Parker says nothing and looks at Shane from the corner of his eye.

He was angry but he didn't explode.

Ethan is not human!

He has brought over 300 people, and over half of them have been crippled by Ethan!

What an insult!

The chief will know this. If he did not take action to settle this and regain his reputation, he could forget about remaining the faction leader in Seoul. It's not as simple as handing over a position. He must die.

"What do you want to do?" After a long time, Parker finally scoffed and asked this question. He knows Shane is deadlocked too.

"Help me find a woman first." Shane narrowed his eyes. "Linda. Find him and kill him! I can help you get some highly skilled fighters from the Durham family to take on Ethan."

Parker frowned. "Are you sure?"

"I'm not risking my future, Parker. If you still want to stay in this position, you have to work with me."

Shane couldn't be bothered to say it again. He was, in Parker and did not bother to hide the humiliation in his eyes.

"Remember, your life is not in your hands. Your life is in my hands."

Then he turned and left.

Parker sat in his chair with cold eyes as he carefully thought about what Shane had told him.

He knew that none of them had a choice. There's no way to back off. Since they work for the Durham family, this is their only way out.

"Find the woman!" parker shouted with clenched teeth. "Now!"

Meanwhile, Linda never imagined that the freedom she had just gained was nothing but a trap.

He packed all his things and did not bring much other than money and clothes. He had no interest in anything else inside the apartment.

The air suddenly seemed much fresher now.

He's gonna start a new life now.

After she packed everything up, Linda opened the door and walked to the elevator. Just then, more than ten men rushed out of the stairs and ran towards Linda's apartment. They kicked the door open hard.

"He's not here! The water was still warm, so he must have just left!"

They all ran out again.

Linda called a taxi and had just entered when she saw more than ten men running out of her apartment building. One of them pointed towards him and looked ferocious.

"That's it! Catch her! Get him now!"

His face paled and a bad feeling ruled his heart. He quickly yelled at the driver to start driving.

The taxi drove away and the men couldn't catch up to him in time, so they got into their own car. Linda could see them in the rearview mirror and her heart started pounding.

She recognizes one of the men as someone she had seen in Shane's office before. He was from the Black Dragon Society!

But why would someone from the Black Dragon Society want to capture him?

"Remove them!" Linda took a wad of cash with a pale face. "All this money is yours!"

He had thought of a possible reason and did not dare to think too much now. He would figure out a plan after shaking all of these people first.

He knew that Shane must have sent these people to chase him. After following him for years, he finds out that Shane is very close to one of the Black Dragon Society's leaders, Parker.

All these people are Shane's claws and teeth, and they work solely for him. They were all ruthless people and some had been killed before.

He had just agreed to give her freedom and now he had sent people to pursue him. That must be bad news!
