“And what does that mean we're all going?”
“No. Only I'll go there. You guys I'll leave in the forbidden area.”
“Why?”
“Of course so that a respectable person like me does not have trouble getting caught wandering around with you.”
“That means our destination deviated from the agreement.”
Aza laughing. Slowly, his hand touched Reve's shoulder which was flat-faced to him. “Deflecting? If it wasn't for you guys acting on the Crystal Hill and boasting to Kers, then I wouldn't have to pay the price by being his errand boy.”
“Oh, does that mean this is all our fault?” asked Reve who was smiling sideways.
“Of course. So just obey this brother of yours, understand?” then the higher-up left with his casual steps.
On the first floor of the right-wing building, Toz Nidiel was preparing with Riz Alea. Aza said, their group will leave tomorrow. Both of them seemed to be repairing their worn-out shoes.
“My shoes are broken,” complained Toz.
“I too. Is it better we buy shoes or anything before leaving tomorrow?”
“But money from where, Riz?”
“Ah,” the young man immediately laughed clumsyly. True, they just become guiders, even his days run out just to climb the streets. How do I get money? Blue and green crystals have not been found.
Suddenly, the look in their eyes crossed with Izanami Forseti. Looking at each other, but Riz immediately gasped in shock and his body goosebumps.
“Riz, what's up?” toz asked, noticing the change in his expression.
However, the cold sweat poured down heavily as the blood controller walked over to them. Now, Toz was flabbergasted to see the charm Izanami emitted up close.
“Do not go with them.”
One sentence that makes both of them flinch.
“A-what do you mean?” tanya Toz doesn't understand. Unlike Riz who had already lowered his head in fear of him.
“Their goal is death. You are too young to waste your life for the sake of useless monster keys.”
The nervous Toz and Riz were jolted. “A-what do you mean? I don't understand.”
“Delarians and top brass. I don't know what they're offering you until you follow them. But, if still stubborn, only death will come to you.”
“Actually, who are you to speak so?”
“Izanami Forseti's. I know what you want until you come here.”
Toz. A moment of memory in the past approaches him. That's the familiar name Barca Asera once said to him and Reve, when they went to the high-ranking antiques shop.
“One who knows the key to Rey—” Toz was spontaneous immediately closed his mouth because of the shock felt. It seemed, because he had fainted for too long, he had missed a lot of information. “What it means Reve already—”
“You think the key-knowers will reveal what they are guarding easily? Even some have to bet their lives and disappear from the world to keep their mouths shut.”
The two young men were silenced. Izanami continued his words.
“You two are too young. An amateur guider who knows nothing about conflict in this world. You better go back to the human world and live right there. Rather than getting involved in a key or a monster that has nothing to do with it. Don't waste lives, son. Gods are not that good at giving second chances to people who have wasted them.”
And Izanami moved his body to get out of there. Leaving Toz and Riz still silent. Their minds, now in a state of confusion, digested the sharp and reasonable sentence that had been thrown out.
And Reve who passed by Izanami Forseti just silently glanced at him.
“Ah, Reve. You're here? What might—” Toz be too late to see the arrival of his friend.
“You guys okay?”
“Mm, yes,” nod Toz fast.
The snake youth's eyes swept over Riz Alea. “Come back to top. We must rest so that tomorrow is not exhausted.”
“Oh, okay,” Toz says while showing off his thumb.
Silent.
Now the people are asleep in their rest. Removing sleepiness so that you are okay.
In a large room, a right-wing area was devoted to the Aza Ergo group. There were five beds and each of them was bounded by a wooden partition wall. Comfortable place according to his traveling colleagues.
But, actually Izakiel the leader of Lagarise really felt bad. However, the room is not a place that wants to be presented to the Aza Ego group.
“You didn't sleep?” ask Aza Ergo suddenly.
The seated figure leaned against the iron barrier while gently stroking his beloved snake, only taking a quick glance at it. I don't care and choose to ignore.
Long enough for the two of them to be silent while accompanied by the cold of the night. Hugged by the wind that sometimes hit, even occasionally it made Near squirm uncomfortable.
“I thought, we better go find the key.”
Aza Ergo turned her head suddenly. A moment later turned back to look at the expanse of scenery in front of the eyes. “Why?”
“It is useless to carry the load with us.”
“Bobs?”
“This journey, more likely to follow my purpose, you, and Horusca. So there's no need to bring anything else that has nothing to do with us.”
“So?”
“Ya.”
“So you want us to split.”
“I just don't like to carry useless loads.”
“Or you're afraid they'll get hurt because of your crazy plan.”
“I'm not that kind of person.”
Aza Ergo chuckles. “Yes. You're so unkind that you want to kill Izanami who hurt that protector. Well, even if you're dying.”
Reve was silent not responding to it. Slowly, there was a snoring from Near the snake.
“Alright, then tomorrow I will tell them. It's better this way, so no one dies in vain because we,” with a thin smile and leave from there.
And Reve also put his body in position while closing his eyes.
“What!”
Doxia's loud screech seemed to be blaring inside the room.
Aza Ergo only smiled after saying what she wanted. Contrary to the expression of some people due to shock of his words.
“Now you're throwing us away?!” furious Doxia.
“Ya.”
“After everything that happened?!”
“Of course!”
“You—” the man pointed at the face of the high-ranking man who looked annoying.
“T-but why?” ask Toz at last. “Didn't we agree to go together?”
“Indeed. But are you sure that's what you want?” tukas Aza with its leisure. “My aim, that snake boy and the plant, is to do with life. Are you sure you're following us who might die in the middle of the road?”
People there are silent too.
“But our deal—” cut Rexcel suddenly.
“What deal? I've given the scroll for free to you. Take it easy, anyways old Criber won't know, right? Because I stole it.”
“Then how do we? Didn't you say you needed my help to be a protector?” Riz.
Aza smiled. “Indeed. But, I also can't rely on amateur protectors who can't protect themselves.”
Jerked. Riz felt stupefied at hearing his sentence. Pain but it cannot be expressed.
“Hei! Aren't you so insolent?! Even if you're a senior, you can't decide everything at will after pulling him here. You invited him to work together, didn't you?!” emotions Doxia.
“Ya, then? I say this also for your own good. We better split up here. Take it easy, if you need a hiding place due to the status of a fugitive, I will immediately prepare it. Because I have a lot of connections here.”
