Haru saw that he was almost at Caracol Island. He could see the island and he wondered what he should do after he arrived at the Alvarez Empire. He doesn't have much information about the kingdom because the manga never explains the kingdom in detail. He had no information whatsoever and he also had no acquaintances in that place. He could only believe in his luck because he would usually encounter trouble or someone important. He wondered if he could meet someone from Spirigan 12 and become their subordinate. He knew it wouldn't be that easy.

“Haru...”.

“Hmm?” Haru looked at Meredy.

Meredy wanted to eat his food every day but he knew it was impossible. He saw that they had almost arrived at Caracol Island and they were about to part ways.

“There is something we have to do after this. I'm happy to meet you, let's meet again sometimes,” Jellal said directly.

Haru nodded, “Yes, I'm glad to meet you all. You guys going now?”

He has changed his clothes into shorts and aloha shirts since he was on a tropical island. He stopped at Star Mango Gelato and decided to buy some because it was quite hot.

The owner of this ship was a man with a bald head and beard. He smiled as he presented his mango gelato.

Haru thanked her and started eating her gelato. He raised his eyebrows while eating it.

“Is something wrong?” The owner was a bit worried when he saw his expression.

Haru shook his head, “It's okay. Are you sleepy enough to make this gelato?”

“Hah? How do you know?” The owner looked surprised.

“Only anything less,” Haru thought for a while and said, “Old sir, do you want me to make it more delicious?”

Haru took something and started making her gel even more palatable because she felt something was lacking, “Try.” He said while giving her the gelato she had modified.

“Let me give you the recipe to make it better,” Haru said.

“Is that okay?” Owner asked.

“Sure,” says Haru and asks for paper and pen.

The owner nodded and gave the item he asked for.

Haru started writing how to make his gel more palatable.

The owner looked at him and asked, “Who are you?”

“Only a simple chef,” replied Haru and gave him the paper.

“Can I try it too?”

Haru noticed someone walking towards them and sat down next to him.

“Sure, Miss. Do you want to buy one?” Owner asked.

“Ya, I want one that has been modified by him.”

The owner seems to be quite troubled as he still needs to learn before he can refine his own recipe, “Sorry miss. I can't make it now, but I can make it tomorrow.” He could make this recipe tomorrow.

The woman nodded and tried gelato. He scooped it up and put it in his mouth. His eyes twinkled and he held his reddened cheeks. He did not hesitate and ate it very quickly.

Haru also continued to eat until she heard him ask.

“So? What are you doing here?”

Haru turned his head towards him and was able to find out that it was just an ordinary question, but he knew that this woman was a member of the secret police of the Alvarez Empire aiming for a spy. He wondered if this woman thought that she was an alliance of Jellal and comrades. He knew that he could not lie because this girl was so sharp.

“Magic,” replied Haru.

“This is a variation of Light Magic. I can avoid the side effects of this magic,” Haru said with a depressed expression.

The woman was usually too lazy to ask any other questions but she felt quite curious. He wondered who was using light magic in the kingdom. He thought for a moment and suddenly remembered there was one. He looked at her with a plain expression and said, “Follow me.”

“Where?” ask Haru.

“Alvarez.”

“….”

“Who are you?” ask Haru.

“Brandish , Spriggan 12,” member Brandish said while looking at him.
