33. Mixed Up

The chaos of the Vampires has been heard in the village of Luga Ru. The news of the Vampire kingdom system ending was already received by the Werewolf King.

The Wolf did not care much about the end of the Vampire kingdom because they never worked together to achieve anything.

But what was feared were the Vampires who could not kill humans due to being bound. They will find food through animals. One of them is a wolf. Vampires can prey on Wolves or werewolves. Until it is most likely going to be a lost werewolf. Not only humans are affected by terror but werewolves will also be affected.

The king decided not to interfere with the affairs of the Vampires. He thought more about the princes who did not like the presence of Liam a.k.a Sunghoon in the Kingdom. Today he received three reports of Sunghoon fighting with villagers.

Sunghoon stood in front of the King's chair, his countenance looking annoyed.

"Why did you attack the citizens?"

"I wouldn't attack them if they could keep their word." Sunghoon said haughtily.

The king breathed.

"I don't see the earnestness of you to be a King."

Sunghoon immediately gasped.

"A King must be able to maintain emotions, control facial expressions when dealing with citizens. You can't show your cruel side in everyday life. If you really want to live again in the Kingdom, be a good person. Take the hearts of the citizens so that you can be accepted again. Tonight's your sister's age-raising party, you're allowed to attend the event. I can't possibly forbid you from attending the party." The king stood up and went down the stairs, he touched Sunghoon's shoulder and stared at his son for a moment.

"Use the event to capture the hearts of the elders, I need to see what sacrifices you will make to replace my position later." He said he smiled and walked away.

Sunghoon fell silent, slowly smiling down his face. He looked at the King's seat of luxury. "I'll prove that my ass can sit there." His murmur left the King's room.

"Happy Birthday." Elena and Haruto exclaimed cheerfully while thrusting out a mini-cake.

Nicholas chuckles and thanks his two best friends, he gives an invitation to Elena and Haruto.

"My father forced me to throw a party, so my birthday will be celebrated again tonight." His word.

"Every year your father always makes a festive feast." Haruto stuffed the paper into his jacket pocket.

"You coming, Elena?"

Elena was silent for a while then nodded somewhat forcedly. He couldn't possibly not have attended Nicholas' Birthday just because of Jay and Julius. After all Elena was sure the two men would allow Nicholas to be her little friend.

"I forbid you to go to the event." Tukas Julius made Elena angry.

"How could I not go? Nicholas is my friend, he won't do anything bad, nor will Haruto. They're all my friends."

Julius looked at Elena fiercely.

"You and Jay promised to take me if I had a night out." Added Elena, grimly.

Julius took a breath. "The problem is Nicholas is a Wolf. He held an event at the Luga Ru land where the Wolves lived. You think they'll accept my presence?"

Elena had only realized that but she was a stubborn woman. "Then you don't need to come with me, I'm safe with Haruto."

"Gosh why he sucks." Julius' whispers couldn't stand it.

"I didn't ask you to take care of me so I don't think I need permission from you or Jay." Elena grabbed her bag and went out of Julius' residence.

Julius touches his forehead, he grabs a cell phone to contact Jay.

In the car Elena grumbled in annoyance. "I can take care of those fucking vampires alone." Said chattering.

While in Nicholas' residence, the invited guests have started to arrive. Nicholas has a Vampire friend but he certainly didn't invite because he was banned by his father. Like the years that followed, he invited fellow wolfs and humans but there were also some other creatures like Sirens or other incarnations present in this magnificent building.

This year the King used the same theme as the Kingdom of the Wolf. Guests must wear the royal dress code. His hair was left long to cover his forehead and some eyes. Nicholas is the only prince to have real black hair while Sunghoon and the other Princes are brown but Sunghoon's hair is now turned into golden silver after receiving a magic transfer from his adoptive father.

He began to greet the guests warmly, occasionally peeping at the hands of a woman he recognized. Nicholas tried to perfect his stiff smile because all this time he always gave a cold face.

