Abhimanyu : Pelakor Rentals
84. The Terrible Night is Coming

Rose got up from the bed, dragging her feet on a soft carpet whose fur was as smooth as the clouds in the sky. His steps stopped on the luxurious golden-plated sofa, dropping himself to relax again like yesterday-yesterday.

"Where is olivia?" ask Rose at her servant.

"Maybe upstairs with Abirama, Miss."

"Call him."

Rose's orders were absolute. So no wonder Olivia immediately appeared even though her face looks lazy.

"Lo doesn't even call me here to complain?"

"Where is that idiot?" Rose kept asking. "He's been missing for three days and because of that I have to be locked up here. Who does he think I am? The prisoner? Rather than being called a room, this was more like a prison!"

Olivia grunts. What can I do, right? Abhimanyu is not at the base right now and if someone comes after Rose's life, the chances of her surviving are higher here.

The deepest basement.

"Dumb olivia, say something!"

"Ck, noisy. Abhimanyu will return home if it is time to go home. Lagian lo want on the cake want under the cake, your job is just to fall asleep if you do not sit down to drink tea ala princes!"

"Hey." Rose stared intently at Olivia. "My mood is too bad to forgive someone now so better take care of what you say."

Rose's words instantly made Olivia silent. In ordinary situations Rose is actually quite easy to talk to but if she is really upset, it is very difficult to handle it.

"Rose." Olivia leaned against the steel door of the room. "Abimanyu sacrificed everything for you. Because he takes care of you, he can no longer turn back to his wife. As if for Abhimanyu, be patient for a few days, you should be able to, right?"

"So it's true he went to give a child to his wife? You stupid man. He's carried away with exaggerated feelings." Rose.

"You know, mending lo rest. The doctor said your body hasn't fully recovered."

"My body has never fully recovered in a lifetime."

Olivia just walked away.

Rose smirked. "I hope Abhimanyu's son is a man."

Without answering, Olivia continued to walk away.

"If she was a woman .. she would only live with the curse. Tell that to the fool."

The sound of Olivia's footsteps grew further and Rose's smile disappeared. The girl leaned her back on the chair, with a gesture of hand she told the waiter to leave her alone.

In the cold dark basement, Rose looked up at the steel door that protected her from the outside world.

At the same time locked him in solitude and darkness that no one would imagine.

"The Stupid Abhimanyu." Rose muttered to herself. "He knew the dark place was for me but still going there created a new person who would have fared like me? Should have done evil to your wife, just do it to the end."

Abhimanyu's last good to Rara will surely end in great calamity. Rose could see it.

The sound of layers upon layers of open doors woke Rose from her sleep. As usual, darkness greeted those eyes since Abhimanyu left. But as the footsteps drew near, Rose recognized the scent until she spontaneously said, "Almost I'm firing you from this world, Useless Slave."

Abhimanyu appeared after nearly two weeks of disappearance.

"I'm afraid you're sick again."

"Who isn't sick being locked up in this fucking place?"

"Don't say that. You should temporarily be at home here."

Rose glared. If only his strength was enough, now he hit this man's head. "Why should I be here?! You put me here because of a one-sided decision to go straddle your wife. Two weeks of doing it hasn't been enough to get her pregnant?! Then he's madul or you're impotent!"

Abhimanyu just shut up.

"Hurry up and get me out. I feel like I'm going to die in this bed right now. It was I who went to heaven before Uncle Mahesa died."

"...."

"STOP QUIET!"

Abhimanyu sighed. "Rose."

Abhimanyu's tone of voice sounded suspicious. Rose squinted but for a moment her expression instantly hardened.

"Damn it," muttered the girl. "Uncle .. has it gone?"

Rose silently bit her lips. Two weeks he was upset about being cooped up in the dark, but only the first time he was grateful that his room was really very dark.

That way Abhimanyu should not see how Rose's face was flushed, holding back his tears.

"Nothing's okay, you idiot. Now my life is really threatened and I have to stay here like a rat."

Abhimanyu just squeezed the girl's tiny hand.

"Rose, there's one more."

"I don't want to know anymore. It's your job to clean up the mess from Uncle's death. My job just started after all that so go out there and do your job."

Abhimanyu was not the slightest bit angry no matter what Rose's attitude. Abhimanyu is the one who knows that Rose's attitude is formed from the harshness of her life bearing the burden of responsibility as Mahardika's heir.

Actually Abhimanyu did not want to burden him, but this news he had to convey.

"Mrs Maheswari, your mother ...."

Rose held her breath.

".... This morning ... in the same muti-lation of the Anti-Mahardic Forces."

Just a moment after, Rose coughed and her body temperature increased as her breathing became blocked.

Abhimanyu clenched his body, trying to calm the chaos in Rose's body that might have been ready but still could not resist the explosion after explosion in his head now.

All will not be well but Abhimanyu has promised Mahesa Mahardika to take care of this girl.

"Pa, I've been chugging down." Nayla reports after completing the task given although it seems still difficult to understand the situation.

He did not know why Adji suddenly closed the gate tightly, then many people were seen standing guard out there, and Adji, Banyu and Cetta looked very tense right after Abhimanyu left.

All the Juwita children were told to go down to the basement that Nayla just knew was under their residence.

"What's up, anyway? How do we hide in our own house?" ask Nayla to be confused.

Cetta did not reply, busy with the tablet in her hand. Then he said, "Pa, systems other than security have all shut down."

Banyu pocketed his phone after he called someone. "Juwita, Rara, Nayla, you three are also hunting down."

"But why—"

"Nayla, Rara." Juwita prevented her daughter-in-law from asking, gesturing for them to obey.

Juwita took a flashlight for lighting, as the residential lighting was completely shut down by Cetta. Behind him Rara and Nayla followed, trying to hold back their curiosity about the situation.

"Pak Mahardika died last night" Juwita explained between silences as they descended the stairs. "He was more than a former president. Many say he's a dictator, unilaterally taking a lot of power from people."

"But Mr Mahardika is not a good man, ma'am?" timpal Rara's.

"Indeed. Mr. Mahardika takes power from the wicked. Hence from since Mr. Mahardika came to power, things like corruption until things as small as street children were drastically reduced. He's the one who's handling everything."

Juwita.

"That's why once Mr. Mahardika died, people who feel loss with the policy of Mr. Mahardika immediately move. How many decades did Mr. Mahardika take power. How many people should be rich through the path of naughty made poor because they can not move. Their kayaks were scattered abroad."

Juwita grabbed each of them's hands, holding them to keep going.

"We who have a working relationship, Abi who is Papa's son, Rara who is Abhimanyu's wife, we all must be their target as well. Especially you, Rara."

Rara's stunned.

"The last four years have been madly trying to get them all back. The fact that you are Abhimanyu's wife is enough to make them want to torture you until you can't ask for forgiveness."

Rara's chest immediately rumbled.

So ... so that's why he insisted on leaving? One of them because of this?

"Mom, I'm scared." Nayla immediately shivered in fear, hugging Juwita's arm tightly.

"No pa-pa. There's Papa, Cetta, and Banyu takes care of us." Juwita tried to smile. "Lagian Abi there will also not let us why, right?"
