Hey, don't be so sensitive

I heard a loud bang on the outside of Ashley's door. Just once, before that voice changed to a soft door knocking sound a few seconds later. Both of them, were the sounds raised by Bellena.

Panicked, Bellena spontaneously kicked through Ashley's bedroom door, and immediately realized her mistake.

"N-miss, Mr. Ristoff is already waiting downstairs."

Ashley's eyes immediately opened after hearing what her servant had just said. She can be selfish, irresponsible, self-righteous, and lies, but there are times when she is consistent with her words.

After the incident with Kalia last week, Daryl sent a bouquet of flowers and a letter to pray for Ashley to recover. Then, replying to the heartfelt letter with sarcastic language, Ashley continued to get a positive response.

Be it Marion, Daryl, Alais, or Bellena, the four of them were stunned by the tone of speech and the use of Ashley's language that was not as usual. The abusive thug now looks like a normal girl who has a good relationship with her family.

When the three were silent, and Daryl just smiled at Ashley's behavior that always appealed to him, Vincent laughed so crisply.

He slightly lowered his head towards Vincent who managed to make everyone turn to the man, Ashley smiled as she said,

"Sorry to bother, Pa."

Still controlling his laughter, Vincent then gave the impression that he did not mind at all. His job can wait. Seeing who his daughter was going to be with was also important to him.

Trying to keep up with Vincent, Marion laughed softly. He managed to disguise the awkward laughter he forced so naturally.

"It seems Ashelia really likes Mr. Ristoff." The woman's words later, while alternately staring at Ashley and Daryl.

Not completely blushed, Daryl just smiled because he knew that Ashley could not really prepare since 4 a.m. Who would believe that after knowing Ashley's nature?

Not wanting to continue the mother-daughter drama and hamper Vincent's work any longer, Ashley said goodbye. Following those two lovebirds, Vincent and Marion then escorted them out.

In order to enter the horse carriage that Daryl had prepared, Ashley asked Bellena not to follow him this time. Believing Daryl is unlikely to let Ashley damage property or disrupt public order, Bellena complies. Bending her body, Bellena then walked back about 2 meters away from her nona.

"Lo ain't gonna come, is he?"

The two men left the Midgraff residence. When Vincent and Marion went back inside, Bellena and Alais continued to bend their bodies until the sound of the horse's legs was no longer heard.

"Tell me what happens when you get back."
