A Marquis, stationed at the border of a kingdom to dispel threats coming from outside. Hence, the Marquis had a higher position than a Count. But Daryl is a little different.

"My father made me a Marquis to help with his work."

"The only thing that old man s**lan knew only worked."

Since the third prince's territory was in the middle of the kingdom, Daryl was placed on the border closest to the region, next to Lozan. Although the border area, but the kingdom adjacent to it is only a small kingdom that is considered poor.

Daryl's job is dominated by the problem of smuggling goods and illegal immigrants.

Hence, Daryl could not immediately imagine the battlefield that Ashley had seen in just one look.

It was as if the 'memory' the woman saw was not the memory of the painting, but her own memory.

True indeed, but the word 'go' was more appropriately replaced with 'come' from another dimension. Ashley comes from a different world and life to Ashelia, with different memories. Things that are impossible to make others not aware of the change in nature.

Either the sensitivity of the man who is beyond reason, or indeed his imagination is too wild.

Their eyes met as Ashley also turned to the side, yet the two people only stared at each other for a moment. Daryl did not continue his words because he was still waiting for Ashley's answer. The thing that was definitely answered 'no' was still wanted to hear directly from the woman's mouth.

But Ashley's answer this time was also as irrational as the question he was asking.

"You caveman said yes, you believe me?"

Daryl did not reply and only remained silent for a few seconds. She did not expect Ashley to say that. However, just like before, there was not a single speck of doubt in his heart upon hearing that.

"You know too. Even though it's a lie, I can't help but believe what you're saying."

Yeah, Daryl was like that.

A snide laugh was shown by Ashley later. Not because he doubted Daryl's words, but because he also could not control time or see the future.

"That'll be nice. If I really can do that."

If Ashley could do it, the names of her 20 colleagues in the past would not be so bad on the woman's back and leave a deep wound on her heart. He would rather be beaten 20 times by Anthony, than have to watch 20 of his comrades killed one by one to keep him alive.

Even after completing her mission and killing all her enemies, the woman did not feel better. Being the only one who came out alive actually made him more aware, if all his friends would never come back, forever.

To be honest, the price was too expensive for a win.

Slipping gently and tucking the woman's hair behind her ears, Daryl looked at Ashley's face, which now clearly showed her sadness.

"I will always follow you." The man continued to smile as he thrust out the yellow flowers that he still carried.

Things that were then able to make the corner of Ashley's lips lifted.

Not taking her seriously, the woman replied with a joke to tease Daryl. It's regrettable, but Daryl doesn't mind, because it's a sign Ashley has returned to her usual form.

No longer following the two of them, Will and Alais decide to return after exiting the Gallery. Seeing Ashley and Daryl who this time it looks like they are 'dating', they both feel they should not follow the couple.

Continuing on to his next destination, Daryl takes Ashley to a rural area. Hitchhiking on a freight train owned by local residents, they went to a large meadow located not far from there.

At first Ashley almost makes a comment, but seeing Daryl who is very excited like a child who wants to show the location of his treasure, the woman refrains and follows Daryl's plan.

Inviting a girl to enter the forest alone, Daryl initially felt doubtful. He didn't want Ashley to think anything about him.

But it seems, he is the one who is too worried. Ashley even followed him without asking and looked very unmindful of it.

"Except me, don't come if someone else takes you into the woods." Daryl said, worrying about Ashley's cooperative attitude.

"Why? It's easier to get rid of them if no one sees."

Hearing the casual reply, Daryl immediately stopped his steps and turned to look at the woman. Is that why Ashley doesn't mind? Because he could kill Daryl without anyone knowing if anything happened? Is this what it's like to be side by side with a psychopath that his mind can't read?

After walking for a few minutes, they arrived at a lake surrounded by trees. The unexpected place was comfortable enough to pass the time. A treasure that Daryl wants to show Ashley.

The water is clean, but still gives the impression to 'do not go there' for anyone who sees it. The air also feels cooler and the atmosphere is soothing.

Sit them by the lake, under a very shady tree.

Ashley was a little surprised, with such a place, why did not many people come there to relax? Is it because relaxing is an 'expensive thing'? Or because something is dangerous?

"Because this is the land of the royal family." Daryl replied so casually.

Ashley was stunned to see the man's innocent face, before the woman finally let go of her laughter. For the first time he didn't think Daryl would do anything against the law.

Although Daryl remained in the royal family lineage, he no longer held the position of the royal family because he had his own family. He was no longer even part of his father's clan, the third prince.

"So we're trespassers?" Ashley asked reassuringly in between her laughter.

With a happy face the man simply nodded as if he did not understand the law of trespassing. More royal family property.

"Ha, this is so fckin hilarious. I like it." Ashley's response was still not finished.

"There's still one more place you might like." Daryl said confidently.

The sun began to set when they got there, but the place they were headed to was open until nightfall. Back in town, in a fairly hidden area, Daryl takes Ashley into a cafe that has no other visitors than the two of them.

But before seeing what Daryl was going to show, Ashley suddenly felt strange. An uncomfortable feeling that was so familiar to him suddenly came. His five senses weakened and made him almost fall out of his chair.

The girl is caught by Daryl who starts to look panicked.

"...T ...Mr. Ristoff...?" Said the girl with a shocked face at once confused.
