Demon Laws
Chapter 54: Master Vivian

“True, I am the teacher of Vivian.”

The old witch raised her finger and hooked, Dewey suddenly felt his hand empty. The magic scroll he had hidden in his pocket was suddenly in the hands of an old witch.

“See, this magic scroll is my made.” The old witch took a quick look at it, then put it into her robe. “Return to re-owner.”

“You ... you came to ask for Vivian.” goods Dewey smiled wryly.

“At first it was my goal, but after seeing you, I changed my mind.” The old witch smiled.

Dewey tiba-tiba memiliki firasat buruk. Sayangnya, ketika berdiri dari kursi, dia merasa tubuhnya terasa ringan.

Without reciting the spell, the old witch hooked a finger at Dewey, Dewey's body instantly becoming stiff, hanging and frozen in the air.

In addition to his moving eyes, Dewey felt himself like a piece of hanging meat.

“Listen, Nak.” The old witch suddenly reached out to touch Dewey's head. “It seems I did not see wrong. Your head has something interesting. Do you rely on that to use magic?”

This time Dewey's eyeballs didn't move.

How did he know?!

“My cute little murid came out once, as a result of all his stuff being cheated, almost died on a remote island, and lost his dragon.” The tone of the old witch sounded mocking. “After returning home, I even found that a little memory of my poor little disciple was erased with magic. As a responsible teacher, I have to do something, right?”

The old witch shook her hands, Dewey could immediately speak. “You ... You don't think I did it, do you?”

“Hard to say. At first I didn't think so.” An imperceptible light flashed in the eyes of the old witch. “But, you are a child of the Rollin family descendant who originally had no magic talent, suddenly used magic. I think it must have something to do with that remote island.”

Dewey looked at the old witch meticulously, wanting to find out about something. However, the following sentence from the old witch made all of Dewey's words swallowed back.

“Oh yes, how is Chris?”

This time Dewey's expression completely changed.

He could have known the demon waitress, Chris!

The next morning, the servants panicked because their little Young Master had disappeared.

On the terrace where Young Master Dewey rests there is a note with Dewey's handwriting.

I was taken away by a witch.

It was written by Dewey himself. He did not use the word ‘culik’, but rather ‘taken away an ambiguous’.

Moreover, it is obvious that Dewey wrote the letter with the permission of the witch who took Dewey away.

Because not only is Dewey's signature there, but there's a symbol too.

Everyone did not understand the symbol, finally the only witch in the castle, Solskjaer, who understood.

“It looks like this is a personal sign of a witch.” Solskjaer thought for a moment. “Some old witches are used to using this kind of thing as a signature. We can find out who this signature belongs to in the Magic Union.”

The thing that made the entire castle inhabitants tense up was Dewey being taken away by a witch. It's only been over a month since the incident she was kidnapped by a witch last time.

May grudges arise between the Rollin family and the witch because of the last incident? That witch kidnapped Young Master Dewey again in revenge?

This matter was directly reported to Earl Raymond.

Surprisingly, after the symbols on the note were brought to the Magic Union, the Magic Union was silent.

Even the initially wrathful Earl Raymond learned that his eldest son was again taken away by the witch – at least whatever liking he had towards his son, he was once again taken away by the witch, the actions of the witch who kidnapped her child twice could be considered as a provocation against the Rollin – family after seeing the symbol, her anger instantly disappeared, she said, then he just kept quiet and did not bring a single word to the outside world.

Unlike the first time Dewey was kidnapped by a witch, this time both the Rollin family and the Magic Union were silent. Both sides pressured it like they had something in common.

Anxious Solskjaer finally gets a word from someone in charge of selling magic materials in the Magic Union.

“The symbol of the witch who took away the Young Master of the Rollin family belonged to a powerful sorcerer who did not even dare to be harassed by the Magic Union. He was not in any records nor documents in the Magic Union. Let alone taking your Lord Mudamu away, even if His Majesty's son the Emperor is taken away, His Majesty can also only be silent.”

Dewey's really upset right now.

First, he did not know what kind of magic the old man applied to him. Dewey felt his body no longer belonged to him alone.

This is a strange ‘kidnapping’ incident.

Dewey's mind, consciousness, brain were his own, but his body was controlled by an old witch.

Like now.

The old witch was sitting quietly in the grass and leaning against a tree, watching Dewey busy making fire.

Dewey had already cursed the old man repeatedly inwardly, but he could do nothing.

