Demon Laws
Chapter 36: Open Sesame

Dewey felt his head clad in something soft when he woke up. He felt his entire body ache, as if it was being torn apart by some force. Every muscle and joint feels pain.

Dewey opened his eyes with great difficulty.

The first thing that made him sigh in relief was that his two friends were still by his side.

Dewey's head was wrapped in Joanna's thigh, while Vivian was face down in Dewey's arms, her head under Dewey's chin.

At the same time Dewey woke up, his two female friends also opened their eyes.

“Where are we? Have we been swallowed by monsters?” Joanna massaged her head, then she soon discovered that Dewey's head was on her thigh, as she screamed, “What are you doing! Move!”

Finished speaking, Joanna turned her body firmly, Dewey immediately rolled up.

Dewey needed a lot of effort to stand up. He rubbed the muscles of his two sore thighs. It felt really uncomfortable, like a tense muscle.

“Why are you so panicked? I was not accidentally too.” Dewey had a glimpse of Joanna. This woman had sat down and pulled Vivian up without heeding Dewey.

Poor little Vivian was still in a daze.

The bodies of the three of them were wet, sticky hair. Dewey was still mending, but the two girls looked awful.

Joanna was lucky because she was wearing a perforated armor that added magic. Poor little Vivian is the unlucky one. Her witch robes had been company-side-by-side while on a remote island for a few days, then Dewey tore them apart and used them to remember the raft. Currently little Vivian was only wearing clothes that wrapped tightly around her body.

This outfit was okay, but after getting wet by the sea water, it became inappropriate.

These clothes were obviously too thin, and to make matters worse, the women of this world did not wear anything that the women of the world Dewey came from.

Bra.

After being submerged in water, thin clothes stuck to Vivian's body and plagiarized her body shape. Especially the upper body of the witch girl.

Dewey only caught a glimpse and became unfocused.

Although this magical girl was too innocent and still childish, her body was already grown. The chest that had grown was clearly imprinted on the back of his clothes. Fatally again, Vivian's clothes were light-colored. If Dewey stared in more detail, he could vaguely see the tapered.

Despite being in danger, Dewey could not help but fantasize. Upon seeing Vivia's dazed face, he sighed. “Aish... what a pity..”.

“What you saw!” However Joanna was more mature than Vivian, she immediately realized Dewey's point of view. He pulled his sister, then glared at Dewey. “Brother perverted, I will pry your eyes if you look carelessly again.”

Dewey did not refute, but turned his face away and researched the surroundings.

This place is definitely a cave.

Two steps from where they lay was the sea. Judging from this point, Dewey concluded that they might be in an underwater cave. Because of the unique landform, in this cave there is no sea water.

A faint light flickered faintly on the cave wall. Dewey and the others just saw clearly.

Dewey reached out to touch the cave wall, but found a piece of coarse particle. Inside these particles, there was a small, pebble-like object emitting light.

“Night Pearl? No, as small as this should not be the Night Pearl.” Dewey pulled his hand back.

Dewey's common knowledge in his previous life told him that crystals or minerals that could emit light themselves were harmful radiation. Not good for humans.

“What do you touch?” ask Joanna who's in the back.

“Observing landform,” Dewey replied. “We should feel lucky not to die. We must have had that monster attack earlier. But I don't understand how we got here.”

“A-a-a-I think maybe I know,” said Vivian shyly, with a red hue on her face. He did not dare to look at Dewey. Although innocent, she was a teenage-year-old girl so more or less understood Dewey's gaze when he looked at her chest earlier.

Dewey looked towards Vivian, Joanna immediately cleared her throat loudly. Before Dewey spoke, he asked, “What do you know?”

“P-whirlpool,” Vivian says while making gestures. “T-so I felt like ba-that we were swept to the s-here by the whirlpool.”

Dewey. “Is it just a coincidence? Whirlpools do not sweep us elsewhere, but usher us into this cave, not let us drown to death?” Dewey's expression looked complicated. “I can't believe if this is just a coincidence.”

“I guess if we want to get out, we have to jump from this tunnel, then swim following the sea water.” Dewey concluded.

“Then know so better stay on the island!” Joanna observed for a while and came to the same conclusion as Dewey. He's feeling pissed. “At least there is still water and rhizomes to eat on the island. And here? There are only stones here!”

“But of course. At least there's still oxygen here, we don't run out of air. That means there's a way out, it's just that we haven't found it.” Dewey.

“Oxygen? What is oxygen?” Joanna frowning.

Dewey was speechless. It was indeed rather difficult to explain about the chemistry of oxygen to the people in this magical world. Dewey answered as he could and immediately changed the topic. “We have to think of an idea. Can you use magic?”

The two female witches shook their heads, disconnecting Dewey's idea.

“What should we do now?”

Joanna asked.

After living on the island for a few days, the two girls subconsciously regard the smallest Dewey as the leader. Joanna was also dependent on this young man. After all, Dewey was the calmest among the three of them. Making plans go, looking for food and water, all the important things were done by him. He was also the one who had either intentionally or unintentionally taken care of them.

What's to be done?

Dewey really had no idea.

He's not a god. Being cooped up in a place where there was nothing, what idea could he have?

Dewey felt he could not even smile wryly. He wanted to shout to vent, as he also felt depressed.

But seeing that the two girls were looking at him, especially Vivian who seemed to believe him, Dewey sighed.

Reviewing the forced smile, Dewey comforted them as much as possible. “No need to worry. God didn't let us die and bring us to this place, that means we won't die here. There must be a way.”

Dewey sighed silently, approached the cave wall and touched it with a smile. “We must rest first to recover power. Then...” Dewey couldn't continue. “Then. Hey, do you guys want to hear the story?”

Joanna pursed her lips, she wasn't as innocent as Vivian. He also knew that Dewey had run out of ideas in this desperate condition. But looking at the slightly trembling Vivian, Joanna sighed without saying anything.

If you have to die here, just die. His heart had carried an obsession for too long and was already quite depressed. Maybe dying is a kind of release.

Joanna was busy with her thoughts. Vivian had left her side and was looking at Dewey expectantly. “C-what story?”

“Stories...” Dewey smiled then said, “I've heard stories about robbers and treasure. Once upon a time, a young man named Alibaba.”.

Dewey tells the story of the famous “Fourth Thieves” in his previous life. Lastly, he smiled as he pointed at the wall in front. “See, who knows the Gods will also give us miracles. Who knows if you touch the top, then shout ‘open sesame’, a door will appear on this wall. Then we can get out.”

Vivian thought for a moment with her head lowered. When he lifted his head, the face of this magical girl was covered in tears. He said in a soft voice. “Dewey, you... comfort me, right?”

Dewey was silent. Under these conditions, she could only caress Vivian's hair.

Vivian suddenly raised her face and tried to smile, then said with a stutter. “Dewey said there was an idea.. then definitely! W-we can try one-on-one! It can definitely work! Let's start da-from ‘open this sesame’!”

A cute smile appeared on the face of this foolish girl even though her eyes were still glazed over. Then he actually raised his hand, knocked on the upper wall, then muttered with his sweet and crisp voice. “B-open.. s-wesame...”.

Dewey suddenly felt sad. Does this cute girl have to die here too?

But God seems to want to play with him.

Before Dewey's tears came out….

After Vivian says ‘open sesame’....

The walls of this cave suddenly swayed. Yes, the hard cave walls suddenly opened.

A thin old hand stretched out from the cave wall, appearing in front of Dewey and the others. Just as the three pairs of eyes were about to pop out, an old, weak and almost disconnected voice, sounded from the cave. “Finally…. Login.”
