After leaving Brian with all the words Jessi hurt, the couple returned to the room to rest because it was almost morning.

Jessi was sitting on the bed, but her mind floated out of nowhere. Nich, who saw him, drew closer to his wife and asked gently. "What's messing with your mind, Sweety?"

The man stretched his arms out on the back of the bed, making Jessi immediately put her head on her husband's shoulder. "Darling, am I being too mean to Brian?"

At the cruelest of men, they will certainly feel a strange thing in their hearts, when doing something beyond the limits of their human instincts. So does Jessi, even though she is cruel, but so far the woman has always given a second chance to those who harass her. However, they seem to be ignorant of themselves and choose to come back harassing rather than living a better life.

"Is that what's bothering you, Sweety?" Nich gently hugged the wife's body beside him, channeling the warmth with a rub of the woman's shoulder after a long time outside the house.

Meanwhile, Jessi could only nod small. "Let's know, the other side in me says to forgive him. But the other side asked me to punish him accordingly."

Now Nich understands the turmoil experienced by his wife. Yes, even though she was able to control the mafia, but her soul was still a woman. "Have you ever heard the old saying 'what you planted is what you picked up', Sweety?"

Jessi turned to her husband. Staring fixedly at the face of the man who now only let out a dazzling smile to him. "What does that mean, honey?"

An unceasing smile was etched beautifully on Nicholas face. "We are not God to punish people. He's got his own rules for that and what you plant, that's what you have to accept when you harvest it."

"But, I am also not an angel who can just forgive him!" Jessi spoke in a sharp tone to make the husband pinch the woman's nose.

"Someone said 'What are your habits in this world? Then that's what you're gonna die for'. Just do what you think is right, Sweety! As long as it makes you happy I will support you."

The woman simply nodded while rubbing her nose, hearing her husband's words sounded quite soothing to her. She tightened the hug on her husband's body and buried her face in the chest of the man's field. The husband said, though they are cruel, but men are not fair punishments. Let karma do its work without being known.

"Darling, how did you heal me? Can Brian concoct poison be conquered?" Nich just shook a little.

"I'm almost crazy to see you lying on that helpless bed, Sweety. Moreover, their condition can be in danger at any time because of it," said Nich while stroking the stomach of the wife gently. "I went to see Brian and as you saw in his stomach. I tortured him because he dared to make you never open your eyes."

For a moment Nich stopped his sentence. "I was looking for an offer at their headquarters, thank God there were a few bottles of concoction liquid that I managed to find."

"Thank you, dear." Jessi is feeling happier with Nich. Hearing the man's confession that tortured Brian without being asked made the woman feel appreciated by him.

"What would I do if there was no you by my side, Sweety" Nich said, gently dipping his wife's head.

The two warmed each other's bodies in a broom. Then gradually from his position to lie perfectly on the bed with still hugging each other. "Sleep, Sweety! You can think of your baldness after sunrise."

The couple fell asleep because of their tiredness. Their minds need to be rested for a moment so that they can think logically for the problems ahead.

They are like green flies that dwell in food, only grow disgusting maggots and diseases for the community. Jessi's steps were so firm entering the headquarters area. He smiled as he opened the door to Jerry Morning's room.

The man stared with a hateful gaze, his face was broken and blistered from the explosion. Jessi who saw it immediately shut her mouth as if she could not believe what she saw in front of her.

"Are you still Lord Jerry Morning in charge? Why are you worse than you should be?" Jessi smiled in a mocking tone, then sat down on the chair Olivia provided.

"Would you like to come here? Why didn't you kill me?" Jerry Morning's eyes peeked at Jessi in front of him.

The humiliated feeling he got by the snot child that was originally underestimated. A mistake made Jerry Morning in his present condition. Had the man not been rash in acting against Jessi, perhaps none of this would have happened.

Jessi exhaled a rough breath, looking at Jerry with a roll of her eyeballs. "You think I want your death after what you did?"

"So, what do you want?"

"What kind of death do you think hurts?" Jessi acted as if she was thinking by holding her hands up on her face. "Ah, it might hurt if you die but can't meet Aunt Stephanie."

Jessi's sentence successfully made Jerry Morning widen his eyes until fully rounded. No one ever dared to mention his wife after such a long time. How could the woman in front of him know that?

"How do you know about that woman?" Jerry pressed each sentence with eyes drawn towards Jessi as if preparing to slash at her at any moment.

The man never knew or found out about his wife's condition after she left him. She assumes that Stephanie chose to go with her affair, leaving Jerry with her memories.

"Stupid!" One word came out of Jessi's mouth with a demonic grin painted on her pretty face.

In his heart laughed at the stupidity of Jerry who wasted his wife and also Jane. The man in front of him was really just pursuing power and venting hatred towards women by justifying his own thoughts.

"You don't know anything about that damn woman!" Jerry screams out in annoyance as Jessi boldly calls herself stupid and also calls out her wife's name as if they were close people.

A bland laugh rang out from Jessi's mouth when Jerry called his own wife that way. He rubbed a water at the end of his eyes knowing how stupid the man in front of him was.

"What would your daughter do if she heard what you said just now."

Jerry stared in disbelief as he shook his head toward Jessi. He did not expect the woman in front of him to say the impossible to him. "No way!"
