17. Jake

Jay runs in search of Elena's whereabouts followed by Haruto and Nicholas.

"If anything happens to Elena, I'll kill you." Haruto was angry.

"You think it's my fault? You should have been more careful with Chika's words." Jay instantly disappeared making Haruto speechless.

Meanwhile Jake and Sunoo realize that Jay is not coming back. Jake's eyes also see that Elena and her friends are not around.

"Something's happened to Elena." Jake's still chirping.

"Hah~ I already knew that girl would be a burden." Sunoo muttered lazily. "I don't want to go along, do you?" Sunoo asks but Jake makes a different decision.

"I'll go look for you." Jake darted away leaving no trace.

Sunoo who saw that could only waste his breath. "Elena was really influential for the destruction of the Cranium." He smiled and disappeared.

Elena stopped right near the car, the girl turned to look at Chika.

"You okay?" Elena asked felt that there was something strange about her friend.

Chika looked at Elena eerily and then the wind was blowing very hard making the scent of Elena's blood smell everywhere. Chika closed her eyes while breathing air.

One second later her eyes opened, Elena immediately stepped back when she found out that Chika's eye color had turned red, the girl panicked.

Elena gaped to scream but her voice faltered. Her hand tried to cover the wound but in vain Elena's blood had already dripped onto the ground and the scent had already spread.

Chika smiled then appeared right behind Elena making the girl surprised and fell to the ground.

"Chi..Chick..." Elena's body trembled violently, her sweat pouring out and the scratches on her hand grew even more painful.

"I waited a long time for this moment." Chika squatted her body before Elena.

"You're vampire~" muttered Elena let out tears.

Chika's smile grew wider, her hands began to touch the necklace Elena was wearing. "You're not supposed to be a servant. because you're supposed to.".

Elena grimaced as Chika forcibly pulled the locket, the stupid period with her father's current gift necklace that Elena had in mind was to save herself from the blood-sucking demon.

As if the weather was not on his side, rainwater began to fall to the earth. Elena runs towards the village settlement but loses to Chika who uses magic.

Elena's legs dragged made the girl helpless, several times her head clashed with small stones. Elena screamed for help but no one heard. The rain was increasingly heavy interspersed with thunder that rumbled and not long before the laughter of Chika was heard. Elena tried to get up, she forced her limp legs to tread and run.

But, uh,

JEDARRR!

The shiny lightning made Elena speechless, the girl was not surprised by the lightning but because of Chika's sinister presence. Fingers sticking out, red eyes laden with hunger. Without further ado Chika strangles Elena until the girl's body drifts.

Elena could not breathe, her hands trying to take off Chika's giggles.

"I can't wait to taste your blood." Chika giggles.

Both of Elena's legs tried to move but could not, her body stiffened as Chika's eyes flashed. Tired of strangling, he threw Elena's body to hit Haruto's car. The door was dented, Elena's entire body was in pain without her realizing that her right leg was broken. Elena roared in pain, no more tears coming out as she cried.

Chika stepped up haughtily, confident that she could eat Elena at will. Now Elena's hand was pulled by her and at that moment the long, hot fangs were stuck in Elena's hand.

At first Elena fell silent in shock but as she sucked up, Elena felt her body hot as if it was burning, the girl screamed until it echoed, her body twitching uncontrollably.

Chika continues to suck Elena's blood relentlessly, the pleasure incised by her makes Chika close her eyes without realizing someone is near her.

The man kicked Chika's head making her body dart very far.

Jake notices Elena unconscious, her body moving uncontrollably. Confused to know what to do, Jake is at war with himself. Elena's blood is really dangerous to all vampires.

Jake knows that he has to save Elena but it's impossible to do because chances are high Jake won't be able to stop.

Suddenly Elena shouted that the girl was a little conscious but lost her mind for a moment. Jake looked to his right and left and found Jay with Haruto and Nicholas on his way.

They were all shocked to find out that Elena had been bitten.

"Damn, what's going on? what's wrong with Elena? Yak! do something before Elena dies!." Haruto yelled at Jay. He also looked at Nicholas.

"Please don't let Elena be in such pain." Imbuh Haruto was sad, he was very worried.

Jay turned to Jake and of course Jake knew what Jay had in mind.

"I won't do it." Jake is not confident.

"You like Elena, don't you? You have to do it to keep him safe." Jay's words make Jake even more confused.

"Do it or you'll regret it." Jay keeps pressing Jake to suck out the poison Elena has in her body.

In the end, Jake knelt down and started touching Elena's hand.

"What are you gonna do?" Ask Haruto.

"He's not gonna kill Elena, is he?" Haruto really did not believe it.

"Swake me when I suck too deep." Pinta Jake, he looked at Elena for a while until finally closed his eyes and fangs appeared and stuck in the hole of the former Chika. Slowly Jake starts sucking, he doesn't open his eyes anymore.

While up in the tree, Sunoo was watching the drama continue. Sunoo smiled meaningfully as he watched Jake save Elena.

"This is gonna get even more exciting." Sunoo muttered and disappeared.

Jake was sitting limply on the chair, his hands still clutching a glass of blood. Someone came up to him and sat in the same chair.

"You've been acting right, Jake." The headmaster put Elena's pendant on the desk.

"Is he still not human?" He still lowered his head.

"Elena lost a lot of energy, her leg was broken and her blood was slightly drained. Maybe for a while he needs to be treated." Clearly him.

Jake nodded slowly then, "i saw the darkness hitting Elena while sucking the poison on her body.".

"What you see you better not tell anyone."

Jake was silent and nodded again.

Three days after Elena is unconscious, Jake returns to NiKi's house. He walked up the stairs and found Haruto had just walked out of the room where Elena was being treated.

Jake has no intention of greeting Haruto but Elena's cousin who started it.

"Thank you for saving Elena." His words made Jake smile.

"I did what I had to do." Jake's reply left Haruto speechless for a moment.

"Do you really like Elena?" Ask but Jake doesn't answer.

"See you later." He said go inside.

One thing to note, the window opens and Jake needs to use his magic to close the window.

When he turned around, Jake was a bit surprised to see Elena sitting down while looking at him.

"I don't think you're human yet." He stepped near the bed.

Elena was still looking at Jake. "You okay?" The question made Jake speechless and then chuckle.

"Shouldn't I have asked that." Jake landed his ass on the side of the bed.

"I'm fine, maybe." Excited Elena to see the bite scar on her hand.

"I'm sorry, you've got a scar." Jake's sorry.

Slowly Elena smiled. "It's okay, I like it." The girl's statement made Jake a misdeed.

"Is Chika still alive?" Elena asked trying to reach for some drinking water.

"He's locked up in a cranium house." Jake grabbed the glass and gave it to Elena.

"Cranium House?"

"It's a house where noble vampires gather." Jake explains.

"So that noble vampire really exists huh?"

Jake nodded, he reached into his pants pocket.

"Your." Jake keeps Elena's heart pendant on the blanket.

Elena grabbed her necklace and kept it on the nightstand.

"Wouldn't wear it again?"

Elena nodded. "It seems like for a while I won't be using this necklace." His words are a little creepy.

"You must still be scared." Jake looked into Elena's eyes more warmly.

The memory of being bitten by Chika again enveloped him, the heat was still felt until now. The carnival night became a very scary thing, he began to hate the darkness.

Elena notices Jake's pale but glowing skin, the girl recalls the moment Jake tried to save her. Suddenly her heart was beating very fast but then Elena remembered Sunghoon.

Did Sunghoon know that Elena was facing a bad incident?.
