Her bare feet stepped. For some reason, the aroma of the mixture now tends to be rancid like blood. Toz was unable to make a sound, his body seemed petrified and his mouth was silent, staring at the figure with a footing that approached him.
Now, right in front of the eyes of a meter away the woman stood calmly looking at him. His amber eyes were completely suppressing the situation.
“Lagarise, that's my name. Whatis yourname? O son of man.”
But, what's going on? Toz's lips trembled, his heart rate was normal but it seemed as if his mouth had forgotten how to speak.
The woman, raised her hand and pointed it right in front of the young man's face. “Toz Nidiel,” finished saying that he smiled. “Why are they watching you?”
DEG!
But suddenly a strange impulse spewed from the young man's mouth. It was so painful and tight on his chest, that the hand holding his mouth was now bleeding from his loud cough.
Toz gasped, the blood coming out of his mouth was quite a lot and still dripping. She had no idea what was happening but her eyes were raised looking at the cold-faced woman in front.
“A-what happened?”
Lagarise. Touch the lower lip of Toz and gently wipe the surface. Slowly, the thumb of the right hand that was decorated with blood of the young man he licked with his leisure.
The man was wide-eyed, unable to believe the sight before his eyes. As if there was a slight disgust sensation tickling his stomach but still he ignored. “Actually where am I? Who's watching me?”
For some reason, Toz's mind control is so normal now. It seems like he understands the situation.
“Gate.”
At once, one word shook the young man's mind. Glancing around him, trying to re-understand his circumstances.
“Gate? Does that mean this is my gate of power? No, wait! Where are the man and his two dogs? I still want to meet him.”
The woman turned around, which surprised Toz and immediately intercepted him. However, his hand holding onto Lagarise's arm was like touching empty air.
It felt like he was holding nothing.
“Who are you really?!” now Toz's voice is louder. The woman ignored him, slowly walking to one of the empty seats still followed by the young man.
“Lagarise.”
That was the only word spoken when he had sat in one of the King's seats.
“That's a name! I mean who are you? Why can't I touch you?” then his arm was rubbed into his mouth to remove the remnants of blood.
Lagarise ignored him, her eyes just glued to the top of the altar where she had appeared from there. Slowly, he grinned thinly, inviting Toz's fearful gaze to approach him.
“Vanargand.”
Finished the name was echoed, a great tremor shook the entire area. Toz panicked and suddenly his strength disappeared and dropped his body. The wind moved quickly like a tsunami hit. The fire on the altar grew like it wanted to burn the area nearby, and the woman who called out the name remained silent on her throne.
“A-what is it?!” toz chuckled as he saw the wind blowing there begin to gather on the altar. Accompanied by a large fire whose height almost reached the height of the statues emblem of ability.
And a few seconds later a violent gust of wind struck the entire area that was cracking the feet of the five giant statues.
Toz jerking. In his fallen position sitting on the floor of the footing, his eyes caught an extraordinary figure.
Wolfs.
So big as an elephant, decorated with four amber eyes on his face and a deer horn on his head. The four legs as well as the tip of his tail, were like waving blue flames at each step.
The scary animal was now staring right at the quiet Lagarise.
“Se-s-se—”
“Vanargand,” the woman cut off Toz's greeting. And sure enough, the call invited the monstrous animal's steps to approach him. Replied with a smile and also the unusual eyes of the princess who was haughty in her gaze.
Toz Nidiel's breath hunting. His body trembled and was no longer able to make a sound. The footsteps of the large animal always vibrate the area every time he approaches. Now, right in front of Lagarise, the animal looked down obediently like asking for a caress.
“Vanargand.”
“Aaagh! S-sick! It hurts! It hurts! Help me!” pekiknya. But the howling of the wolf reverberated which made the young man bang his head in agony. This is very painful, because the body seems to be skinned alive.
“Why? What makes you more special?” the question slid free from Lagarise's lips without pity. His cold gaze, as if it did not care what happened. “Show me, the price is yours,” he said as he walked closer.
Toz who was still roaring in pain, just stared at calmly. His hand slowly clasped the head of the helpless young man and turned into a grabbing of him.
The human child could only wriggle and faintly stare at the figure who spoke through his bloody blurry gaze.
“S-sick,” lyrics Toz sobbing. He was crying because he could no longer feel it. For some reason, the shadow of death had approached his thoughts.
Lagarise smiled, one hand rising and strangling the young man's neck, to replace the hand that had grabbed his hair.
“What makes you valuable?”
Toz just stared at the pain. He was completely powerless and not strong to speak. The eyes of those who met each other were like describing each other's answers. Instantly, Lagarise swung her hand and threw out the young man's body.
Toz cried out in pain and stared at the ruthless figure with his quivering pupils. But what he saw was an unexpected sight. Lagarise pointed her hand at her own mouth as if pulling something from the top of her tongue.
A long sword appeared from inside and was thrown around. Spitting out the blue flames that enveloped the weapon was finally. The girl threw a sword in her hand right in front of the young man's body.
“The pain won't stop, before you kill the source.”
Toz was still unmoving, his eyes only staring at the talking figure. His blood flow was flowing endlessly from his eyes, nose, mouth and ears. It's really painful like wanting to kill him.
Lagarise. His hand was raised and pointed at the giant wolf who was still bowing its head. “Kill him, and your pain will fade instead.”
But Toz was still voiceless, only his net moved to highlight the monstrous animal. Like a pet dog told to sit by an employer. His eyes met the bead of amber.
“Even if it hurts, you must have a little energy to kill him right?” Lagarise. “Vanargand is the source of your pain. And your pain is Vanargand. Only one of you survived. Now kill him,” his orders.
Toz is still not moving. Although it feels like his body is able to be raised, but the sensation of pain is like nailing his head and legs so as not to do anything. And his eyes had not yet moved from the net of the wolf.
“K-why should I kill him?” the strand of the word finally came out after Toz gathered some energy. Unexpectedly finished saying that he spewed blood because of it.
“Vanargand is your pain, and your pain is Vanargand.”
“How can my pain be that of a wolf?” for some reason every sound of a cruel sensation throughout his body made his mouth spurt blood again. Toz was silent, if it continued like this soon he would definitely die from blood loss.
“Because this is a reality. To survive only one can survive. You or your pain. And I'll be a witness to that.”
“You're crazy.”
“Kill Vanargand.”
Toz shook his head, covering his mouth so as not to spit blood again. It felt like his chest was slashed as soon as he finished making a sound. It was so painful that he got used to it.
Slowly, his weak legs were forced to crawl. His hand reached for a step to drag his body, as Toz no longer wanted to deal with mad women.
He doesn't understand his position.
“Kill Vanargand,” Lagarise back up. Toz ignored that, and still dragged his body forcibly. “Speak kill Vanargand.” Now, the woman had stood right before him holding a sword. The tip of the sword pierced the back of Toz's right hand outstretched forward.
“Aaagh!” loud screeches break the night. Toz screams in pain because of Lagarise's madness. The more he roared, the more the girl turned the sword and stuck it there. The young man looked up and looked at him tormented.
“Kill Vanargand.”
“You're crazy.”
Lagarise. “What's the trouble with killing Vanargand? He's just a useless wolf.”
