BROK3N
Chapter 80 Burial of Ms. Renita

The mother, who was declared dead, was moved to another room to be bathed and in a caravan by the hospital staff.

Time has shown at 2 am. It's past midnight which means I've been passed out for a long time. When I woke up there was Yumna, Asep and Princess by my side. I tried to get out of my sleep to sit down and be helped by the Princess.

They all received this bad news from Ms. Selly and rushed after me to the hospital.

The powerless princess held back her sadness hugged me tightly. Again the Princess must see me crying helplessly.

I tried to say it word by word even though it felt like my tongue was hard for me to move.

"Put I'm a nightmare Put. I dreamt that Mom died Put. I'm so scared. The dream felt very real. Put me up not to lose Mom. You know my family only lives with Mom. Please Put panggi Mother. Get mom here. I want to be in the arms of Mother Put. Quick Put."

I cried in the arms of the Princess. And vice versa. The princess even strengthened her embrace trying to calm me who could not accept this reality.

"Prophey, Del Patience. Your trials are so heavy but I'm sure you're strong."

The princess patted my back. I let go of the Princess' embrace.

"You mean what did Put say that? I have received too much of the trials of life. You even know I was almost at perko** in my office? And now what other trials do you mean?"

I instead shouted at the Princess who was trying to encourage me.

"Adel you're not dreaming. You're in the hospital now. You must be patient. This is all a test for you hyks…!" The princess held both of my shoulders. Stare at me with tears.

Not only Princess I saw Yumna also crying in Asep's arms.

"You why? Why are you crying? What the hell's going on? Hurry up and tell me what's going on?" I forcibly released the Princess' hand. I screamed with both hands holding my head.

"Your adel is patient. I've met your father."

The princess hugged me again. Close and tighter the Princess hugged me.

"Adel you can definitely get through all this. I beg you to be patient Del."

I'm helpless in the Princess' arms.

I have no power to say anymore. Even my tongue was stiff and my body was limp. I wanted to scream but I did but I could. Just tears flowing down my cheeks. My eyes are staring blankly. My mouth is shaking. The princess won't let go of the embrace. He still continued to cry. So did Yumna who was saddened to see my situation.

Shortly after, I fainted again.

"Adel wake up Del. The adelia? Hicks…!" The princess put me to sleep. Grasping my hand tightly. Yumna did the same.

"You guys here first I'll take care of Aunt Renita's funeral first." Asep said and passed.

The princess tried to give me eucalyptus oil on the legs and neck. Sometimes the bottle is smelled into my nose so I wake up. But all is nil.

Morning has been transformed. Strangely not a beautiful morning like I feel every morning. The weather this morning also saw a white cloud covering the sun. Like a heavy rain is going to fall.

I woke up from my sleep. I try to remember what happened. Tears flowed back down hard.

Asep approached me. Put his hand on my shoulder. Asep is trying to provide inner support for me.

"Ka Adel is strong, right on foot? If not strong Asep fat ya." Asep tried to cheer me up but my free memory was very strong if my mother had died.

"Where's Sep's mother?" I asked Asep in a very heavy voice to say.

I looked up at Asep. Again my tears were unstoppable hearing Asep's words. I wish it was a dream but this is not a harsh reality. It's an unfair destiny for me.

"Del strengthen yourself. We'll all accompany you to the funeral." The princess said with a tight grip on my hand. "Let's go Del. You can, right? Or do I get you a wheelchair?"

I shake my head.

I tried to strengthen my fragile bones. I took a long breath. Closed my eyes and then breathed again. I dropped both my legs off my bed earlier. I tried to stand up. I looked at the door of the room but it was as if it was very far from my sight.

Yumna and the Princess led me to the ambulance carrying my mother's body.

Door opens. I saw a body wrapped in a shroud. I took the ambulance with Yumna Putri and Asep to TPU.

I looked at that stiffened body. I couldn't help but feel the pain in my chest. I hugged my mother for the last time. I hugged Mom until we arrived at the TPU.

There were only a few people there who buried Mom. The mother's body was inserted into a narrow hole and covered by a board. Mounds of earth covered the hole. The tombstone was firmly stuck there.

I also remembered my mother's message not to get dissolved in my sadness. But there's no way I can do that. Which child is not sad to lose the only family he has. I just cried without a sound. Hugging the tombstone that became my mother's current identity.

I sprinkle the seven-figure Flower on the ground that buried my Mother and sent her my best prayer. After the funeral, everyone left. I also asked Asep Yumna and the Princess to leave me.

I don't want to get out of this grave. I was still tightly hugging my mother's tombstone. Not too long did it rain. It was as if the sky was feeling the sadness I was feeling right now.

My cries and shouts broke out in the thunderous roar up there. I still can't believe God took one by one the people I love. Even Hanan has not been given back to me.

"Aaackckkkk... aackkk…!"

I screamed a few times. I look up at my head. Staring at the black sky and the rain. My body is wet. But strangely I did not feel the cold one bit.

"Lord. Why did you give your servant this bad fate. Isn't the fate I accepted unfair? Do I not deserve to be happy? Why do you take one after the other people I love? Are you also going to take Hanan?"

There was only a thunderstorm above the sky. It was as if God was angry because I had blamed what had happened.

Until the rain subsided I still hugged my mother's tombstone tightly.

The sound of footsteps was approaching me. I don't give a shit about that. I still want to hug my mother's tombstone.

Someone is getting closer to me. He hugged my body tightly in a black suit. I tried to open these puffy eyes. Look inside who hugged me.

"Hanan? Are you really Hanan?"

Not the answer I got but a kiss on the lips so warm I felt. My body felt cold and was warmed by the man's hugs and kisses.

Whether it's real or not, but I don't want to open my eyes for a long time.
