Death Games
Suspicion of the Elders

“Ayo,” Reve turned her body suddenly.

“Wait!” intercept the iron filers who stopped their steps. Both of them looked at him. “Are you guys going to leave this city?”

“Not yet. Likely two more days,” reply Aza by glancing upwards. It seemed like there was something he was thinking about when he answered her.

“Then come to the black house. I'll welcome you there.”

“Hah? Why?” the big brother looks lazy.

“You suspicious people. Until your departure, stay there.”

Reve laughed softly. “So you want to keep an eye on us?”

“Ya.”

“Yeah, whatever. I don't care because you've been kind enough to give me information. Tomorrow we'll come. Don't forget to prepare the food, you're the King here right?” Aza Ergo smiled wryly.

Finally, he and Reve left the prison. Now only the iron filer and Izanami Forseti remain.

“I hope you also comply with my request, Mr.”

Izanami turned his head. “You invited me?”

“I know that you have been wandering around this city for a long time. But only now do you show fangs. Better follow my advice, because it looks like you're hiding.”

Izanami. “Now I understand, it is only fitting that someone like you can become a leader in this city. Apparently, nothing escapes your supervision huh.”

The figure did not answer him and just stepped foot closer to the blood controller. Slowly, his hand was raised. “Izakiel, noble level human merlindia,” he said introducing himself.

The man was silent. A moment later, he returned a handshake. “Izanami, only foreigners who want to stay here.”

“No problem. Anyone can spend a day in this city.”

“Sorry for messing up your suburbs.”

Izakiel smiles. “Not a problem, but I hope you will pay for the compensation,” he replied with laughter by Izanami.

While on the streets, accompanied by the charm of the night sky decorated with two months without stars, two young men stepped casually.

Cold vegetables hit the skin, although it will not affect one of them. Being around doesn't mean anything. And a snake wrapped around the neck of a young man, trying to hide in the night.

“I don't think we can get anything from Izanami that,” said Reve suddenly.

“Keca?”

“Ya.”

“But, at least we get other information. May Cley Vortha know Zeus Vortha.”

Reve also glanced at Aza who was as tall as him. The line of the face of the higher-ups was indeed dazzling. “I want to ask something.”

Aza smiled wryly. “Any saw you being polite.”

“Cih!” reve's response with a lazy look. The silence continued for a few seconds. “If we fail to find Zeus information from Cley, what will you do next?”

Aza Ergo was silent. They continued to step until the higher-ups finally stopped. “Why?”

“I only ask.” However, there was a strange smile on Reve Nel Keres' lips. Aza who looked relaxed expression looked up at the sky.

“I know what you're thinking. You must have thought, if I managed to get the amaryllis and blood information first, I might not help you again right?”

There was no reply from the young man who kept the snake. His net only focused on the eyes of the empusa higher-ups.

“Didn't I say it? Even if it was a rotten apple, I would still pay the price,”.

“Any hear people as young as you say that. Sometimes, not everyone will bet their lives just because of a cooperation.”

Somehow tension started to build between them.

“I know you don't trust me. But our life experiences are not much different. You lost your homeland and I lost my life. There is no need to trust each other. But do not forget, if you want to work together there must be a price paid first. And I paid for it with information you wouldn't have gotten. Because I'm the higher-ups of empusa.”

Finished saying that, Aza also walked past Reve. A glance of his hand touched the young man's shoulder, before stepping first to leave him.

The next day, the group at the inn that Aza had booked was getting ready.

“What's the problem?”

“What?” Riz turned to look towards Doxia.

“We will go to the lion's den.”

“But this is Lord Aza's order.”

“Since when did he become our leader?!”

“But he is the highest ranking and the greatest of us all,” Toz timpal without sin.

“Great? If I'm serious, I might be better than him!” irritated Doxia Mero not accept.

“If you're serious, it's possible that your body only lives a bone in his hand.”

“What you said!” glaring towards Horusca.

“I just said reality. The busy roar is usually the weakest.”