Since the old man only said “lit fire” to him, Dewey saw himself standing up, collecting branches and lighting a bonfire, blowing smoke to a cough. Despite his anger, he lost control of his body.

He was like a puppet that fully obeyed the words of an old witch.

The old witch took out a cloth bag from under her robe. The little cloth bag was definitely a magic tool as well because the old witch took out a lamb leg, a bottle of good wine, even a new set of clothes, and a few bottles.

The cloth bag seemed to fill a lot of things.

The old witch then gave the order. “Bake!”

This is torture.

Dewey initially cursed with emotion, but the old witch punished him easily. He only saw Dewey at a glance, then said, “Slap mouth.”

Then Dewey saw his hand raised and slapped his own mouth.

After slapping five to six times, Dewey could only endure it. Although inwardly cursing almost all of the old witch ancestors, she did not dare to say anything more.

After the old witch was full, she saw Dewey who was rolling his eyeballs at the side, suddenly smiling. “You're quite skilled. I haven't eaten barbecue this long.”

Dewey immediately turned the eyeball.

“Now sleep.” The old witch ended the conversation, then turned her back, leaned against the tree trunk and closed her eyes.

Dewey though?

He did not want to sleep, but his body was controlled by someone else. He could only let his body stretch his waist, then lie down and close his eyes.

How he tried, his eyes still could not open, he also could not sit.

Because the old witch's orders are sleep.

What the fuck? Dewey felt like he had turned into a computer in his previous life. Once put into the program, it will be executed no matter if he is willing.

The old witch took Dewey on a journey north for five consecutive days.

That night, the old witch took Dewey flying from the castle, then walked towards the north. A day later, as the two passed by a small town, the old witch told Dewey to buy two horses.

Dewey couldn't rebel, let alone run away. Other than his thoughts, his body belonged to an old witch.

Dewey asked the old witch what magic was applied to her.

The old witch did not answer.

Dewey also asked, “Why do you know Chris? Do you know him? You know that little island?”

The old witch did not answer.

Dewey asked, “Where are we going?”

The old witch did not answer either.

Dewey's almost crazy.

Traveling all day, especially riding a long-distance horse, was really a difficult test for Dewey whose physical fitness was ordinary. His thin and weak body was already unable to bear it, but the old witch had no intention of letting go.

“Should we ride a horse?” Dewey finally couldn't stand it. “Isn't a great wizard like you able to fly anywhere you want?”

This time the old witch finally answered.

“The place we are going to visit is very special. Flying long distances will take care of my magic power. I have to maintain magic power before I get there.”

It was the only question Dewey answered by the old witch.

Dewey is moody because he can't call Semel.

He knew that Semel must have been by his side, but the magical creature showed absolutely no nostrils.

The more it goes north, the cooler it gets. The Rollin Plain is in the south of a warm climate. Dewey was wearing a thin shirt. After a few days, Dewey clearly felt that the weather was very cold. His hands froze, he trembled while riding a horse.

Finally the old witch showed her mother's taste. He taught Dewey some strange moves and had Dewey do them once every day before the break.

The movements were like gymnastics movements in his previous life, but more bizarre. There are some postures that require the body to bend skillfully and are difficult to do. However, under the orders of the old witch, even if Dewey was in pain until his tears almost came out, his body still carried out the orders of the old witch.

Surprisingly, the movements had an effect. Every time Dewey finished, he felt warm. The warm feeling drives away the cold.

Every day doing those strange moves, Dewey felt his body was much stronger than before.

On the twentieth day, they arrived in the northern region of the mainland. The weather there is several times cooler than the south. There were no plants around, all covered in snow.

The north wind hit his face like it was slashed by a knife. The road is getting harder and harder to get through.

They're having a snowstorm.

Snow covered the path so that the horse could not pass through it, and was as high as a thigh when stepped on.

Finally the good old witch. They looked for a small town and stayed in an inn. The old witch left Dewey in the room, then came out.

Dewey could not escape because the old witch gave the command, “Sit, do not move and make a sound.”

The old witch returned at dusk and carried a large bag. He opened the bag containing a thick leather jacket, leather armor, a sheepskin hat, tall boots for walking in the snow, and a sword in front of Dewey.

“Wear. We'll leave.” The orders of the old witch were very simple.

“Where will we go?” Dewey asked again.

This time the old witch finally replied, “Frozen Forest.”
