31. Early
The sound of the shoes rang out loud as he stomped them onto the marble. For the first time he was nervous about meeting his father. Sunghoon took a breath and entered the dining room that had been attended by family members. Sunghoon saluted and sat down where he had been provided.
He looked straight at the empty bench where Nicholas was.
On this table only the King and Queen eat food considering Sunghoon can not consume human food. He occasionally sips his drink.
"When are you going back to the Vampire Palace?" His father's question made Sunghoon surprised.
"I have no plans to return." The answer is smiling annoyed.
Her stepmother immediately rounded her eyes.
"Go back before something bad happens. Liam has been declared dead so you can live a new life as a Vampire." The green eyes of the baby lung man reminded Sunghoon of Nicholas' hateful gaze.
Behind the table his hands clenched tightly. "Is this dinner intended as an expulsion?" Sunghoon asked while grinning.
"I can't believe that my presence puts someone in danger when I just arrived a few days ago." Sunghoon played a small knife on a plate.
"I think that father's actions are very cruel, spreading rumors about the Crown Prince who died so that the second Prince can ascend to the throne as a King. Oh, my God, what a cunning family this is."
His father looked at Sunghoon seriously. "Even if you are declared alive, you will still not be able to become a King. Because you're flawed."
Suddenly, Sunghoon kicked the table.
"What's wrong with me being different? A difference would mean nothing. You have to remember that I was created because of what you did to my mother." Sunghoon took a breath to calm himself. His eyes looked hard at the father.
"So, what you said." Queen reprimands.
Sunghoon chuckled tastelessly. "I can't believe that the only family I have in this world is kicking me out. Look, I'll never leave this palace again. Thanks for the warm dinner, excuse me." The man bowed and went out.
The Queen grumbled in annoyance because the King could not be firm on Sunghoon. He begins to nag and worry about Nicholas' safety.
Sunghoon returned to his residence, he ruffled everything in his house. He threw the urn into the wall to pieces. He vented all his anger on the goods. It hurt a lot to remember the conversation with my father. Sunghoon shouted until he could be heard to the people's house.
"What's wrong with me?!." Pressing her hair.
Sunghoon feels banished when his father tells him to change his identity.
How insignificant is Sunghoon in the King's life?.
So why did he announce Sunghoon as Crown Prince if in the end Sunghoon was not allowed to ascend the throne?. Why is he wanted to the corners of the world if in the end Sunghoon asked to change his identity?.
He sat on the floor, cupping his face. I wish there was someone who could calm her down. Sunghoon begins to hallucinate that his mother is holding him, rubbing his head gently and saying 'everything will be fine'.

But this time Sunghoon will fight with Nicholas to get the position of King's seat.
Three Months Later.
Sunlight emerged from between the leaves, Elena looked up and at that very moment the light pierced her eyes. He quickly finished his books and left the park.
Elena was still not used to the denseness of the City. The three years she spent in the dormitory near the mountains, the quiet and relaxed atmosphere made Elena unable to turn away. It is very different from a busy city.
Occasionally Elena went to the old bridge that showed a view of the river. There he would sit for hours just to enjoy the sound of the water currents. Elena sat on the rocks, a small gust of wind gave her body goosebumps.
His forehead twitched when he realized that there was a flock of young people who were about to jump from the top of the cliff into the river. They only wear shorts.
The girl chuckles when she sees the young men fighting each other. Without them realizing there was one of the teenagers who looked smaller than they were trying to check how high the distance was. "He can fall." Elena murmured and sure enough, the boy fell into the water.
Elena spontaneously shouted as well as the other young people. Some of them immediately plunged down when they knew their friends did not come to the surface. Elena quickly went to the side of the river to check that maybe the boy needed help to go to the hospital. With great difficulty Elena to the pile of rocks, her shoes wet because several times her footsteps were wrong.
"Is he okay?" Ask Elena.
The two young men were confused by Elena's presence. "Who are you? how can you be here?" He asked back.
"Is that more important now? We need to get him to the hospital. It just so happens that my car is parked up there." Elena panicked.
The little boy was unconscious, there were many wounds on his legs and face.
"No thanks. We'll take him home." Reject the teenager.
"Then let me take you, your house must be a long way from here."
"I'm not a bad guy, really. I just want to help you guys." Evidently.
"Alright, we'll accept your help because you're beautiful."
That answer surprised Elena. You brat, know what they're about beautiful?.
