Intending to end his life using the same knife he used to kill his boss, the Courier waits for Ashley to come out of the room.
Knowing the plan, Ashley didn't care much. He did not obstruct or forbid the man. He then left the courier, ungrateful for all the effort and lies he had put in to help him to the end.
But before opening the only door there, Ashley stopped.
"The cave will destroy your organization. And if Far is the man the cave seeks,"
"His head became the target of the cave."
The gentle laugh of the man, upon hearing the declaration of war which generally sounded impossible, yet somehow now felt very possible. Then, when the courier opened his mouth to respond to Ashley's words, the woman interjected.
"The winner is the one who survives."
"If you wanna be part of the winners, that's it."
Without turning her head, Ashley then opened the door in front of her and stepped away.
The man he gave the message to, just silently thought about the speech he had just heard. That sentence sounded cold and heartless. But at certain moments, such sentences will be more 'heard'.
Outside the room, Ashley was presented by 2 bodies lying in front of the door. Not far from there, 2 other lifeless bodies also adorned the floor.
Not much different from the inside, the outside was also made a mess by Alais and the guards. Furniture and decorations that are around there, have been scattered everywhere. Shards of glass and natural red paint that comes from inside the human body, also decorate the hallway and make it far from beautiful.
Hearing the sound of the door opening, Alais who was busy driving away someone immediately turned her face to look at the source of the sound. His surprised face instantly turned relieved as he found a blonde-haired woman standing there.
But his leg expression stiffened again as Ashley suddenly dashed towards him with an open sword, ready to attack anyone.
The one who was about to attack Alais silently, after looking at Ashley, immediately accelerated his pace. His distance closer to the knight made him not want to retreat and miss the opportunity.
Alais, who noticed her nona running because she saw the enemy, turned to the side and found a man trying to stab her with a sword.
Almost too late, Ashley hit the sword to the side with her wand and thrust her sword into the man's stomach until it was pierced.
Deliberately silent, Alais is very sure his nona can certainly arrive on time. If he tried to do something, maybe it would actually deter Ashley from acting freely.
"Don't look." Ashley said as she pulled back her sword.
Utilizing his opponent's carelessness as his friend was about to finish, Alais then pulled the person's arm to the side with her left hand. While his right hand was still clashing sword force with his enemy, his foot slapped the person's ankle. Successfully dropping his enemy to the floor, Alais' sword followed and stuck deep into the chest of his victim.
"You came out too soon, I guess you got caught." Reply the man who only responded with a wry smile by his nonanya.
Smiling gently while closing her eyes, Alais then lowered her body.
"I deserve to be punished for doubting you."
Pat him on the back of the man later, as a signal to tell him to re-enforce the body. Ashley did not mind the word 'doubtful' that her subordinates spoke. Seeing Alais who remained silent when the man also had good reflexes, made Ashley realize that the knight had indeed believed in his abilities. Despite the overprotective attitude that the man had always shown, Alais had no doubts about his nona.
Looking at a sword lying near her feet, Ashley then cleared away the red liquid on her sword that was beginning to dry up. Put the sword back into the sheath, before the woman took the weapon she had just snatched from the lifeless man there.
Compared to most swords, Ashley's possession was slightly smaller. His grasp could not be likened to an ordinary sword. So if he had to choose, when he was in a position of no need to hide, then Ashley would definitely prefer an ordinary sword.
"They're after your life, and they're all armed." Alais's reply confirmed his actions, along with the appearance of several others who were intent on attacking them.
"I must prioritize Miss's safety." The man continued without feeling overwhelmed by the enemies that began to arrive.
Continuing to fend off and attack, dodging and attacking, swapping positions and attacking, the two men were able to handle the situation well.
"So if the cave is fighting King Lo will also mriorianin cave?" Ashley continued their conversation in the middle of the fight.
1, 2, 3, 4. As if endless, the reinforcements of their enemies kept coming. From the ones that originally appeared one by one, then increased to squad by squad.
While looking for the back door, they fought and moved slowly.
"Please don't fight the royal members, Miss."
"My oath is based on the royal knight."
Hearing the reply, Ashley suddenly lowered her hands and kept silent. Like a person who did not care about the dangers that surrounded them, the woman sulked.
"Ha, the cave's a little disappointed."
Kicking the person who approached Ashley to the point of being pushed into the crowd, then slashing his sword mercilessly at the person who almost stabbed his nona, Alais replied, then,
"I'd rather die than fight you."
Like an older brother, the knight was so patient and without complaining about facing the troublemaker woman.
Poking his sword straight past Alais' waist, then fending off the sword aimed at the back of the knight's head, Ashley was as if hugging the man.
"...don't die." Said later.
Continuing their battle, the two men managed to get out of the building safely.
The situation inside is actually very stressful. Two men and women against dozens of people was certainly not as easy to say with words. It was just that the two humans were too abnormal to take life and death seriously.
Still setting aside a dozen subordinates who had just learned of their boss's death, Ashley and Alais were chased out of the building. But not only them, the blonde woman also from the beginning had no intention of leaving even a nose of the person who dared to fight her breathing.
Then, as the number of a dozen began to dwindle, a burly male figure so familiar to Ashley, emerged from within the building she had just left. Alais, surprised by the arrival of the man, steps forward, intending to face him in place of Ashley.
But the woman's hand held him. He felt this one he had to face alone.
"You don't like my guts, now?"
"Gui?"
As a friend or enemy.
