“Blaaarr!” A flash of fire instantly appeared, then turned to burn around the room which left Toz and Reve trapped inside.
“What the hell is this?!” pekik Toz's.
The fire that burned the room seemed to be dancing around them, like waving a hand about to burn that thin body that was lacking in fat.
Reve stared flat in front of him, “what are you planning?” ogre.
“Even in a situation like this I don't see fear in your eyes,” said a sudden voice.
“Ke-head of the village?!” pekik Toz was shocked when he realized whose voice it was.
The flames that were burning around him instantly moved fused to a single point in front of them, gathering like a ball of fire then flying into the ceiling burning an old lighting lamp.
Toz gasped in shock, as soon as he realized there was no more fire shutting them down.
“Why be afraid? I'm sure you won't kill us both,” Reve said it with confidence.
After the fire burned the lights on the ceiling, the resulting lighting made the figure of the wearer of fire magic clearly visible in front of them.
An old dwarf figure, with clear wrinkles on his cheeks. There was no smile or hospitality on his face, except a calm expression that symbolized a leader in him.
“Your courage is commendable,” the village chief then stepped closer to them.
“Ke-head of the village? Why did you ask us to come here?” ask Toz nervously.
“There's something I want to ask you, sit down.”
“Be-so? But where are we going to sit?” Toz was confused because there was no chair there.
Unlike Reve who just smiled, then dropped the body to sit quietly in his standing position now.
The shocked Toz immediately glanced to the side, seeing Reve already sitting on the floor they were stepping on. Slowly, Toz lowered his head and imitated Reve by sitting down like he was.
“So? What would a respectable village chief ask a human crumb like us?” Reve stared calmly as he followed the typical youngster smile on his face.
“The blood that was attached to your body when you came here, what was the blood of Hydra, or their blood?”
The question that was suddenly thrown was not even able to disturb Reve's expression, unless he finally let out a grin as if splitting his face.
“Already expected, leaders can not be deceived apparently.”
“You,” the expression of the village chief changed.
It made Toz speechless, his body shaking violently with the pressure from the village chief Krucoa who was feared as the world's fire demon Guide.
“So, what will you do? I just happened to be here, no other means. After all who would be willing to deal with an old fire demon?”
“It looks like you know more than seen.”
“Of course, isn't it strange that I entered the world of the Guide without knowing what the contents are?” reply Reve relaxed.
“World information Guide is not open directly to the human world. No one will be able to break the agreement unless there is a guider in your family, it looks like you know the world information Guide from there,” said the village head.
“Tu-wait-wait! What do you mean by talk? Guide world information is not open in the human world? What mean?! I have absolutely no idea what you guys are talking about,” cut Toz out of the blue.
Reve turned his face towards Toz with a smile, “that's why people like you will die quickly here.”
“Deg!” toz's heart gasped in shock at hearing that, “a-what do you mean?”
“Nebia nad aseka sistora maharz (live and dead mine alone), til daa hanlaask ukntu kareem (no mistake for them), obberaa sistora (in my hands mine), what does that mean Toz?” Reve looked at him with a petty expression.
“What do you think it means?”
Toz could not say anything, the shadow of the meaning of the covenant that Alci had once spoken recalled in his head, he wanted to reveal, but his lips did not want to move. It was as if her little heart felt that what was about to come out of her mouth was not the truth later on.
“The guider is nothing more than a tumbar for the gods,” cut Reve suddenly.
“Tu-wait! W-what do you mean?!” Toz was shocked to hear that. He could not believe what he had just heard from Reve's mouth.
“Tumbals for gods?! The guides?! Does that mean we will die once we enter this place?!” Toz still couldn't accept what he heard.
“The Bleedya contract we signed before entering this place is an agreement from the rulers for us,” Reve continued.
“Tu-wait! Whatchu mean?! Isn't that the contract the association awarded because we agreed to the terms of entering the world Guide?!”
“Yes, because it is a contract that the rulers give to those who want it.”
“A-I still don't understand,” Toz said with
head erect.
“I didn't know you were this stupid. The essence of the covenant contract was that those who agreed to it, would end up as the demise of the gods! And it all happened because of the devotees who tried to harass them. This is karma for the descendants of those worshippers! Do you understand?! We are the ones who have to pay for that karma!” gerutu Reve was irritated.
“Ki-us?! We're humans! It has nothing to do with the god or his worshipers!”
“Stupid basis! That's because humans are also one of his devotees! Now the humans entering this world must also pay for the karma of their ancestors! Do you understand stupid?!” Reve was really an emotion made.
While the village chief was silent to the debate of two human children who did not know themselves.
“Ja-so we are a tumbar? Because of that there is no detailed information about the world of the Guide in the human world?” Toz felt that he had jumped over the cliff because he heard the story.
“A-does that mean I'm going to die? Does that mean I won't be rich and happy for my parents?” toz muttered with a very slumped expression.
The village chief who from earlier calmed down finally let out a sound, “as long as you don't mess around then you'll be fine. The contract will only be valid on a certain night, if you can get out of the world of the Guide the moment before that night happens, then you will be able to avoid death,” explained the village chief.
“Exit from this world?! Can it be?!” suddenly Toz was excited.
“Didn't anyone say if you could come back when the Tisea gate opened?” ask the village chief.
“Ah! It was in the contract agreement,” said Toz with eyes slightly upwards as if glaring at the contents of his brain.
“If you can return to the human world before that night then you will be safe,” said the village chief.
“Ah, thank you for the information of the village chief. If not for you, I would have cried myself for regretting coming to this world,” Toz said while looking down for a long time.
“Wait! The night you were talking about, what night is it?!”
“You don't need to know. Just remember one thing, when the red and white moon started to pull and unite, you already have to leave this world,” the village chief turned his body as if he was going to leave.
Toz fell silent, then glanced at Reve who was busy playing the snake in his lap.
“Alright, I understand, thank you for the information you have provided. Someday I will definitely pay your favor sir,” Toz then stand up from his seat.
The village chief did not reply, other than touching the plants in the room without a sound. Toz felt the tension flowing silently around him. It was as if something, yet it did not come to the surface.
“Village chief, may I ask you something? I promise this will be my last question,” Weep Toz break the silence.
The village chief still did not answer except to stare at him while picking a withered leaf from the plant he touched.
“Is the contract of agreement also applicable to your nation?” toz's unexpected question, made the village chief and Reve cast a strange glance towards him.
