20. I'm falling in love with you

The moonlight grew brighter and brighter, illuminating the bed used by Elena.

"Sleep, you need to rest. The story is over." Sunghoon pulled the blanket up to Elena's stomach.

The girl was thinking about how strange it was that Sunghoon was no longer by her side. Suddenly Elena did not want to perform the ritual, she was afraid that Sunghoon would leave her. Elena laughed at Jake's words.

"Since when have you been so close."

Elena gasped in shock at Sunghoon's presence. "Yeah! you're cornering me." Irritated shouting.

"You sleep well?"

"You're from anywhere, I didn't see you when I woke up." Elena was acting upset.

"I ran out of the dorm to pick up some school supplies, I didn't see another woman, really." He said smiling seductively and Elena hit Sunghoon's arm slowly.

Jake is silent as if he is a ghost invisible to both of them. He knew that Elena had known Sunghoon earlier than he did but things were different now.

Jake used to dislike Elena because she was close to werewolves and vampires, but now she likes him for ignoring Sunghoon's words not to touch Elena. During a school holiday to the beach, Jake touches Elena's cheek. And instantly Jake can see his future who will become a king with Elena's help. The girl managed to make Jake curious and thanks to his curiosity Jake even fell in love with Elena.

Plus as he tries to save Elena's life. Jake sees Elena lying in the Red House where she is most likely to turn into a vampire.

"I heard Chika was in prison by them, is that true?"

Elena looked at Haruto's index finger that led to the dining table where the noble vampires were. The girl shakes her head pretending not to know.

"Hey~ did after being bitten by a vampire you become a gago?" Haruto slightly shouted out in annoyance Elena did not answer all of her questions properly.

Elena glared in annoyance. "You're out of your mind? what if Sunghoon hears?" He held the fork roughly, his appetite had just disappeared.

Haruto immediately pursed his lips and looked towards Sunghoon who was sitting down. "He couldn't have heard, the distance from his dining table was quite far." Haruto grumbling.

"As far as you go." Elena grabbed her drink and walked out of the canteen.

Haruto. "You're okay, right?"

"Of course not." Elena replied directly.

"I'm so worried about you, I'm afraid that you can't be saved at that time." Haruto's tone really touched Elena's heart.

"That night your body was convulsing like a stun gun, your hands were still bleeding and your legs were folded back. Your form is so scary even though I know that you're still human."

Elena was speechless imagining Haruto's words, the girl immediately shuddered violently. "Am I that bad on carnival night?" He asks.

Haruto nodded steadily. "Lucky Jake saved you, yes~ although I initially thought that he would bite you too but apparently he tried to suck the poison in your hand before spreading further. Gosh, until this second I can't believe that Chika attacked you." Haruto's two hands touched Elena's shoulders and he leaned against her.

"From now on you can't travel alone, you can call me. We're still family and taking care of you is part of my duty." Haruto smiled.

Elena was happy to hear Haruto saying that even the girl wanted to hug her cousin but that would never happen.

"Yes Lord~ since when did you become a grown man. Just take care of yourself first if it's true you can take care of me." Elena brushed aside Haruto's hands and continued on her way.

Haruto knew that Elena was a very prestigious woman. So that his attitude like that was no problem for him.

Elena walked with Haruto to the front of the dorm room. After that Haruto walked towards his own room. Elena unlocked the key and went inside and found Sunghoon lying on the bed.

Elena did not comment because she was used to it. It's the first day for Elena to sleep alone in the dorm without Chika's company. A glimmer of sadness was felt, considering the friendship of the two who were very close made Elena not believe that Chika had been a vampire who was after her.

"Why stay there?" Sunghoon's question blew Elena's mind.

The girl kept her textbooks at the table and sat on the side of the bed. Both of his hands unbuttoned the vest and tie. Sunghoon watched Elena for a moment. He looked closely at the girl's body.

"You're not hiding anything from me, are you?" Sunghoon's question confused Elena.

"What's? what should I hide?"

Sunghoon fell silent, the eyes of the two of them clinging to each other.

"Why look at me like that? it's like I'm caught red-handed." Elena grumbled because Sunghoon's face was very serious. Not as usual.

Sunghoon got up, he lowered his legs and stepped on the vinyl floor with his shoes still attached.

"I heard your conversation with Haruto."
