The three of them trained until quite late before Emile decided to end the training.
But Haru decided to stay and said, “Can I stay with Charlotte? I want to ask him about Hundreds, Savage, and Killer.”
Emile smiled and nodded. “Good! I'm going on a date with Hayato.” He thinks that Haru is really a good friend because Haru has given him time to stay together with Hayato.
“Eh? Eh?” Hayato thought of something and suddenly remembered something. “Are you not going to visit Karen?”
Haru suddenly remembered that he needed to visit Karen. He thought for a moment and shook his head. “Tell him that I'm sorry for not being able to visit him.”
“He will be angry,” Hayato said.
“Tell him that I will cook his favorite meal,” Haru said.
Hayato nodded and asked, “What about me?” He always wanted to eat Haru's food after he tasted it before.
“I'll give you something if you tell her something nice about me later,” Haru said.
“Understanding.” Hayato nodded without hesitation.
“What are you talking about? Food?” Emile's confused.
“Ya, Haru is an excellent chef...” Hayato began to daydream and drool when he thought of the first time he had tasted his food before. “The food is amazing...” He sighed when he thought that he could not eat it.
“Heh Emile looked at the curious Haru who started to change clothes hurriedly throwing her face away. ‘Si this fucking pervert!’ He blushed and threw away his face before moving to a different location.
“Why did he move to another room?” ask Hayato.
“He has many problems. You don't have to worry,” Haru said. She thought Emile was worried that her size was being made fun of by the two of them.
After they changed clothes, they talked to each other before parting ways.
Haru entered Charlotte's lab again and said, “Charlotte, can I bother you for a moment?”
“Sure.” Charlotte nodded when she saw him enter her lab.
Haru was curious about the energy used to activate the Hundred.
“Oh, that's Sense Energy,” Charlotte said.
“Energi Indra? What is it?” Haru knew that he needed to learn more information about this world.
Charlotte nodded and began to tell him what to know in this world.
Sense Energy is described as a force invisible to the naked eye and released from the human body consisting of objects called tiny particles. This form of energy was also how the Hundreds reacted so they took the form of their weapons.
Whenever used in combat, Assassins could use their Sense Energy to increase their physical abilities so that they could handle battles against savages. Since it can be used to activate their Hundred, energy can be put into it to increase its effectiveness as well as produce a number of effects.
However, one's energy was limited and without it, their Hundred could not maintain its shape and return to their natural form. Sense Energy is strongly associated with a person's emotions and/or their desire to the place that is important to be activated in a person.
“There is also a rare phenomenon known as ‘sympati’ where emotions and energy clash, making two people understand each other,” Charlotte said.
Haru thinks that this Sense Energy is not much different from Chakra, Eternano, Rukh, or magic power in other worlds. “So, could this energy be used for electricity in a home or apartment?”
Charlotte nodded and said, “That's possible because there's also a device that can connect Sense Energy to an electrical device.” He wanted to say that it was possible to use Sense Energy to fly this huge plane.
“I also want to ask what factors affect the compatibility of a person with Hundred?” Haru asked as there were many people with low compatibility, but someone like Hayato could have high compatibility. He wondered what made them different.
“Have you heard about Variant?” ask Charlotte.
“No.” Haru shook his head, but he was very happy when he heard it because he needed a sample from the Variant.
“After the arrival of the savages, a virus came with them as a poison in the air, that has infected humans in some way by making them sick or letting them react to the Hundreds that are naturally known as Killer, special humans who are able to fight on the other hand, Variants are a unique group of humans who come into direct contact with the body fluids of the savage by being attacked or injected into their body, then survive the process.” Charlotte looked at Haru and asked, “You're not a Variant?”
Haru shook his head and said, “I'm not a variant.” He thought for a moment and asked, “Is there a way to test if someone is a Variant or not?”
“Have you ever made contact with Savage body fluids?” ask Charlotte.
“Never,” says Haru.
“Then, you are not a Variant,” said Charlotte simply.
“Simple it?” Haru asked with a frown.
“Simple it.” Charlotte smiled and said, “All Variants have enhanced abilities compared to ordinary Assassins, such as high compatibility with Hundreds.”
“Is there a Variant in this school?” ask Haru.
Charlotte smiled and said nothing.
Haru knew that it was too early to ask this matter, but most of his quests had already been completed and for the rest of his quest he should be able to complete them immediately. She knew that she needed to become closer to Charlotte because this woman was so smart.
They kept talking about Sense Energy, Hundred, and Savage because those three topics were the most important things.
*Snarling!*
Suddenly Charlotte's stomach rang. “Eh..”
Haru looked at the time and knew that they had spoken very late. “I'm sorry for holding you for such a long time.”
“It's okay because it's so rare for me to have guests,” Charlotte said.
“Well, do you want dinner? I will cook something for you,” Haru said.
“Can you cook?” Charlotte was shocked when she heard it.
“Yes, what do you want? Or do you have something you can't eat?” ask Haru.
Charlotte doubted Haru and said, “Try cooking me human food.”
“………….”
Haru knew that this woman did not believe that she could cook and asked, “Where is her kitchen?”
The bored Meimei ignored by Haru and Charlotte stood in excitement and said, “Follow me, Haru-kun!”
Haru nodded and followed Meimei.
Charlotte also followed them because she was curious about what kind of dinner she would make for her.
