‘Cafe Spring’ is the name of this cafe.
“The name of the cafe is perfect for me,” Sakura said as she looked at the cafe's nameplate.
“Spring (Haru) goes hand in hand with Sakura (Cherry Blossoms), right?” Haru answered.
“Ah, I want to be the one to say that!” Sakura complained.
“Come in, I'll buy you a drink or something inside,” Haru said.
“Good,” Sakura smiles.
The clink!
The two entered the cafe simultaneously.
Haru ordered lemon ice tea while looking around. He whispered and said, “We should go to my cafe later.” He thought the cafe was better according to him.
Sakura is a little surprised, “You will make a cafe?”
Haru nodded, “Ya, it will be opened in two weeks.”
“Good, I will come to your cafe,” Sakura said and feel a little excited.
They talked for a while until he said something to her.
Haru was unsure but this girl always had a lot of useless knowledge in her head.
“Do you know why cheerful flowers bloom in spring?” Sakura asked.
“Why?” ask Haru.
“Once the flowers fall in April, it only takes three months for them to sprout back,” Sakura continued, “They wait almost a year to get warm and then bloom all at once, Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) is waiting for the right time to flower.” She looked at him and smiled, “Isn't that amazing?”
Haru wondered if this girl was trying to tease him or something. He looked at her with a smile and asked, “What's wrong? Are you in love with me?”
“Ah, I'm not trying to confess to you, okay, this is just Sakura in general, I don't like perverts like you,” Sakura said.
Haru moved her lips and said, “You don't have to repeat it.” He sighed and drank his lemon tea.
Sakura nodded with a smile and suddenly said, “That's right, I need to tell Kyouko about your kafemu.”
Haru raised his eyebrows, “Do you want to come with him?”
“It's okay isn't?” Sakura asked.
Haru thought for a while and nodded, “Sure, why not.”
“Good, soon I die, I want to do many things before that,” Sakura said.
Haru sipped her lemon tea again while thinking whether she should cure him immediately or later. He shook his head and better learn more about medical jutsu and healing magic to make sure he can help her. He did not want to give her false hope because it was too cruel for her.
They talked to each other while joking about things that happened before. They talked for quite a while and decided to go home after many hours of living here. They left the cafe together.
“You don't need me to send you home?” ask Haru.
“You want to take me out again?” Haru raised his eyebrows.
“Of course, let's have some more fun later, goodbye, Haru,” Sakura waved her hand and left it there.
“Bye,” Haru waves his hand while looking at his back. He felt complicated towards this girl. He was not sure what he would do when he was told that he would die soon. He looked into the starry night and decided to learn medical jutsu and light magic as soon as possible.
“Haru, is that your girlfriend?”
Haru, who heard this voice, was dumbfounded. She turned her head and did not expect to see him, “Kato, why are you here?” He wondered if he was from an ancient ninja clan or something.
“I'm not sure, but you must have thought of something rude about me,” Kato said.
“Kato, tell me the truth, are you a ninja?” ask Haru.
Kato shook his head, “Not, I'm just a normal girl.” He was calm even though he was making fun of him.
‘A normal girl can't hide her presence like you,’ Haru thought inwardly while looking at her. He was not sure if this girl had some unique skills in her.
“So she's your boyfriend?” ask Kato again.
Haru shook his head, “No.” He thought for a moment and asked, “Since when are you here?”
“I've been sitting behind you the whole time,” Kato said.
Haru raised his eyebrows, “Kato, did you hear everything?” She had talked about many things with Sakura before including her illness.
Sakura is quite open about her illness to him and doesn't mind telling him.
They thought it was safe because the cafe was quite quiet but he did not expect that there was someone sitting behind them quietly.
Kato did not answer immediately and decided to ask, “Is he really not long to live?”
Haru did not expect that he would hear everything. He looked at her and said, “Kato, can you pretend you didn't hear anything about today?” His expression was serious and he would not accept rejection in response.
Kato had never seen an expression like this from her. He also knew that it was impolite for him to eavesdrop on their conversation. He was quite curious because he saw her entering the cafe with a girl he had never seen before. She thinks their date just heard turned into a misunderstanding and coincidentally knows their secret. He was curious but he did not want to pry their secrets. She looked at him and nodded, “I'll pretend not to hear anything today.”
Haru smiled at him, “I'm glad you're the one eavesdropping.” He could imagine some of his acquaintances would pressure him to tell them about the truth and perhaps talk to Sakura about her illness.
However, the girl in front of him was different, she was similar to a saint.
Haru thought for a while and said, “Can you promise not to tell Sora about my meeting with him?”
Kato looked at him and nodded, “I promise.” He didn't think it was strange because he wanted to keep this a secret from his little sister. He was curious about the relationship between the two of them, but he had promised her to pretend to know nothing. Her feelings are a bit complicated now, she feels empathetic and uncomfortable now.
Haru smiled, “Thank you, come back, I'll send you home.”
Kato nodded in response because he wanted to talk more with her. He did not expect that it would be very uncomfortable to be ignored by him for a while when the two of them entered the same cafe.
Haru looked at her again and observed this girl from up and down. He knows that ninjas always try to hide their identity, “Kato, are you really not a ninja?”
Kato looked at him calmly and said, “No.”
