Ethan gives Ashley a chance, resources, and helps her solve many problems. If he failed to perform, then he would not dare to face Ethan and Diane.

  Last night, Diane called to inform her of Palmer Group's plans for expansion into the high-tech industry, particularly electronics. He told her to find out if there was a chance for them in Korea.

  Ashley wondered if she could try her luck with the Durham Group. After all, Durham Group is internationally renowned in the high-tech industry.

  Ashley pondered over coffee. Then someone knocked on his door.

  He got up and walked over to open it and saw Carson. He could not help feeling surprised and looked behind him subconsciously and realized that he was alone.

  "Mr Durham, what brought you here?" said Ashley carefully. "If you are looking for Mr. Hunt, he lives upstairs. Should I get it for you?"

  "It's okay. I just came from Mr. Hunt's room" Carson said with a smile. "Don't worry, Miss Ashley. I don't mean to be evil."

  "I came looking for you under Mr.'s orders. Hunt's. Mr. Hunt had me discuss Palmer Group's technology development with you, he said he didn't involve himself in this matter."

  Ashley's heart was racing. That must sound like Ethan's style.

  However, Diane only told him about this last night, and he wasn't entirely clear about the project yet.

  How did Carson know about this? Why did he take the initiative to come knocking on his door so quickly?

  "Mr Durham, I don't quite understand what you mean."

  "Transfer technology," Carson said. "If the Palmer Group wants to develop a high-tech product, it needs some basic technology. If the Palmer Group developed it from scratch, it would definitely be possible, but it would take at least a year. However, Durham Group may transfer our technological and research knowledge directly to you ."

  Technology transfer?

  Technological barriers were created internationally to suppress Chinese development, so no one has ever agreed to transfer the technology to China.

  What does Carson mean by this?

  Is this a trap?

  But since he had already approached Ethan, he probably wouldn't dare to do any tricks.

  "It's not a trap. It's purely a partnership." Carson noticed Ashley raising her vigilance. "I wouldn't dare try something funny with Mr. Hunt. Don'worry. We can talk about the contract and the cost. There are also some better problems that we have to solve."

  Carson pointed to his room. "Can we go in and talk about it?"

  "Eh, come in."

  Ashley surrendered, so Carson came in. He closed the door gently with fear in his heart. She even considered sending Winston a message to ask him to guard the door for her.

  He considered his options but took no action.

Carson is polite all the time and not the slightest bit arrogant. He did not have the high nature of a family head. Instead, he was very polite to Ashley.

  "It shouldn't be a problem to transfer basic technology. Durham Group will take care of everything" Carson said. "The only problem is the Technology Barrier Alliance from abroad. Tech companies in the U. S. won't allow things to be transferred to Chinese companies."

  Ashley frowned and snorted.

  "So what if they don't allow it? Does anyone dare resist Brother Ethan's wishes?"
