Demon Laws
Chapter 24: Satan the Illusion of Fear

This sight is a bit strange.

Dewey was standing there. The wounds on his body look terrible. The bloody hole in his chest almost penetrated backwards. He did not feel his blood flowing.

Dewey walked a few steps. Under the situation everyone was stunned, a griffin approached again then dropped Dewey. His body was clawed by griffin sharp nails, then blood spurted.

“Master!”

Robert's eyes reddened, then he rushed towards Dewey without thinking of anything. Dewey's small body had stood up and staggered. He's still smiling. At a time like this, Dewey could still smile happily. It made the people there feel an undescribed strangeness.

This little young man raised his head, saw the flying griffin then said, “If this is a dream you created, I've had enough of it. If you can, end this dream!”

Robert rushed towards Dewey, the sword in his hand turned into light and then attacked a griffin closest to Dewey. This loyal knight detonated all of his profound energy, which even exceeded the capabilities of his body. The body of the knight was huge, every one of his muscles were bursting out, as if they were going to bleed.

A sword with deep energy pierced through the sky and hit the hard bristles of griffin, making a griffin fall.

Robert hugged Dewey, gave his back to the griffin.

“Robert.” Dewey. He smiled while bleeding. “Listen, we've been bullied. It's all fake.” He pointed at the wound on his body and smiled. “See, ordinary people are dead if injured like this. But...”

Robert is not a fool. He also realized the awkwardness. A child as weak as Dewey was badly injured but did not die. Even strong warriors, might have become a corpse if injured like this.

“My spiritual power is stronger than ordinary people, so I cannot be deceived by this dream created.” Dewey gasps. “Unfortunately, I don't know how to destroy this dream. It may be some kind of spiritual magic or illusion.”

“Illusions..” Robert thought for a moment then roared, “Solskjaer! Mr Solskjaer!”

The witch, who was protected by the soldiers, replied when she heard herself being summoned.

Robert carried Dewey away, dodging the attack of a griffin. Wounds increased on his back, even the armor was torn and covered in blood.

“Think of ways! Master says that we are using some sort of illusion magic,” cried Robert.

Solskjaer is drenched in sweat. After all, she was not a real witch. Moreover, the magic he had imitated with the pharmaceutical opportunistic method was simply fireball techniques. He did not know much about spiritual magic.

Robert has brought Dewey back. Solskjaer said in a loud voice. “I have no other way. Destroying illusions.I guess we can finish off these creatures, like we spent fire rhinos and Demonic Wolves earlier.”

Robert could not help but curse. “Omong empty! If we have that ability, then need to say!”

Dewey suddenly laughed and said, “Robert, I asked you. Listen, every imperial knight who practices inner strength has his own weak point. Where is your weak point?”

“...” Robert stunned. He did not expect that his master would ask such a question.

“Quick say,” say Dewey low. “I have a way.”

Each knight who practiced inner strength had their own point of weakness. When a knight used deep power, his physical strength could be several times stronger. However, the point of weakness was the most important secret of every knight. How can it be said?

Robert lowered his head to look at his bloodied master at a glance. Robert gritted his teeth before saying, “There is in. my right chest, under the fourth rib.”.

After that a strange flash appeared in Dewey's eyes. With energy out of nowhere, this weak child suddenly came out of Robert's arms. He quickly pulled out the dagger tied at the knight's feet, then stabbed Robert in the chest.

Robert could dodge, but as a loyal knight and retainer of the Rollin family, he only hesitated for a moment. After all, this attack was not from the enemy, but from his master.

The armor on the chest had been destroyed in the fight earlier. A cold dagger pulled out Robert's third rib to his right. Robert could even feel the taste of a cold dagger piercing through the muscles.

Everyone was stunned to see the master suddenly unsheathed the knight with a dagger.

Robert was most surprised. The knight looked at the little master in front of him, he had not expected that the person, whom he had faithfully protected, would do this to him. But Dewey's gaze was very calm, even inclined to be relaxed.

“Quiet, Robert. I won't harm you, it's just a nightmare.”

Dewey said in a low voice, Robert groaned, squeezed, then gave up on resisting.

Robert closed his eyes and fell.

Just as everyone exclaimed, Dewey stood up. The dagger in his hand was still dripping blood. As all the soldiers of the Rollin family looked at him with buying eyes, Dewey smiled and threw away the dagger in hand. “Dreams end.”

The Griffins in the sky howled as Dewey's daggers unsheathed the knights' chests, then they rushed towards Dewey from all directions.

His nails and sharp teeth seemed to want to tear Dewey apart.

