!"
Abhimanyu is wrong, not Rara. Abhimanyu dragged her along so don't let her think she's responsible too.
It's too heavy. For God's sake, it's too much to be borne by this small and innocent woman.
"Abimanyu." Rara muttered before she did something that Abhimanyu did not expect.
His small fist punching Abhimanyu's stomach was extremely strong, to the point that Abhimanyu staggered.
But he did not have time to protest, Rara pushed him to fall to his back on the carpet. He sat on Abhimanyu's stomach, placed his palm on Abhimanyu's shoulder and shouted in frustration.
"I'M NOT A KID!"
Abhimanyu was just riveted.
"YOU THINK THE REASON I ENDURED YOU ALL THIS TIME IS BECAUSE I ACCEPTED YOUR BULLSHIT?! YOU THINK I ACCEPT THE SAME REASON 'YOU DON'T WANT TO SICKEN ME SO YOU STAY AWAY FROM ME'. I DON'T ACCEPT IT!"
"Ranaya—"
"I'M HOLDING ON FOR FOUR YEARS WAITING FOR YOU BECAUSE I KNOW, SOMEDAY YOU'LL REALIZE IT'S POINTLESS! THERE IS NO USE, ABHIMANYU! IT'S NO USE!"
Rara dropped her face on Abhimanyu's chest, sobbing.
"You can't protect me from my own feelings" said Rara. "You can go far, you can send divorce papers through Aunt Juwita, you can say we don't pantes together but I NEVER STOP LOVING YOU!"
No matter what Abhimanyu did, no matter how hard he tried to run away from Rara's embrace, it was all meaningless because Rara's feelings for her never changed.
Perhaps the more he loved her the more day. Even when Rara is angry and hates him, Rara still loves him. He still loves her and waits for her to come home.
"You said you left me because of baby." Rara closed her eyes, crying without holding back all the wounds she had sustained during this time. In between the cries, Rara whimpered, "But why don't you go home because of love too?"
Abhimanyu held his breath.
"I'm scared, Bi. I'm scared."
"Ranaya, I—"
"I don't want any more. My body is not capable."
"...."
"Go home, Abhimanyu!"