In the end Elena transported the five teenagers to her car. Take them all to a settlement far from the City. He parked his car next to an old straw car. Because it was night, the village became creepy.
Not out of the car yet people have stormed, worried about the state of the newly arrived boys.
"What happened to Shio?" Ask a grown man with a flat face.
The man took over the boy named Shio, he carried her slowly.
"Shio fell down while jumping off a cliff to swim, uncle." Obviously hazel-eyed boy.
The man did not answer, he saw the pendant Elena wore and took Shio away.
Elena fell into a clumsy silence as she watched the parents who were nagging her children.
"Thank you for taking our son." One of the mothers bowed to Elena.
"Ah, no need of that. It forced me to help them." Elena said.
"Then, stay one night in our village. It's dangerous for a beautiful woman like you to wander through nights like this."
Elena fell silent, she remembered the mother's medicine she had just bought this afternoon.
"Thank you for the offer, but it looks like I have to go home tonight." Rejecting Elena worries the mothers.
"All right, I hope you're safe."
Elena nodded, said goodbye then got into the car and left the village of Luga Ru.
There is no lighting along the way, only the car lights are the main light source. He glanced at the new watch showing that 7pm was still too late for this dark sky.
At first Elena did not think of anything mystical or anything like that, she focused on driving towards the main street. But suddenly his body creeps when crossing an old bridge where he used to be alone. Elena felt that the bridge looked different at night.
Every now and then her eyes glanced at the rearview mirror, Elena knew there was no other vehicle behind her but the girl felt she was being followed by something. Her body started to feel uncomfortable, Elena took a breath and increased the speed of the car. Then one second later the sound of impact was heard from the top of his car, like someone had landed there. Elena didn't care, she kept going as she stepped on the brakes.
What kind of man lands in a car? is he Spiderman?. And also this is far from the settlement, there will be no one at this hour. Elena tried to wake herself up, trying to keep thinking clearly even though she couldn't. The girl saw a woman standing in the middle of the street. Her blond hair covered the woman's face.
Elena pressed the horn, her car that was traveling very fast suddenly floated in the air and then was paved. Lucky Elena used seatbelt. Her car was upside down, Elena grimaced in pain, her hands trying to open the seatbelt. Faintly Elena could hear the sound of footsteps from the boot.
He crawled out of the car, the smell of gasoline piercing his nose. Suddenly, her hair was forced. "Akhh~" Pekiknya in pain, his eyes met the red eyes of a blonde woman.
The woman looked at Elena closely. "Tell me where Sunghoon is!." He said he grabbed Elena's hair until some of it had been pulled out of his head.
"A.ak.I don't know where she is." The answer is trying to take off the grip.
Again the woman pulled Elena's head until she looked up. "You can lose your head if you don't want to tell me where Sunghoon is." The woman grinned making Elena's body creep.
"I really don't know." Parau.
The smile grew even more as the scent of Elena's body was carried away by the wind. The three women took a deep breath enjoying the fresh air. The blonde woman started sniffing Elena's neck.
It's not the first time she's met a vampire, Elena is starting to not be too afraid of bloodsuckers. His hand moved into his pants pocket, he grabbed a penknife and thrust the sharp object into the neck of the blonde woman. His grip slipped, Elena ran in any direction. The most important thing for him was to save himself before becoming the dinner dish of the vampire demons.
Her footsteps were not as fast as those of the bloodsuckers, one of the vampires managed to injure Elena's hand. The girl screamed in pain as her hands were clawed and bleeding. He no longer had a weapon to use. His heart was beating so fast that the vampires were getting hooked. Elena was looking for tree branches to use as weapons. He looked around with concern.
Silent, only the whirring of the wind sounded in his ear. Elena tore off her clothes to cover the wound on her hand. His breath was hunting, he could not see anything due to the dark.
"Caught." Someone appeared from behind.
Elena's leg was pulled until her body fell to the ground hitting the rocks. They laughed happily while playing with Elena's body that had already let out injuries. One of them poked Elena's blood and licked it.
His eyes instantly turned red, fangs sticking out from between his teeth. "He's making me hungry." He said he was playing his tongue on the surface of his lips.
And suddenly, a sharp object shot up to make the head of one of the vampires rolled to the ground. Elena rounded her eyes perfectly, the girl fell silent in shock to the point of not being able to scream. His body drooped limp, his vision started to blur. Before her eyes were completely dark, Elena could see the back of a foreign man.
