Cinderella Crazy

Cinderella Crazy
Don't cry

"Who are you? Why follow Miss Ashelia?"

"Huh?"

Frowning, the man who was still lying in pain in front of Alais turned to question it.

"Aren't you the one following him?"

Not intending to serve his interlocutor, Alais who still suspects the man jumped into the core of his interrogation.

"You're part of them?"

Unlike the knight who put on such a serious face, the blond man did not look to compensate for Alais's seriousness at all. He only showed a disturbed expression and did not really feel threatened. At the edge of the sword that was pointed at his neck then empty-handed, while slowly rising up.

"If those you're referring to are Daryl, yes."

As he expected, Alais would not act more than threaten him. The sharp object did not scratch him in the slightest even though he moved not heeding Alais' threat.

But it was also actually because Alais realized the man had no intention of hurting himself in the first place.

When the blonde clearly had the chance to stab Alais in the back, she chose to take the knight down despite her failure.

While tidying up his slightly messy clothes from having just been slammed by a stranger, the noble continued,

"You better come back, your sneaking is so bad."

Either it was bad, or the blond man was too sensitive to the surrounding environment. He even deliberately lured Alais to follow him into a deserted place.

But it is not only Alais who failed to settle here. Comparing it to Ashley's sensitivity, the two of them had actually been caught off guard if the woman had indeed intended to do so.

"Is that so? You're not conscious? Your surveillance has also been known to Miss Ashelia since the beginning." Reply Alais does not accept being ridiculed unilaterally.

However, unlike what he had imagined, the response that the blonde man showed was far from surprised.

...****************...

From outside the theater, expensively dressed people gradually left the place. Most of them, out in pairs. Then one of them, was a pair of men and women from different worlds.

Walking slowly down the sidewalk before returning to their horse carriage, it could be clearly seen Daryl's annoyed expression still clinging tightly to his face. Glancing at the man beside her while laughing, Ashley then patted the man on the back and said,

"Effort to sprain, it's just pretend."

"How could they write a script like that?" The man then.

Not satisfied with the show he had just seen, Daryl still continued to grumble to let out his annoyance. As for Ashley, she could only smile beside him.

It was strange to see the woman smiling.

Can not be blamed, because the woman actually also felt annoyed with the main character of the woman. Not annoyed with the person who plays, but with the role played. Not wanting to take it seriously and completely agree with Daryl, he just smiled.

How could it be that the story ended with the female lead instantly killing herself once she found out her lover had been killed?

"True love *****! His family sacrificed themselves to keep him alive but committed suicide instead. Woman ****"

Yep. This is not Romeo Juliet's story.

Ashley laughed loudly upon hearing Daryl's comment. Funny for him to see Daryl who is always 'cheerful' become upset and continue to curse. Although he did not understand what language he used, but Ashley still understood the outline.

Seeing a man with an annoyed face and not stopping to curse, along with a sadistic-faced woman wearing a male suit, made the little girl not even dare to offer her wares. The couple really looked like bad guys.

Had jolted when Ashley glanced at him, now he had to hold back his fear because the two people stopped in front of him.

For a moment glancing at the flowers the girl was trading, Ashley then asked,

"How much is everything?"

Hearing Ashley's question, the girl saw all the flowers she was selling. He who used to sell flowers 1 to 3 stalks per person, suddenly had to calculate the price of all the remaining flowers.

Seeing the girl having trouble counting, Ashley took 5 gold coins stored in her pocket. Since he left with Daryl, Ashley deliberately only brought 5 coins just in case and handed all the expenses to the man.

He showed the coin later, which immediately made the little girl surprised.

"So this is enough?"

"Huh? Th-that's a lot."

"That's a lot too." Ashley replied back while looking at the flower basket beside the girl.

Following the direction of Ashley's gaze, the girl then became a little hesitant. He deliberately sold more today because he heard the theater will present a famous drama. But he was also unsure if he would make that much money.

Hearing the girl's answer who still felt Ashley gave her too much, she gave another solution.

"It's something for the cave."

"Send everything to the cast there," Ashley said as she pointed towards the theatre not far from them.

"The hair is blonde, the role of gardener."

It is a side character that is not much mentioned. The figure whose life struggle can be felt by Ashley who even exists in a different world. A character who values his life so much but dares to sacrifice for the sake of a woman who doesn't even look up to him.

With a smile Ashley then put the money into the pocket of the girl's clothes.

"Don't be out of the door when the ball is home." He went on to suggest, which the boy immediately understood.

Rushing up her two flower baskets, the girl displayed her plain sweet smile and said she would do Ashley's request without mistake. His fearful face had now turned into a happy face that every child should have.

She picked up a yellow flower by Ashley before the girl left with a cheerful laugh while saying thanks.

Daryl, still unable to take his eyes off the boy's glowing face, suddenly saw a flower thrust before him.

"Don't cry."

Said the woman beside him with a faint smile and a sincere look in her eyes that she had never seen before.

Although the show Ashley saw was just an unreal farce, just like Daryl, they were still 'living' in their own world. Since Ashley couldn't provide help directly, at least, she wanted to give the award to the person who played her.

So does Daryl, who has a million emotions. The most lively figure who continues to disturb his calm, but also always make him entertained. The flower is an appreciation of him.

"...I'm not crying." Daryl answered, suddenly teary-eyed.
