1. Taken

The beautiful high chair makes anyone who sits there become a visible creature, has everything but must give up someone who is loved. Nothing in this world is perfect. The crown that was attached to his head was like a chain that made him even less free. Being born to be a king is good luck or maybe bad luck?.

...MODERN TIMES...

"No uncle, I don't want to marry Nicholas. He's ugly, very ugly." The two-pointed little boy cried. He pursed his lips with his mouth still blabbing.

The uncle laughed crisply at the words of his nephew. "Don't be like that Elena, don't let it be when you grow up that you'll swallow your own saliva."

"Swallowing spit? what does uncle mean?" Elena's brow skin was wrinkled.

"When you grow up, you'll also know what it means. Well~ join the play with Haruto and Nicholas, you can't be a moody girl." His words made Elena nod in spirit and then ran over to the two boys who were chasing each other.

Two weeks later, the sad news again enveloped Elena's extended family. One month ago, Elena's father passed away and is now being followed by her uncle. Haruto cries behind his mother's lap, the boy already knows that his father is dead.

Elena who had just recovered from the sense of loss, now slumped again. He had no one left, only Haruto and his mother were sick. Elena's extended family stayed away because Elena's mother was mentally ill, only her uncle cared but now her uncle was gone.

Elena is not sure that Haruto will still be friends with her, she returns to being a lonely girl. Staring at the other children playing, suddenly Nicholas and Haruto approach him with a strawberry ice cream.

"Let's play hide and seek." Haruto said smiling broadly at Elena.

And now that smile can still be enjoyed Elena. The three boys had already turned eighteen, they were in the same school.

"I remember how your nose used to suck and every time you cried, your snot would bubble up like a balloon." Haruto immediately laughed as he remembered it.

Elena pinched Haruto's arm so hard that the man screamed. "You'll die if you tell me that again." Elena was upset.

"Can't you guys just fight a day?" Nicholas who has a cold and calm attitude sometimes feel disturbed by the dispute of his two friends.

Elena only gave a small peck when scolded by Nicholas. Suddenly the boisterous state of the canteen suddenly became silent. "Wah-wah the princes of the school can indeed make everyone not wrinkle."

"Why do you call them princes?" Elena asked watching the four teenage boys who had just arrived in the cafeteria.

"I heard a rumor that said that they were all descendants of nobles." Whisper Haruto while inserting his mouthful.

"Lordinates?"

Haruto nodded, his body slightly approaching Elena's body, Haruto's eyes slightly bulged and his mouth let out a very small sound but made Elena jerk. "Vampire peer~." His whisper gave Elena goosebumps.

"Stop saying weird things." Nicholas rebuked again, now Haruto who sniffed.

Books were scattered, occasionally he underlined sentences that he thought were good. When blinking, her thick eyelashes make the impression that the girl is indeed beautiful. His breathing was very calm coupled with a quiet library.

'Even if vampires are dependent on humans, the bloodsucking demons still cannot co-exist with humans. They are flammable and very weak on silver.'

Elena pointed out that line, from childhood her father and uncle always read stories about vampires and wolves, he said, no-not just his father and uncle but all his family always tell the story of the immortal being that is believed to be the myth.

Elena doesn't understand why her family loves vampire and wolf folklore, nor Haruto. The teenager used to tell Elena about vampires.

He closed the green book he had just read, he grabbed another book that was much thicker and pulled the cover.

"The Blood Sucking Note." Murmuring reading the title, Elena rubbed the beautiful carvings on the cover. It looks like a royal book. As Elena opened the book, orange light shot out so quickly through the roof. His eyes widened, his heart felt dislodged. The girl was shocked. What was that light?.

Elena looked around but all the students who were in the library were not disturbed as if they did not see that light.

His eyes narrowed when he saw the red writing was quite large on the first page. "Black's....Eyes..." His mutter made the male student stare at Elena but the girl was unconscious.

"El?."

Elena looked over and found Chika. "Went to the dorm." Ask her to make Elena directly close the book.

Elena returned all the books to the shelf and borrowed the golden brown ledger to take to the dormitory. He was curious about the contents of the book 'Blood Sucking Note.'. 

"You know not he said tomorrow there are students who will move the dormitory to our building. Rumor is he's handsome." Chika is angry herself.

Elena just nodded, it was not important to her. Want to move dorms, change schools or whatever, Elena doesn't care.

The sound of twig footing in the bushes made Elena immediately turn to that dark place. He watched the bushes closely the times he saw were wrong. There were two small red lights but when Elena blinked the eyes the light disappeared.

"Could it be a Wolf's eyeball?." The pecker is in the heart.

"Wait, how could I immediately think that it was the eyes of a wolf, damn it seems like I was hallucinating because I read too much about myths." He said to grumble to himself.

His legs were tireless, he still continued to run dodging the pursuit of the savage beast. The creepy animal was bluffing with its drooping fangs, of course its footsteps were not as fast as wolves. The girl fell down and was ambushed, without warning her head was immediately devoured and...

