“Can I really use this car?” ask Utaha's father.

“I am not yet 18 years old and I do not yet have a SIM,” Haru said.

Utaha's father sees the black Mercedes G400 that Haru took from his cafe garage. He had promised to come to his cafe in the morning and did not expect him to take such a car.

Haru thought it would be a waste not to use this car because he kept it inside his body. He asked Ritsu to help him register this car and it was very easy to do so. He did not care much even though he knew that it was a crime. “Let's go, I'll buy the newspaper company. I can't let them see me using a taxi to go there.”

“Yeah, that's right.” Utaha's father nodded.

“Come, we might be able to start the news that I have obtained this newspaper in the evening edition,” Haru said.

“Good.” Utaha's father nodded and turned on the car to go to the Tokyo Shimbun headquarters.

The Tokyo Shimbun is one of the oldest newspapers in Japan. The group was founded in 1888 when a regional newspaper was established in Nagoya. In 1942, another Nagoya-based newspaper joined the Miyako Shimbun. This publication took its current form by merging it with a Tokyo-based newspaper in 1967. The group has thirteen foreign bureaus. They are in New York City, Washington, D. C., London, Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Cairo, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, Seoul, Manila, and Bangkok.

In fact, he knew that such a large newspaper suffered huge deficits and losses every year.

Haru and Utaha's father, Eichi, comes together to meet Chunichi Shimbun's boss or the parents of the Tokyo Shimbun. He wondered if he could buy the entire Chunichi Shimbun directly, but he knew it would not be that easy unless he used hypnotic magic to do so.

They entered the Tokyo Shimbun headquarters together and saw many people watching them. They were guided by one of the employees to go to the meeting room. They entered the room together and saw many people who had been waiting for them.

Then one of the groups of people sitting in the middle of the table stood up and greeted him. “Halo, are you Kasugano Haruka?”

“Ya, it's me.” Haru nodded.

“Good, my name is Bungo Yoda. I am the representative of Chunichi Shimbun. I'm very surprised to know that you're only 16 years old this year,” said Yoda.

“Usia is just a number,” Haru said.

“That may be true, but age also gives experience to people,” says Yoda.

“Experience is meaningless in front of talent,” replied Haru.

Yoda raised his eyebrows and asked, “So you said you have that talent?”

“Ya.” Haru won't be humble in this.

Yoda shook his head and said, “Are you not busy going to school right now? Why did you decide to buy a newspaper?”

“I dropped out of school when my parents died..” Haru said.

Everyone seemed to exclaim when they heard Haru's words.

“Although newspapers seem to be declining with the era of digitalization, I believe I can revive it,” Haru said.

“If I am not confident then I will not buy this newspaper company.” Haru looked at Yoda and said, “How about we start negotiations now?”

“Sure, but may I request one request?” ask Yuda.

“Please tell me,” said Haru.

“I hope you don't try to lay off employees because they are all part of the Tokyo Shimbun family,” Yoda said.

Haru looks at the thickness of Yoda's skin and wonders who made the decision to lay off the employee earlier. He shook his head and said, “I will let Kasumigaoka Eichi make that decision. I am not familiar with the newspaper business, but I believe in his ability to let him manage this company.”

“I won't let you down, boss,” said Eichi.

Haru nodded and did not bother about it as Eichi would probably become his father-in-law in the future.

Yoda looks at Eichi and knows that Eichi is one of the previous employees who has been laid off from this company. He felt a bit complicated but said nothing. He was grateful that someone could afford to buy this newspaper and then also bear the debt of this company.

That's right, debt.

The Tokyo Shimbun has considerable debt and amounts to nearly a billion yen.

Haru did not care much about the debt as he was confident in the future his company would become the number one newspaper company in the country.

The negotiation process is quite long because Yoda wants to raise the buy out price of this company.

Haru had nothing to lose as he also had to bear a considerable debt from this company.

In the end, they decided to sell the company for 110 million yen. Newspaper companies with a century of history have been bought at such a price, but the reality is cruel because the owners of the Tokyo Shimbun need money to run their companies.

Today, Haru has officially become the owner of the Tokyo Shimbun and he is able to manipulate the voices of the people in the country to some extent. He was convinced that a political group would come to him for support because the newspaper had 100,000 people in Tokyo. Such a large number of people would be able to influence the votes in their elections.

“Thank you, I hope you can make this company grow,” said Yoda.

Haru nodded and said, “Thank you.” He did not want to talk too much with Yoda since the business deal had ended then he wanted to start a meeting. He sat in his chair along with Kasumigaoka Eichi by his side. “Let's start the meeting now.”

Everyone who joins this meeting knows that their career may end with a single word from their new boss. They had to admit that someone who could afford a newspaper company when he was 16 was a genius, but in the end, he was a child. In fact, they knew that they could not offend him.

“First, I will make Kasumigaoka Eichi as the Editor-in-Chief of this Tokyo Shimbun,” Haru said.

Clap it! Clap it! Clap it!

Everyone applauded, only the current Editor-in-Chief of the Tokyo Shimbun fell silent and knew that his career was over.

“For the current Editor-in-Chief, please come out and pack your things as we need to talk about how to develop this newspaper in the future,” Haru said to everyone.
