When Abhimanyu appears with Rara and Abirama, the surprise is not Juwita or Adji or Cetta. The only ones shocked were Nayla and the members of Rara's team. They are told that Rara is forced to go to her husband who happens to be in town.
This was the first time Rara's team had met their boss' husband. Despite knowing how Abhimanyu's face was, some of them were still fascinated with the firmness on the man's face. Nayla, Cetta's wife, turned to Adji and looked at Abhimanyu and then at Adji and Abhimanyu, just to make sure they had a semblance of calm.
Somehow Abhimanyu feels like Adji in the younger version.
"I think we will find him at home later," said Juwita, smiling sweetly at Abhimanyu. "The bigger you are, my God."
"Dragon!"
What followed was just a family welcome in general. Then Abhimanyu introduced himself to Rara's team, to reiterate once again that Rara was never abandoned by her husband for the sake of other women as rumors spread in the community.
But after all, something behind it could not be hidden. Especially when Abhimanyu let Abirama go with Juwita and now Abhimanyu just sit with Adji and Cetta.
"So, you're gonna take Rara?" ask Adji directly at the point.
Abhimanyu closed for a moment. "No. I have no intention of bringing her with me."
Abhimanyu's decision has not changed.
It is a lie that Abhimanyu does not feel a great longing. It is a lie that Abhimanyu is not tormented by the distance between them. In fact he misses Rara so much that Abhimanyu wants to quit everything and just lay himself in Rara's arms.
But the world is not that good.
"That's." Adji answered only briefly, nothing more.
As fellow men, especially with great responsibility in their hands, Adji already had nothing to say to his first child. Abhimanyu has gone through many things and has been able to make a decision.
To be right, to be wrong, he can already bear everything alone and it is not Adji's place to interfere anymore.
"That's the same Bang Banyu, who?" ask Cetta afterwards. "Sister's affair?"
"You think Brother what?" Abhimanyu.
"That's Mahardika's niece, right?" Adji chimed in. "So she's the same you mean ...."
Yeah, that girl's not okay. He was the son of Mahesa Mahardika's sister who was already on the verge of death. Although she was a weak woman who staggered everywhere, she was one of the people who would control this country in the future.
Although not entirely because of him, you could say he is one of the reasons why Abhimanyu can not be with Rara anymore.
"So Mahardika doesn't exist, it's not just chaos politics. Economic, military, and maybe cooperation relations between countries are at risk of breaking. It may not be called war anymore, but the apocalypse" Abhimanyu said. "I don't have time for Ranaya's mastiin to be all right."
Adji did not answer, nor did he deny. His son-in-law must have suffered greatly because of Abhimanyu's unilateral decision, but men are sometimes forced to do something for the future.
"Pa, sorry." Abhimanyu looked at Adji solemnly. "Can you take care of him, too?"
"Rara's not divorced yet?" ask Cetta.
"Yet. He still thinks he'll be home soon."
He always thought so but it might never happen.

Rara was more silent than usual. It was clear that there was something the woman was thinking about to the point that when her whole team had fun with the game, Rara was just a mojok accompanied by a glass of sweet squeezed jerseys.
Rara's gaze occasionally turned to another corner, where Rose was sitting fanned by the maid. Juwita and Adji sat nearby, from earlier treating her like a real princess until Rara was sure Rose's status was definitely not playing around in the country.
Another case with Banyu, he was busy photographing Rose and suddenly looked very stupid. He is not alone, other guys from Rara's team also follow even though Banyu repeatedly kicked them out, confidently claiming that Rose is only his. Then Nayla and Cetta along with the Juwita children were busy with Abirama.
Everyone seemed to be having fun, except for Rara.
"Burning you is cold" said Abhimanyu who appeared behind his couch. "Eat."
Rara looked. "Important?"
"Beauty or fat, would you know?" rara Gumam. "You want to go again."
"...."
"I'm not going to get divorced. You want it, I won't sign it. Just go there. Cheating on who else is handing you over."
"...."
"I'm sorry, I'm selfish." Rara's voice was getting smaller and sounding weaker and weaker. "If what makes you feel good is far from me, then there."
Abhimanyu let out a long breath. Sit beside Rara and take the drink glass in her hand, to put it on the table.
"In this world" Abhimanyu told him, "there is nothing that can draw my feelings onto you, Ranaya."
Rara's stunned.
"From the beginning, I always believed that there was no one in the world who could replace Juwita's position. I was too dear, too crazy as Juwita until her status as Papa's wife did not make me stop."
Abhimanyu.
"But in the world there is you. There's you, in a corner I never thought, the one who made me understand so many things that I've never heard from anyone."
Abhimanyu took a deep breath. Looking next to him, at Rara who seemed still blankly fixated on hearing the confession.
Abhimanyu's palm landed on his cheek, rubbing the woman's delicate skin, which never stopped making Abhimanyu feel comfortable.
"You don't have to understand. At least you do not need to understand how much I do everything for you. You are free to call me who. Damn it, damn it, useless husband, it's up to you."
"...."
"Mastiin you are safe from my life full of thorns is far more important than just the title of badjangan behind my name."
Abhimanyu smiled slightly.
"Because you're ..the only puzzle piece that fits me, right?"
Rara slowly looked flushed. Her pure white eyes suddenly looked red, creating a puddle and eventually falling forming a straight line on both of her cheeks.
The woman bit her lips, seemed to try hard not to sob even though she was crying in the end.
That cry was enough to tear away Abhimanyu's feelings. The man could only embrace Rara, letting her lean back for a bit, not least when Abhimanyu could still sit at the same pace as he was now.
"Ranaya" whispered Abhimanyu. "I'll leave you, as far as possible."
"...."
"But you have to know, no matter where I am, I will always, always, always love you."
".... I understand." Rara memejam's. Trying to hold back his voice that wanted to break with the cry, taking a deep breath so that his agitated heart could be calmer.
"I understand, Bi," said Rara again. "But, for the last time, I'd like to ask you something. Promise me you'll be nervous."
Abhimanyu was silent, but because Rara said she would understand it meant that her request should not violate her own words.
"OK, I promise," he said. "What do you want?"
