"It's like your day off is fun"
Dhika smiled at Ryan's greeting when he picked her up to go to Surabaya on Monday morning.
"Very"
"Where's Zanna?"
"I've taken her to work. He said he shouldn't be late" Dhika explained proudly. He seems to have done his job as a big brother well.
"Have your relationship improved?"
"Not yet, but at least we're not clumsy l;agi like last week"
"And if the house is clean from rats?"
Dhika did not get into the car and looked at her friend. He didn't think that far. Also true. If Zanna's house was clean of rats, her sister would have chosen to live there. They will stay apart and Dhika will not be able to perform her duties as an older sister.
"Do I have to destroy the house?"
"You're crazy"
"I want Zanna to stay here"
"You should remember that your sister is no longer a teenager. Zanna's a grown-up"
"No. For me Zanna was a child. Even though his body has changed"
"Changed? What do you mean change?"
"Yes ... " Dhika raised both her hands like two bowls in the air and then realized that it was inappropriate to do so. Especially in front of Ryan who always wanted to ridicule him.
Sure enough, Ryan immediately laughed when he saw his behavior.
"Haha. Have you seen him?"
If Ryan knew Dhika had seen his sister's chest, his friend would have thought she was weird.
"We're leaving now. You want us to be late?"
"wait. You haven't really seen her, have you?"
"No!! What do you think I'm a person?" dhika shouted and got into her car. He has to start sorting out what he can say to Ryan and what he can't.
"But didn't you forget something?" ryan asks who started taking the car out of the house.
"No. I haven't forgotten anything. I checked your work too"
"Other than that?"
Dhika was trying to remember what she might have forgotten. Especially the work he will do this Monday.
"Nothing"
"Good then. We're going to solve the problem of buying land for the cafe today. For the construction, I've already sent two cafe model files in your email. Check and choose between them"
"Are you sure about this third cafe?"
"Relatedly"
"All right"
Land purchase is smooth and fast. He sees the location and begins to receive an explanation from Ryan's vision.
"Get up" he said then walked back to the car after confirming to see the corner of Ryan's lips rise. His friend was very happy with the project and Dhika will support it only. He has nothing to lose.
"For the next project, I want to work with a big property" Ryan said as he followed her to the car.
"What are you gonna wake up to?"
"Housing, in West Bandung"
"Do you think the scale isn't too big?" Dhika is quite hesitant about housing projects that require large funds and complex legal affairs.
"Your money won't grow by itself"
Ryan's words reminded Dhika of receiving an inheritance from her father ten years ago.
Plantation area of five thousand meters and two thousand meters in Batu. Two hectares of Teak Plantation in South Malang. Two houses in Surabaya, three houses in Malang and two villas in Batu. In an instant, all had changed hands to Dhika as the sole official recipient of her father's inheritance. A very large number for a student who was just about to start college at that time.
"Pakdhe takes care of the plantation in Batu. Budhemu let take care of the teak plantation" said Pakdhe who was always nearby at the time. Dhika, who still feels sad because of the death of her father and stepmother and abandoned by Zanna, agrees. Then he went to live with his real mother in Pasuruan area.
But she doesn't feel comfortable living in her own mother's house. So Dhika decided to return to Malang and live in her father's house. Being alone makes him very lonely. He almost falls into a dangerous life and Ryan's presence saves him.
"You don't want to go to college anymore?" ryan asked before Dhika went to the entertainment venue that night.
"For what? I've got it all"
"But this isn't your father's wish?" ryan asked again to make him remember his father's message.
"It's okay you can't study at the University of Indonesia. The important thing is you have to go to college, have a lot of knowledge and experience for you to share with your sister later"
That's what his father said when he drove Dhika to Surabaya to re-list college first. That night was the first time Dhika cried after losing her parents and sister. He woke up and started taking care of his studies again. Due to not attending college for almost three months, his guidance lecturer proposed to apply for leave only. He complied and took a semester off from college. Study with Ryan and live in Surabaya so you can always come to the campus library and catch up.
Then the problem started to appear. The house in Surabaya was visited by several people that morning. He only knew one of the ten people who had come. Mr. Agus, his father's gardener in Batu.
"We're just gonna stop from the plantation. All of them failed harvests and no one can be planted anymore" reported Mr. Agus who surprised Dhika. Hasn't everything been taken care of by her father? Why is it like this? And after coming to Malang again, he understood all the damage caused by his father's brother. The Stone Plantation was unkempt and all teak plants had been sold.
"The plantation needs money. You sell the house in Surabaya the same villa in Batu make this"
Dhika could not say anything more when she heard what her father said. He now understood why his father never invited his brother to take care of the plantation. And began to take over everything again, even with the nagging of his father's brother. But everything can't be arranged by one person. He needs help and the only person he thinks about is Ryan.
"What do you think I can do for you?" ryan asked who was surprised by Dhika's request.
"Money money"
"And you think I can because ... "
"You're stingy"
"Haha .... "
With Ryan's confidence and Dhika's trust, they can finally take care of the plantation until it returns to its original state. Although two villas in Batu must be sold to smooth the road. Since they were in college, they did nothing else. Just trying to keep the plantation just like it used to be. Then after graduation, Dhika began to have ideas for business. With the help of Ryan who is good at managing finances, they set up an organic supermarket that supports the estate of his late father. Fortunately the business idea was successful until it developed into five supermarkets with the trademark "FARMER". Dhika can buy a house that is close to the house he used to live in with his father, mother and Zanna. Two luxury cars and another business building.
"With you as his pet. My money will grow by itself" Dhika replied making her friend smile.
"I'm a farmer who gets paid a lot, you should know that"
"I know very well"
Dhika is grateful to have Ryan as her friend and assistant all this time. But now he is even more grateful for being able to get close to Zanna after more than ten years of dreaming about it. After all, all the money he had made during this time would mean nothing without the presence of a family who would spend life with him later.