“Aah! You are yes, really annoying!” doxia growled as her hands almost grabbed Horusca's head.

“Why is this a storm? Come fast, I'm hungry,” complained Aza. He stepped first with his entourage who followed him from behind.

In a different place, an old man came to the hydra leader in his room. A very large room, a luxurious bed in the middle and a beautiful rug stretched out throughout the eye of the beholder.

“Lho, what do elite elders like you do here?”

“Can I not visit you?”

Hydragel Kers laughed softly. “Of course you can. Sleep here too can you, do you want wine? But I'm not going to split it, so you eat apples only.”

The old man could only shake his head because of his words. “You still haven't changed.”

But suddenly it was a loud laugh that Kers threw. “Where can I change? I've been born a man, Mr.”

Really the old man was made to have a headache from dealing with the young man in front of him.

“O-oh, what is this? You got a headache? Don't faint! I can't help you,” panicked as he took a chair and handed it over to his guest.

“Yes geez. It's worth Revtel is always high blooded when it comes to you.”

And still the laughter that the Hydra leader let out. “That's because Revtel can't be joked around. After all, who would want to deal with him? Too serious, stiff, even four eyes. I'm sure pretty girls definitely don't like the looks of it.”

“He's your colleague Kers.”

“Then? He remains my deputy and subordinate right?” the man laughed out loud while hitting his thigh. Whether what's funny, it feels like people have a lot to be patient when dealing with it.

“Hah ..” the sound of the old man's slow breath. “Kers.”

“Mm.”

“There is a strange movement from empusa.”

Jokingly, the Hydra leader turned relaxed. “Then?”

“Do you have no intention of investigating?”

“Whatever it would cost our nation?”

“Entahlah. But it's good we're on guard. Considering they went to the temple of Lord Susanoo in secret.”

“Mm ... it's possible they want to meditate.”

“Kers.”

“What?”

The old man returned to his head. “Empusa is a threat, however they are a nation of half Gods.”

“Then? Their ability remains as lousy as people in general.”

“But it does not reject the fact that the first genius higher-ups are from their nation.”

“Aza?” kers looks so soft.

“He was one of the students in Hadesia, Kers.”

“I also.”

“But he's younger than you.”

“Freely different four years.”

“He's the youngest Kers.”

“But he is only a superior, while I am the leader of the hydra nation, Mr.”

It felt like the old man's age wanted to thin out from talking to him. “Even the training was destroyed because of him.”

“Yes, but Revtel is also guilty.”

“What really happened in Hadesia?”

“Come,” Kers is back to eating his wine casually.

“It wasn't Kers' joke. More than half of the inhabitants died there.”

“Then?” the man tilted his head. Even a careless smile was imprinted on his lips. “Many survivors too. For example me,” says proudly.

“Kers.”

“Again that was the past. If it is revealed again, Revtel's mistakes will also be scattered. The nations have agreed to forget everything.”

“But those who lost are still grudges because of it.”

Kers was silent for a moment. “Then what do people want? The dead will not come back to life. We lost too, right? Even we lost three important people.”

“Some elders demand the truth.”

“For what?”

“Because of Algios' parents, can't believe it was just an accident. How could Mr Remus lose control? No one believes it, Kers. The lie is too obvious if only Aza and Revtel intervene to stop it, to the point of destroying and killing the surrounding people.”

“Lies? Even Blerda himself as a witness has admitted it. You parents are overdoing it to the point of not believing it.”

“Not believe it. But in that terrible fight, how could you not know about it? People suspect that you, Blerda and the remaining students, are lying to cover up the truth. They doubt you young leaders.”

Kers put his wine. Picking one and then throwing it up so it can be caught in his mouth. The old man could only look at him while waiting for a response from the young leader in front of him.

“Terusslah. I don't give a shit. If you want to let me down just do it. Even good because I can relax quietly,” he also chuckled. “But if Blerda? Siren would definitely think twice about doing so. After all, who is worse than him? Revtel and Lucian Brastok alone are afraid of him.”
