21. Bickering

"I heard your conversation with Haruto."

Elena. They looked a long time ago.

"Did anything happen to your hands that you changed uniforms?"

Elena's getting cornered. "Sunghoon..." Elena's esophagus feels clogged. He can't say anything.

Slowly Sunghoon gave a small smile, knowing that Elena had lied to him. Without a hint the girl's hand was pulled and the cloth covering her arm was pulled to pieces. Elena was shocked incredible.

His forehead wiggled. Sunghoon noticed the bite marks on Elena's hands. Then the look in his sharp eyes intimidated Elena. There was full of anger in his gaze, Sunghoon clenched his teeth until his snapping sounded into Elena's ears.

And as quickly as the wind, it was either as fast as the blink of Sunghoon's eyes had already disappeared leaving Elena alone. The girl knew who Sunghoon was looking for, she would definitely scold Jay or if not worse maybe they could fight.

Elena runs away from the dormitory that is still open, she tries to find the vampires but unfortunately can not find anyone. His feet ran across the dormitory where Jake lived. Elena banged on the door until the other students were confused. "Oh come on~" his grunts fidgeted.

Elena is still trying to call Jake for help and in the end the door opens revealing Jake topless. He was surprised but didn't care.

Jake raised his eyebrows. "What's up here?" He ruffled wet hair.

"Sunghoon had just seen the wound on my hand and then he disappeared in anger. I think Jay's in danger." The girl was still panicking.

"How did he know there was a wound on your hand?"

"I don't know Jake! Please take me teleporting to where Jay is."

"The thing is I don't know where Jay is." Jake pulls Elena's hand into the dorm.

Elena is frustrated, she fears that Sunghoon is beating Jay right now because Jay is unable to keep Elena. The girl put away her hair that brushed away the gaze violently. "What if Sunghoon kills Jay?" His murmur cupped his face.

"That can't happen El." Jake replied casually.

The state of silence for a while before finally the sound of the door closing sounded very loud like lightning. Elena immediately gaped and was surprised when she saw Sunghoon had gripped Jake's neck until his legs floated.

Sunghoon's eyes were black as the darkness of a night without illumination. "I've warned you never to touch Elena!." Press Sunghoon.

Jake smiled not in pain, "want to bet with me?" jake's question makes Sunghoon even more furious.

Elena touched Sunghoon's hand and asked the man to take off his strangulation. But right now Sunghoon was being possessed by anger, he did not care about Elena's words. She removed her body until she hit the study table.

Jay shows up and helps Elena to stand up.

"Sunghoon, everything was an accident. Jake's just trying to save Elena." Obviously Jay broke up but there was no result.

"You think I'll believe it? He always wanted what I had. You think I'd just believe this damn vampire was just trying to save Elena? There must be something she wants from Elena." Sunghoon looked up at Jake.

"What do you want from him?" Sunghoon asked, Jake turned to look at Elena making the girl even more confused.

"You know very well what I want from him....."

The sound of glass destruction was extremely loud, Elena touched her head in fear.

Jake's body has been knocked down along with a miserable shard of glass. Sunghoon's anger continues to be provoked by Jake, he hits Jake with just about anything else in the room. His magic is used for fighting now. His lips were tightly caved in, his soul burned with flames of anger and his hands did not stop slamming Jake's body in all directions.

"PLEASE STOP! STOP SUNGHOON!" Elena shouted, she could not bear to see the man who had saved her being tortured by the man she liked.

Elena was crying but that didn't ease Sunghoon's anger. Inevitably Jay who has to stop, he moves his index finger to make Jake's body float. Sunghoon turned to Jay.

"You can provoke Jake's father's anger." Jay tells Sunghoon that touching Jake was a mistake.

Sunghoon stepped closer to Jay until his face was only a few centimeters away. "I'll never be angry if he doesn't touch 'mine'."

"I understand but you need to control your emotions before you act like this. You can make Jake die. And what you've been planning for hundreds of years will be destroyed in an instant just because of a human girl." Jay made Sunghoon speechless.

His clenched hands were not satisfied with casting magic onto Jake's body but Jay's words needed Sunghoon to hear. Everything can be ruined if he is too angry.

And the trigger for his anger is that Jake went very far. Why did he have to save Elena while from the beginning he had no interest in the girl. Jake is always curious and envious of what Sunghoon has. It's all because Jake isn't as perfect as Sunghoon.

Jake was born as the successor to the Vampire King in the land of El'meara. He is a descendant of vampires without mixing blood like the Sunghoon but Jake cannot master all the magic like other members of the Cranium. He was not even part of the Eye Warrior. Jake is the weakest vampire among his six friends. He was respected because of the son of the current vampire king. He was a noble yet too weak. That's why Jake envies Sunghoon. Besides being envious he also knew that there was something odd about Sunghoon.

Without a word the tall man walked out of the dorm room.

Elena hiccupped to see Sunghoon gone. He also could not bear to see Jake drooping on the bed. The girl felt guilty because the trigger for the fight started from her.

"I really can't keep up with Sunghoon's strength." Jake's murmuring touched his stomach.

Jake had been thrown here and there but the magic of the towel attached to his waist did not come off. It's a fortune because if it comes off then the genre will change.

"You don't have to keep up with his strength, Jake. Don't let anything like this happen again." Jay throws underwear and pants at Jake.

Elena looked at Jake's underwear tosca, and as quickly as possible she turned her eyes away.

"You okay?" Elena asked was not good.

"I'd be fine if after this you didn't go after Sunghoon." Jake's words made Elena frown.

"Jake's." Jay reprimanding.

"Ya~ I'm fine even if my ribs are broken." Jake answered correctly.

"I'm sorry, because I broke your ribs." Elena bit her lips.

"You don't have to feel guilty, El." Jake touches Elena's hand and rubs her gently. He also saw the bite marks on Elena's hands.

The girl smiled feeling a little better as well as Jake.

"You'd better get back to the hostel, soon the absence will begin." Said Jay exorcising subtly.

It's not good that Jake's falling for Elena.

The girl said goodbye and went out of the dormitory building II to dormitory III.

Now he's nervous about Sunghoon. Confused how to deal with teenage vampires. Elena does not know that Jake has a heart for her so she wants to know why Sunghoon is so angry when he finds out that Jake saved Elena's life.

After completing the absence Elena slipped away to room 13 . I knocked on the door a few times but there was no signal from Sunghoon. Could it be that the man is not inside?.

Jake and Sunghoon are not in class.

"You guys go first, I want to meet someone first." Said Elena directly running away from Haruto.

"Do I have to let him wander alone?" Haruto Mumbled.

"At least he wants to meet one of the vampires." Nicholas still watches the phone screen.

"You're not worried because Elena is clinging to those demons?"

"That was Elena's choice, the important thing was that I warned her. I don't have to worry anymore if something happens to her because choosing to be friends with a vampire is Elena's own desire." Obviously Nicholas continued his footsteps towards the next class.
