Brother, May I Love You?

Brother, May I Love You?
Chapter 6

A week later Kiran found out why Dhika's brother had been admitted to the hospital. Her sister suffered bullying at school. Having parents who are divorced and remarried. She is being aggravated by Dhika's full-sister mother who has another child from her new husband. All the problems are kept by Dhika's sister and make her mind full.

"Kalo Kiran there is a problem with the story of the same mother" said the mother while preparing food for brother Dhika.

"Yes"

"really right? If Kiran can not tell the same story, Kiran can tell the same story Bi Tia or father. Yea?"

"Yes Ma'am"

The incident changed the atmosphere of the house, becoming more serious. Mom and Dad were very careful with what he said. Kiran also could not at will anymore ridicule her brother. It feels very stiff and uncomfortable. Mother also came back to pay more attention to Dhika's sister than her. Makes Kiran feel alone again in this house.

"Are you okay?" ask Tasya after school.

"Udah"

"No, there can be bad people. Nindas people want to"

Kiran was tired of the story being repeated thousands of times. Especially when many of Burhan's father's brothers came to visit Dhika's brother.

"Yes"

"When your sister is cute. I have a scar that can't be lost"

"Yes"

"Kok you hah-iya continue from earlier Ran?"

"It's okay. Just ... auhhh"

Being unfocused, Kiran fell into the sewer. His uniform skirt was wet and his knee was injured until it bled.

"The count!!! You okay?"

Thankfully, this is home from school. Kiran immediately got up from the gutter and walked quickly to the house. Arriving home, he quickly washed the uniform because he did not want to make his mother worry. After drying his uniform, he went into the room and saw a wound on his knee.

"Duhh is sick" he complained to see the considerable wound.

Furtively, he searched for plaster and bandages, the former having Dhika's sister from the hospital. Kiran tried to treat her own injuries but could not bear the pain.

Then a hand held his knee.

"Sir Dhika"

"Where did you fall?"

"No. Kiran did not fall" he said, hiding a wound behind a house skirt. But Dhika's sister flicked her skirt and looked back at the wound.

"Udah washed his wound?" ask brother Dhika.

"Udah"

"here's medicine. You hold the pain"

"Yes.

Quickly, brother Dhika treated Kiran's wounds. Wrapped it with bandages and plaster and brought Kiran a glass of cold water.

"Drink first. Brother take this meal out. You're here"

Kiran was deeply moved by the attention shown by her brother. He didn't think that brother Dhika could do all this for him.

"Thank you" Kiran said seeing her brother coming with food.

"Your hands are not hurt?" ask brother DHika and check Kiran's hand.

"No"

"But brother Dhika ... "

Kiran did not dare to say anything more. Afraid of offending her brother.

"I'm a stupid brother. It can't be a good example for you. Sorry brother"

Kiran was moved again by her brother's words. She feels very lucky to have Dhika's brother as her sister. They have no blood relation at all.

"Sir Dhika is a fool"

"Don't mock"

"But Dhika's sister said it herself"

"Yes. But it doesn't need to be clarified anymore"

"Udah knew fools were still insistent"

"Already"

Kiran smiled happily.

He becomes even more happy as Burhan's father now takes his time to take the family out. Every Sunday morning, they would eat out, have a picnic, go to an amusement park or just take a walk on the estate. Most importantly, they have time to be together. Then the mother also obliges Kiran and her brother to always tell her about the problems at school. All learning difficulties or making friends, should be discussed with the family. So that no one can bear their own sorrow. One day Dhika's sister waits in front of Kiran's school. He thought to pick her up but it turned out that he was taking her to a house.

"Whose house is this?" ask Kiran curiously.

"Mama's House. My real mother" replied Dhika and held Kiran tightly. Like asking for support.

"What are we doing here?"

"Temenin me"

Kiran nodded and they pressed the bell outside the fence. Someone came, opened the fence and took them inside the house. Kiran saw a woman who was about older than her mother walking over. Carrying a baby in a pink dress.

"I'm sorry I didn't see you in the hospital" the woman said. Sister Dhika still tightly grasped Kiran's hand and seemed to have no intention of taking it off.

"Yes. Dhika came here just to say ... Congrats"

"Dhika"

Brother Dhika stood up, surprising Kiran.

"From now on, you don't need to call anymore"

"Dhika, Mama's sorry"

"I'm home"

Dhika's sister dragged Kiran out of the house. She followed her brother until the house was no longer visible. Then they took the car to go home. On the way, Dhika was silent like a statue.

Down from the angkot it turns out rain. Kiran ran to a nearby stall to shelter. Her brother walked under the rain.

"Sir Dhika is raining!!!" kiran shouted but her brother did not seem to hear. Kiran is forced to chase after her brother. After approaching, it turned out that Kiran heard her brother cry. Dhika's tears may have mixed with rainwater, but the sobs still sounded loud to her.

"It's a loud cry!! Kiran temenin to the house!!" he then walked in front of his brother.

They got home safely but wet. Before getting inside the house and possibly taking her mother by surprise, Kiran felt a pressure on her back. Dhika hugged him from behind.

"Thank you Deck"

Grandpa? The call was still unfamiliar but sounded normal in Kiran's ears. They have lived in this house for over three years.

"Yes Kak" replied Kiran then holding the wrist of Dhika's brother who had a scar.
