Cinderella Crazy

Cinderella Crazy
...yeah. More than I thought

"Call Ash."

With her arms outstretched, giving the medicine she got from the doctor, Daryl's gaze was glued to Ashley in disbelief. Turning his gaze away after coming to his senses, the man fell silent for a moment.

For the umpteenth time, Daryl was made to blush by the cunning woman before him. Constantly feeling this way, the man could not deny that he began to judge himself as a fool.

The stimulation Ashley had given her since yesterday was too much even in a short period of time. It made Daryl feel overwhelmed and as if he was immersed in something he did not understand.

Not daring to look Ashley in the eyes, the man returned to thrusting the outer medicine that was still clasped in his hands.

"I heard you got hurt."

While he was happy that Ashley was starting to open his heart and allow him to enter, the man also felt uncomfortable for fear that it was just a false hope that could not be realized.

A thin smile was drawn on the face of his interlocutor when he heard Daryl's sentence. The woman actually knew, that instead of 'hearing' Daryl was actually 'seeing'. He knew how long he had been standing in front of his room like a freak before knocking on his door.

But not intending to mention it, Ashley just kept quiet.the woman did not even say thank you.

Well, not a new thing.

After taking breakfast together at Daryl's residence, the man drove Ashley home in a horse-drawn carriage. The horse that Ashley rode last night also came with them, tied behind the carriage with no one riding.

But unlike the usual Daryl, Daryl who is with Ashley is currently very quiet.

Ashley was used to Daryl chattering non-stop. Although the man actually did not talk much, his attitude was very different when he was with the blonde woman there. Therefore, Ashley also felt there was something strange when Daryl was more silent.

"Is there anyone who bothers you?"

"Gua can singkirin, if you want. But it's not free." Said the woman later, without knowing is the cause.

Smiling at Ashley's words, she comforted her feelings, Daryl replied,

"From that, I'd rather you protect her."

"Hmm, the pay is bigger than that." Ashley Sahut.

"Lo know, protect harder than someone's mistress?"

Agreeing with the speech, Daryl also agreed. Seeing Ashley always get new wounds every time she meets him, makes the man want to avenge everyone who dared to hurt the woman. But he also knew it wasn't enough.

Let's say one person has been rewarded, with Ashley's riotous personality, the other person will keep coming to hurt Blonde. When the problem is the woman herself, Daryl understands her focus should be on 'protecting Ashley'.

But like trying to reach the moon, it was not able to do because it was too far from his reach. He would not be able to protect a mountain with the back of a human.

"Lo likes him?" Not in the context of romance, Ashley just asked because although disturbing, Daryl still wants to protect the person.

"...yeah. More than I thought."

Not asking any further, Ashley fell silent again. He only felt, if Daryl really asked him to protect that person, then the man would definitely mention his identity.

Setting the decision to ask, his intentions were suddenly interrupted by the shock of the carriage they were riding on.

Stopping suddenly without a subtle transition made Daryl ask the coachman what happened. With a somewhat doubtful tone of voice, the middle-aged man replied that he had just almost hit someone.

Come out Daryl later, feeling responsible for the mistakes of his subordinates.

Crowds of people had filled the side of the road around their horse carriages. Then, walking forward, he found a woman in her 50s and above sitting in front of her horses.

Whimpering in pain, the woman hugged one of her legs.

The glance was then by Daryl the coachman who seemed not to feel guilty and instead looked at the victim with an expression of disbelief. Staring into the eyes of the master, the coachman shook his head while continuing to say that he did not hit the woman.

It no longer matters who is really wrong when people have their own perceptions. In an environment where the majority are ordinary people, of course the existence of nobles will only be a scapegoat.

Knowing this fact, Daryl crouched down next to the woman to ask her how she was doing. But as if the drama was still lacking spice, the person actually cried out for mercy as if Daryl was about to hurt him.

No matter how much the man explained if he had no intention of hurting and wanted to finance his treatment, the spectators who filled the area only believed in the impromptu role-playing of the actress.

Blind and deaf though they can actually see and hear. The narrow-minded humans who just follow the assumptions they want to believe that's what makes Daryl not like to socialize. Neither the nobility nor the common people, 'society' was just a bunch of skeptical and hypocritical beings acting like gods.

Daryl's eyes turned dark and cold, no longer like that. Surprised as if looking at someone different, the woman beside Daryl just fell silent like a moment ago.

But the emptiness in the man's eyes did not last long. As soon as she heard Ashley's voice, the life inside her eyes came back.

"You want totality. Broken your legs."

With a cynical look Ashley walked slowly over to Daryl who had never returned to the carriage.

Ashley's figure did appear with an extremely intimidating aura, what else for the person she was staring at directly. However, that was not what made the old woman tremble in fear.

His eyes widened and his mouth gaped at the sight of something so terrifying slowly approaching.

A faint sound began to be heard from his mouth, until he suddenly cried while shouting.

"God forgive us!"

Continuing her speech by saying things that the people around her could not understand, the old woman made the audience who originally supported her begin to assume that she was just a crazy woman.

Ashley scrunched her forehead, feeling strange with the unusual attitude shown to her. While continuing to shed tears, the person seemed to be casting a spell.

But after a while, the unidentified language was strangely capable of being picked up by Ashley.

"3 souls bound to you will meet their end because of you."
