Because I'M Father

Because I'M Father
Alden's married

I didn't think it, I hadn't thought of it before. Today, my wedding day. It all felt sudden, unplanned.

I saw the reflection of the mirror, this handsome man looked so charming. It was like my first marriage. The taste is the same as it used to be.

I finally stepped on the lap. A beautiful woman was waiting for me there. A white dress dangled him wear, even his smile welcomed my arrival.

How happy I am today. Red carpet on the title just for me to step up. Flowers are decorating my wedding today. It feels so sacred.

I wear matching shirts and suits of color. White we chose for this impromptu wedding. If I knew marriage was this happy, I would have done it from the beginning.

The little monsters carried flowers in his hands. They were compactly wearing black suits with bow ties, coming at me in the undercoat.

"Welcome to marriage, Papa," they said alternately, while giving a bouquet of flowers.

Shelin led them to make no mistakes. I didn't think I was married today. The monsters finally had Mama, and I had a bedmate. That's how it's supposed to be.

My parents looked happy. My mom is crying for her dream day. I hope this is my last marriage, until death do us part.

Done, everyone knows where I'm not going and what? Of course back to the apartment, to the house with my wife and my three children.

"I love you, thank you for accepting this marriage" I said sincerely.

My wife smiled, peeked at my cheek and hugged me. Suddenly the monsters kissed me on the cheek. Made my laughter break because of them.

Suddenly, I remembered it was my first day of marriage. It's bride's night, isn't it? Well, I'm no longer a virgin, but still it happens, right?

I look at the monsters, where are they going to throw them away tonight? Of course they should sleep first.

"Who wants chocolate milk?" I cried, of course, the three twins immediately stood up and raised their hands high.

"I want, just half a glass," pinta Nio, the boy always drank half a glass.

Half an adult glass.

As I cheered them on, I told my beautiful wife to go to our room first, and I would put these bullies to sleep.

"Papa, I'm happy to have a mama" said Vio, again drinking his milk with a pacifier.

Both of his brothers have fallen asleep, but this one is indeed very chatty and difficult to sleep.

Very inconsiderate. Get some sleep, it's my first night, Vio.

Instead of sleeping, Vio even invited to watch Pororo. I had to obey him.

"Hey Tayo, hey Tayo." Vio sings with origin, his sweet voice tickles.

Hold still. He's watching Pororo, why is Tayo singing? Never mind, it doesn't matter.

"When are you going to sleep, um?" I started, getting frustrated.

"I am not sleepy" he answered, still faithfully sitting and his head in rhythm.

While waiting for her to get bored, I drank coffee, and my eyes stared many times at the door of the room, in which was a legitimate woman who became my wife. I didn't even realize it was real yet.

When I looked at Vio, the boy was already asleep with his thumb sucking. Thankfully, the waiting period is finally over.

I went into the room, suddenly my heart was pounding. Suddenly did not focus when he saw it already in the blanket.

How am I going to start?

I took a deep breath, then cleared my throat to tell him I had come.

"You tired?" my many.

Right, I did well. He replied with a nod, and I nodded.

When I was frustrated thinking about it, he hugged me. Obviously it surprised me. My body is heating up, like an electric shock.

"Father, Papa!"

The cry sounded far away, then it sounded so close that I opened my eyes perfectly. I saw Nio crying while holding her diaper fully filled. Vio and Zio cried with fear.

"What's going on? Where's my wife?" I asked, but only an increasingly loud cry was welcomed.

I realized myself, and I was just dreaming. I'm still Alden the cool widower with three kids, and I'm still in bed with these three ruffled twins.

So, it was all just a dream? Why is it so real. Why my dreams can be all along the way of memories.

Before I woke up, I dealt with the three monsters that seemed to be hungry. While cooking, I daydream. Even until the three monsters finished eating, I still thought of such a surreal dream.

"It deserves the bride's face to be blurry and flat, like an over-edited photo" I muttered, feeling out of her mind.

"How could I dream like that? Is this a sign that I'm going to die soon? No!" I shouted making Nio, Zio and Vio instantly approach me fearfully.

They think there's something terrible. I looked at them with fear. "Your father will die soon, how is this? I dreamt of getting married, people said they'd die after that dream. What about Nio, Zio, Vio? Save me!"

I hugged them, really scared right now. If I'm really gone soon, who will take care of my son? Nah! What the hell's been going on?

"I also dream of the first night."

I'm back in the clutter. Even the first night was not until the endding, the one who hugged me was just a flat-faced woman.

"Who will take care of you? It seems like death is approaching me soon, how is this?" I whined again, and the children sat near me confused.

"Do we prepare a funeral?" asked plain Nio, while stroking my face.

"Poor man," said Vio stroking my head.

I screamed more and more, it seemed like the little monsters were ready to lose me. The most bitter fact is, I died a widower. There will be rumors, if I die from frustration, or worse from suicide. That's not true at all.

The three monsters looked at me pity. It looks like I'm a poor guy, not Bandung or Jakarta. It's diff.

"It's okay, you're good" said Zio, calming me down.

"Good people will enter sulga" he continued.

I want to cry. Which happiness do I lie about? But I never complained. Never si, just for a distraction, but do not punish me for it. Don't punish me with God's quick death, I can't leave the world this early.

"This is called premature death, not Early Marriage," I murmured, still lamenting fate.

"Father, fighting!" exclaimed Vio, now sitting on my feet straight.

He even encouraged me to be gone soon. These children are not as good as their papa. This is a sign that they are my descendants.

I have to see both parents. Apologize and leave the monsters on them. Scared, if tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I really stiffened as the most handsome corpse ever.

"My son, pray. When the day of my death comes, I can come back to life because someone sings 'I should be there' and that person will take my place, um?"

All three nodded. Whether they understood it or not, they just nodded like parrots.

Papa, Mama, I'm coming.
