The awkwardness returns between Jane and Damian after Jessi's departure. Repeatedly the woman scratched her nape that did not itch because she was embarrassed by the situation at that time.
"I'm out first" Jane said without looking at Damien and intending to walk away.
However, Damien quickly grabs Jane's hand and brings the woman into his arms for one more time. For a moment the man thought of something that made him doubtful, but he quickly convinced himself that it was the best thing for both of them.
"Jane, marry me!" An unromantic proposal, but uttered with earnestness, escaped Damien's mouth. This time he is sure of his feelings and hopes to become a man that Jane can rely on.
Unknowingly, Jane could only sculpt in place while inhaling the masculine scent of Damien's body. The sound of the woman's heart beating sounded so loud and fast as if she intended to escape from her place right then and there.
Jane was confused as to what to say. She was happy to hear that Damien had intended to marry her, but it was fitting that a sinful woman seemed to be with a man as perfect as Damien.
Not to mention the disease he is suffering from. Although there are indications that it can be cured, in fact, the hereditary disease that claimed the life of his mother still resides in Jane. The woman was not sure of herself. He doesn't want to be just a burden to Damien.
"I'm not ready yet" Jane said with a heavy heart.
Hearing Jane's words, Damien immediately let go of her embrace and held the woman's shoulders and looked gently at her. "Why? Aren't you sure about my sincerity, Jane?"
Jane can only shake little, in her heart really want to be happy with Damien even though the time they both just short. However, he does not want to be selfish and only selfish. The woman couldn't even return Damien's eyes now.
"Of course it's because your proposal is not romantic, you idiot!" Jessi who had been peeking behind the door finally mediated the chat between the two who seemed to need special attention.
She knew that Jane was still reluctant to go too far because she felt less confident. Without warning, the woman sat down on the sofa glancing cynically at Damien who was still confused by her actions.
"Where is a man applying in the office!" Jessi poked her lips, looking dejectedly at the brother who seemed to be smiling with a pompous smile realizing her stupidity.
"Why can I have a stupid brother like you, sister?" Jessi grabbed the snack jar in front of her while continuing to grumble. "Easy things like this can't. You should know, women today love extreme proposals. For example stocks, houses, cars, islands."
He flicked his finger again while shaking a little. "What a way to propose the dream of a million women" Jessi said proudly, but immediately got a shoe throw from Jane.
"Damn it! You think I'm as theatrical as you, huh?" jane said while grunting annoyed at her brother who grew ridiculous.
"I'm not a matre, brother. Just be realistic, try to imagine which woman would not like to get such a surprise proposal." Jessi briefly re-imagined her husband's face. "Ah, if only Nich had proposed to me in such a way. But, luckily I've gotten shares before that."
"Basar bumil crazy treasure!" Jane can only shake her head to look at Jessi's behavior, but she is quite grateful because the presence of the sister is able to melt the awkwardness between the two.
For a moment Jane looked at Damien who was still looking at her with a difficult look to interpret. In Jane's heart, she just needed time to convince herself of all this. Not asking for what Jessi mentioned.
