Calibra: A Delayed Taste

Calibra: A Delayed Taste
CALIBRA | CHAPTER 53

Ibra turned slowly to look at Tantri, her former father-in-law. "I mean mother?" ask her with a frown.

Tantri also confidently barked back. "You divorced Shireen because of this woman, right?"

"Mother!" Shireen shook her head telling her mother to stop immediately. But the stubborn and righteous Tantri refused to budge. He looked back at Ibra with his chin raised.

While Ibra is now fully facing Tantri, blocking Audi's view that seems a little shocked by the woman's accusations.

"It turns out you're just like any other man, yes, Ibra. I didn't think you were striped, either. I've come here with other women, even though you and Shireen have not been divorced for a long time. Not knowing yourself. You have no heart, yes. You realize, no, this behavior of yours can hurt Kenan's feelings?"

Audi almost went ahead and shouted at the women menor less fashion teachings, but Ibra immediately held back by clasping her hands tightly. The man looked at the woman who was his former father-in-law.

"I'm sorry, Mom, earlier. Without diminishing respect I would like to suggest to further keep oral. Mother's words just now were outrageous, Mother's accusations were baseless too."

"Unbased on how? Obviously what you're doing is depraved. Child's sleepwalking while carrying another woman. There is no shame in being friendly. It's not as if you want to meet Shireen and Kenan do not bring a girlfriend, especially not a real girl. Could be tainted later on Kenan's mind."

What kind of affection? Want Audi to throw all the rude. But he was surprised when Ibra squeezed his hand. Audi knows Ibra was not consciously doing that. The man's face was still flat, but only Audi knew how hard Ibra's hand veins stood out.

Only when Audi grimaced softly did Ibra slightly loosen her grip.

"Have you forgotten Rega's message, Ibra? You forgot how the leg of Rega was destroyed because of your nolongin? He's betting lives, you know, for you. But now look, you betrayed the trust of your own friend."

"You promised to take care of Shireen and Kenan. You promise to protect them to live safely and comfortably. It's your promise to Rega. Remember?"

"If you forget, I will also remind you that Rega mandated you to marry Shireen not to be divorced. But now you are as good as you are and without shame bring another woman before us. Where's your brain, Ibra?"

"Buuu," please Shireen. The woman's sharpness had already melted the mixture of embarrassment and discomfort.

Shireen tried to look at Ibra, but Ibra never once glanced at her. The man was so protective of Audi behind him. Seeing them both Shireen so imagined the moment the two when they expressed feelings on the roadside earlier.

Shireen's heart is painful again. Audi and Ibra look great. Ibra turned many times warmer and nurtured beside the girl.

Silence, not long Ibra also open the voice. "Once again I apologize if our arrival made Mom and Shireen uncomfortable. I came here purely because of Kenan, not another matter that requires me to take care of your hearts and feelings." Ibra's voice sounded a little sharp.

Shireen even looked at the man. Though he did not mind the presence of Audi, although his heart did hurt to see Ibra's concern for the girl. But so far Shireen has no reason to hate Audi. Audi is a good girl.

"And yes, I do not need to remind you that Rega's mandate will be very memorable, even imprinted. I take care of Kenan, I take care of Kenan. I also still pay attention to Mother's daughter to live well with her son. So what else? What does the meaning of guarding and protecting always have to mean in marriage?"

Tantri looked flabbergasted by Ibra's reply. Before that man was very silent and never replied to anything. But apparently now Ibra began to dare, even though he was divorced with Shireen.

"I don't think Rega would mind if I fought for what I wanted. I don't have to worry, even if Shireen and I are divorced, I will still try to guarantee her life well, and of course properly."

"You even bought her fancy things, while when you married Shireen you didn't seem to love my son."

"Mother! Enough already!" shireen pleaded. "Mas Ibra doesn't give thanks, Mom, it's just me who didn't ask."

"It's the same! You're such a fool, anyway? Might be married but never ask for anything with the husband."

Ibra took a deep breath and threw it away slowly. His eyes even closed for a while to reduce the overflow of emotions that crawl want to come out.

"I'm sorry if I've been impressed with Shireen less. But, please don't bring Audi around, he has absolutely nothing to do with this."

"Huh, you even defended him. How enamored are you with this woman? Heh, you, tell me, what have you done to seduce Ibra?" Tantri pointed at Audi who was hiding behind Ibra's back. "Let's say! At most you are just capital ngang-kang!"

"Mother!"

"ENOUGH!"

Deg. The atmosphere was suddenly silent as Ibra shouted. The man tightened his jaw with a deep frown. His eyes were tightly shut withstanding the anger that seemed like it could no longer be contained. Ibra hissing groaned.

"Mass?" audi whispers are scared.

"I'm sorry, sir, Mom? Please don't make a scene. It's a hospital. As per our procedure, if you guys have any problems please solve outside. Again sorry." A nurse appeared to interrupt them.

Shireen was really embarrassed. He dragged his mother to get out, although he had to spend extra energy when doing so because Tantri was still reluctant to stop his accusations on Ibra and Audi.

While Audi, he nodded his head in anguish to the nurse who went straight from before them. Audi approached Ibra who was still feeling down while massaging her forehead.

"Mas," he called to touch the man's shoulder.

Ibra looked up and threw a smile behind her tired look. His hands were raised, draping Audi's hair to the side of the ear. "Sorry, huh? This is not what I wanted. I thought you all knew Kenan. I didn't know it was going to be like this."

"You're all right, right?" Ibra was afraid that things would affect the way Audi looked at her.

Audi himself smiled. He said nothing, and believe me, it made Ibra even more careless.

"Udah wants nine. We promised to go home soon, right?" audi is relaxed.

Alongside the worried Ibra, Audi is quietly feeling flowering. Turns out playing a weak role is quite fun, yes.