Since men do not know that Nicholas' father and mother were both Werewolf Kings and Queens, each year his parents would tell his people and other creatures to behave like ordinary men. No one can bow before the Werewolf leader today.

Elena got into the car with a worried look on her face, took a deep breath and steadied herself to go to the Birthday event alone. Suddenly Haruto can not leave because there is an important affair with the client. He installed a seatbelt and started the car engine, suddenly the sound of the door closing made him surprised. Elena turned to the side, found Jay and looked back at Julius.

"You can be late." Jay cut. "Let me drive." He said he got out of the car and told Elena to move into the passenger seat.

"You're gonna take me to the wolves' den? wouldn't that be a problem?" Elena looked at Jay and Julius in turn.

"It would be more problematic if we left you alone." Jay started driving.

"We'll wait for you in the car." She looked at Elena from top to bottom.

"Is there something wrong with me?" The girl felt uncomfortable.

"Nothing." Jay immediately returned to driving.

Behind Julius not making a sound at all, he was feeling something of a dark aura. Julius already knew that Haruto would cancel his plan to go to Nicholas' Birthday event so he immediately called Jay. If you have to be honest, Julius does not like to be bothered. He doesn't want to look after Elena for wasting his time but Jay tells him that Sunghoon left Elena to them both. Sunghoon already knew that something bad was going to happen to Elena, as long as she was not there.

After crossing the old bridge, his dark aura was increasingly felt by Julius. As well as Jay, he feels the same aura as Julius. The two looked at each other through the rearview mirror.

"Call me if anything happens to you inside." Said Jay stopping his steps raided. He couldn't get Elena anywhere near the building.

"You guys gonna be okay? what if the Wolves kiss your whereabouts?" Elena's worried.

"July and I can take care of it. Come in and enjoy the show."

Elena nodded then started to walk, occasionally the girl turned her head back and found Jay who was still paying attention. The step further, the existence of Jay was not clearly visible. The girl took out her pendant from her pocket. "My look would be perfect if I wore my pendant." He put up the locket.

He showed the invitation card to the waiter, some of the servants were silently surprised to see Elena. Making the girl confused, was there something on her face?. Not only the servants but some of the guests were also seen watching and talking about him. Elena touched her face and walked over while looking down. "Why are they all looking at me?" .

"I thought you weren't coming." Nicholas' voice made him feel saved.

"Sorry I'm late, suddenly Haruto can't come. He also regrets you." Elena smiled stiffly.

"Tell him that I won't forgive him." Nicholas is joking. "You're so pretty Elena." Complimenting further.

The girl was embarrassed. "You're also handsome in Royal attire like this. Looks like a Prince."

Nicholas leaned his body. "Your words are never wrong." His words made Elena flinch.

Nicholas smiles and invites Elena to meet with his other friends. The woman immediately received a warm welcome from her old friend.

"Woah you're so pretty." Said EJ amazed.

Elena smiled shyly in response.

"Gosh you're big, I miss you." K immediately hugged Elena after returning from the toilet.

"That's high." Elena had to look up to talk to her boyfriend.

They talk lightly travel the past for a moment. Elena was really very happy because she was finally able to return to meet old friends even with different circumstances. The circumstances where Elena now knew the identity of those who were Wolves. There were already no more secrets they had covered up on Elena except for one thing.

"I want to meet someone."

Elena raised her eyebrows.

Nicholas looked at the person who was far behind Elena. The man was walking accompanied by a long-haired woman. His presence made everyone immediately stop moving.

"He's really back." Mumbled K.

Elena watched her three friends who were staring straight, she turned her body to see what was going on. His eyes immediately glared, his heart felt like it had stopped beating for a while. The glass held by him fell to the floor causing a loud sound as everyone immediately turned to the source of the voice. Elena could not move her body, she was still staring in shock.

Likewise with the tall man who was the center of attention, he also stopped his steps when he saw Elena.

The two were both silent staring at each other, both surprised and equally unable to believe that they would eventually meet again.

"Sunghoon~."