Everyone closed their eyes. Everyone thought they were going to die this time.

But something strange is happening at this moment.

A griffin that approached Dewey first, suddenly became light, then all the griffins froze in the air. Luminous gaps appeared on their bodies.

Later, hush….

Everyone looked down, not daring to see that light. Only Dewey straightened his body, looking at the oddity in the sky with a cold smile on his face.

A griffin shattered and melted, turning into dust and being blown away in the light.

Later, bombs! Everything is back in silence.

The forest is still forest.

The sky is still the sky.

The mountain is still the mountain.

The sunset is still the sunset.

The blood on the ground disappeared. The bodies that were torn apart also disappeared.

Replaced by people lying in a mess. Knight Spann and his subordinates, as well as the soldiers of the Rollin family who had ‘mati’. They closed their eyes, but it was certain that they were still alive.

It's just fainting.

Dewey looked at his body. The bloody wounds there had also disappeared.

Robert lay down on his side of the leg. What was surprising was that this knight was also unharmed.

Neither the wounds from the battle nor Dewey's stab, they're all gone.

Her clothes are fine. The only thing visible was a scratch on the armor around the third rib on the right side of his chest. That's the part Dewey stabbed earlier. How could a weak youngster who had no martial ability be able to break through armor? At best it leaves only a mark.

Dewey patted Robert's face hard to resuscitate him.

Robert opened his eyes and saw the master staring at him. Dewey smiled wryly. “Sorry, I had to do it earlier. You are the source of this fantasy. All griffins are memories of your terrifying experience. He is created from illusions in your heart. So I can only make you faint in a dream. After you pass out, the source of the illusion will disconnect and then disappear.”

The prick Dewey gave Robert earlier was also only in a dream.

The Rollin family soldiers standing there also looked at their bodies and comrades in surprise. They did not understand what means this little master had used to make those terrifying monsters and the wounds on their bodies disappear.

The dead comrades, even the shredded corpses were lying in fine condition on the ground.

Only Joline, the female knight, was injured.

The wound on Joline's hand was real. He used the secret techniques of the Moon tribe; the magic-destroying realm.

His secret technique could destroy all magic. He had come out of this dream while using such a secret technique. Therefore his wound ‘truth’.

I can't explain too much. Only Solskjaer the witch understands. Although the magic is not very great, the theory about magic being mastered is very broad. He immediately took out a medicine to bandage the fainted hand of the female knight.

Dewey picked up the dagger from the floor and took a quick look. “A drop of blood does not exist.”

He brought the dagger forward. Right now everyone just realized that something was moving in the front grass.

It is the size of a large mouse and is light green in color. It is very difficult to find in the middle of the grass if not carefully viewed.

Dewey approached, making this creature terrified. His movements are very slow. As he exited the grass and tried to escape, the dagger in Dewey's hand floated, nailing him to the floor. Dewey stepped forward and stepped on him.

Everyone then saw clearly. This little creature is round, the body behind its green fur is like a ball. The tail is big like a squirrel.

In fact, this creature is similar to a squirrel, except for its strange green fur.

Besides, there was a small horn on his forehead. These horns were not bones like other animals, but were shiny like crystals.

Dewey stepped on his tail. This little creature thrashed and chanted, he let out a voice of pain. Suddenly, a beam of light shot out from the horn on his head and hit Dewey.

Dewey did not feel pain by this light, but he suddenly felt many memories popping into his mind.

The fear?

Yeah, as if remembering the thing he was most afraid of in life.

It was as if something was scanning his memory. The fearful memories that did not come from this world, the old ones, were dismantled. Dewey shook his head strongly.

She's upset.

Since coming to this world, Dewey who was always flat-faced, now looked violent. Fires of anger flared in his eyes.

Dewey looked at this little creature coldly, then he bowed and said in a terrifying voice. “Why? You're looking for my fear? You will be disappointed then.”

Stretching out his hand, Dewey catches the creature. His fingers gripped the neck of the little creature tightly, lifting it up. Dewey approached her then said in a low voice. “You can read other people's fears, then you should understand my words, right? I'm telling you, don't use that trick on me. Even though I have fears, my fears are not in this world. You can create a dream, but it should be limited to the rules of this world. So sorry, because I don't belong to this world.”

The little creature thrashed, the light on the horn on his forehead continuing to hit Dewey. However, finally his eyes showed fear and despair. Because the light is magic to create illusions. But it doesn't affect this guy.

“Mr...”.

Just as Dewey was feeling angry, the happy voice of the witch sounded from behind.