Her eyes opened, her body was flooded with sweat, her breathing was irregular as if Elena was actually running. His hands moved up to make sure that his head was still there. "Hah~" A sigh of relief sounded clear. He saw a wall clock showing half two in the morning. Suddenly there was a creaking sound on the wall, the sound grew louder as Elena was frightened. He looked at the other bed but Chika was not there. Elena just remembered that her friend was in the party.

The sound of the claw getting louder made his body tremble violently. Her breathing felt tight as Elena began to hear the sound of the wolf's gloom. He knew he was not dreaming or hallucinating.

His eyes widened as he saw the wolf hand piercing through the wall touching the marble. The girl immediately shouted and ran towards the door. Elena grew hysterical as her body collided with someone.

"What's wrong?" Asked a man looking at Elena's frightened face.

Elena was about to tell what she had just seen but she knew that this person before her would definitely not believe her words. "There's insects." Elena was lying.

"Let me check." Said the tall man. He walked into Elena's room and checked every corner. He also saw a strange book in bed.

"Ah that library fantasy book." Elena exclaimed with an irregular breath.

After checking all the corners and not getting any of the men out of Elena's room. "Do you want me to sleep until Chika comes?".

Sontak Elena gasped in surprise. "No need." Answer's short. Elena recognized the man before her, he was Sunghoon one of the handsome men that Haruto said was of noble descent.

"You can call me if there's anything, my room's number 13." The exclamation made Elena nod.

He looked at the handsome man's side, the dark passage drowning the teenager from Elena's sight.

Not daring to be alone in the dormitory, Elena chose to wait for Chika in the dorm lobby. He had also thought of going to Haruto's dorm but Elena undoed her intentions. It'll be in trouble if all of a sudden tonight there's a check.

He grabbed his jacket and closed the door. While stepping on her feet unintentionally stepping on something, Elena grabbed the thing. "Wristbands? could it be Sunghoon?" He shrugged his shoulders and put the heart-shaped bracelet in his jacket pocket.

Chika placed a tray filled with food on the table, the girl grumbled while sitting on the chair. Upset because the queue was taken by someone else.

"You're supposed to stay put so the queue won't be taken by anyone else." Elena's advice while finishing her banana milk.

Suddenly, two men come to Chika and Elena's table. They are Haruto and Nicholas, who else if not them?. "Good morning my beautiful cousin." Haruto made Elena nauseous early in the morning.

"I think it's something a couple of cousins overdo." Chika.

"Why? you want me to say hello too?"

"Eugh! of course not. I wouldn't like being called by a flirtatious guy like you." Chika acted disgusted.

"You don't eat anymore, Nick?" Elena asked worriedly.

Nicholas raised his eyebrows. "My digestion still hurts." He said he looked the other way.

Worried about Elena, she planned to buy medicine to the school pharmacy later. So Nicholas can eat again.

In the library, he touched his forehead because he was too dizzy to digest the mathematical formula that begat. Occasionally stretch the body to eliminate soreness. Elena watched Nicholas who was reading a book. The man was now his favorite, rightly what his uncle said, Elena swallowed her own saliva. Who would have thought, that little boy had now turned into handsome, intelligent and polite, especially that man had rarely spoken since childhood.

While watching the man of her heart, Elena's eyes were turned to Sunghoon who was walking through the library. Elena suddenly remembered the bracelet she found last night.

The girl walked after Sunghoon, her footsteps too fast for Elena to follow.

"What's he doing back at school for?." Elena muttered, she still followed Sunghoon from behind.

Just at the end, Elena saw Sunghoon talking to one of the male students whom Elena did not know. The girl noticed a conversation that seemed suspicious to her.

Suddenly his eyes widened, his heart felt dislodged when he saw a lump of fire coming out of Sunghoon's hands. Elena held her breath as the fireball was thrown towards the male student before Sunghoon.

The echoing screams made Elena's body creep and tremble violently. His eyes reddened as he looked at the strangeness that came out from every hand of Sunghoon.

"Pe.witch." His murmur made Sunghoon turn his head and find out Elena's whereabouts.

Her eyes almost popped out, Elena turned around and ran to avoid Sunghoon but the rice had already become porridge. Sunghoon won't let the woman go and tell everyone about her.

One second only Sunghoon was in front of Elena blocking his path. The girl screamed in shock and fear.

Sunghoon smiled wickedly then clutched hard on Elena's jaw. He closed his eyes not wanting to see Sunghoon.

"Why? you scared?" The question made Elena helpless.

"Let me live." Pinta Elena. He knew that he was in great danger right now.

"How far have you been peeping?"

"I didn't see anything."

"Liar must be killed." Sunghoon's whisper drew his face closer to Elena's face.

The young man watched Elena closely. "You'll die if you don't open your eyes." The impact made Elena constantly frightened.

"One.." Sunghoon started counting and without a second thought Elena opened her eyes. The girl was fixated when she saw the dark black eyes of Sunghoon.

"Bec..be...black Eyes."

Sunghoon smile.

"You'll be mine from now on."
