Shane's head turned and did not hear what Ethan said clearly.
Yet at the same time, those words entered his ears and continued to repeat.
Ethan broke Parker's leg?
Parker's voice quivered after hearing Ethan's name alone. What terrible experience did he have?
"Parkers..." Shane gulped with difficulty. "You broke his leg?"
"If you don't want your leg to break either ..."
Ethan points to the contract on the table.
Shane was speechless and large droplets of sweat kept dripping down his face.
What the hell's going on? He had Parker bring over 300 men to the academy, but Parker broke his leg?
Are all 300 people useless or what?
"Are you threatening me?" He clenched his teeth and glared at Ethan. "This is Durham Group! Seoul! Korea!"
SIR!
Brother Geoff slapped him in the face. He had no patience for this behavior.
Shane landed on the floor from impact.
"AHH!" Shane clutched his face and howled. He tried to stand up again, but Brother Geoff kept stepping on him.
"Chief Durham, this isn't a threat. This is the contract we have discussed and negotiated before at Greencliff." Ethan looked at her and continued, "You're the one who agreed to all these terms and I'm not forcing you. If you don't agree to this, I won't fly here either."
"The most important thing is to have credibility. People who don't have credibility won't be able to last long, you know?"
He glanced at Brother Geoff, and Brother Geoff pulled Shane off the floor and threw him into a chair.
"Sign it," said Ethan. "This is your own decision, so you have to stick to it. If you want to break your promise, you have to pay the price."
But if Shane signs, it's tantamount to giving Durham Group an advantage, so the Durham family will kill him just the same!
He didn't think Ethan was so aggressive. All the terms and conditions that originally meant nothing to him were now all black and white, and he could not deny it!
"You…"
"Sign!" shout Ethan.
Shane's fingers trembled as his eyes turned red. Ethan's screams made his heart almost jump out of his mouth.
He took out a pen and signed a contract, then opened the drawer to take out his official seal and his hands trembled even more intensely.
Brother Geoff doesn't have much patience. He grabbed Shane's hand, then pressed the seal hard onto the paper.
As he looked at the bright red seal on the paper, Shane immediately lost all of his strength. He slid off the chair and fell to the floor with a pale face.
"Everything is in good shape." Ashley checked the pages and made sure that there were no problems. He nodded and carefully kept the contract.
This is Palmer Group's entrance ticket to the Korean market!
Ethan stands up and walks towards Shane. "Chief Durham, thank you very much for all the help you gave to the Palmer Group. I'll remember it. I hope we can work well together."
Then he turned and left.
The whole office was left with Shane. He sat on the floor in a daze as if his soul had abandoned him. He had no expression on his face and his eyes were unfocused.
"I'm done...I'm done.." he muttered to himself.
After this contract was signed, Durham Group had to provide the resources he had just casually mentioned.
There are funding, logistics channels, and even tech support listed in that contract.
He had just offered this at random because he never thought they would count anything. He never thought he would ever sign this contract. He has just used this partnership to trick Ethan out of the manual.
But now, she went out for the wool and re-shaved – she has lost everything!
