Chapter 62. Star Spirit

"Lian.." call the Stars here and there looking for his wife because she woke up and found Diamond was not there beside her. 

"The spark must have gone to work" the star muttered in disappointment and sat weakly by the bedside after his search found no results from the bathroom to the balcony. His condition that is more fit on appeal last night is felt weak because his life spirit is not at all visible. 

"you can't do it. Take a day off so you can take care of me. I want you to pay attention to my situation like last night because it's your concern that makes me feel closer to you again." The star suddenly becomes spoiled if it remembers how Diamond took care of it and kept it last night. It was very reassuring for him. 

"Hhhmmm.I better take a shower, and then follow Lian to her place of work." The stars return to spirit. He quickly stood up and grabbed a towel and went into the bathroom.

Rangga's face was so tangled. His opportunity to take advantage of the condition of the less healthy Star to get closer to himself with the Diamond did not work. Though he had already dreamt of following Diamond, cutting off his path, then taking her away as far as possible. But because Mama Farida suddenly joined the office in place of Bintang, Rangga was forced to undo his intention because Mama Farida chose to leave with him rather than departing between drivers. 

"Ma, why the hell mama leaving must be with Rangga?. Why don't you go between Asep's mang?" Rangga spilled his teeth on mama Farida who sat sweetly beside him. 

"Kok you said that?. Don't you like your mom going to the office with you?" mama farida asked back. 

"It's not ma. Rangga is just afraid mama is not comfortable because I would like to speed if the streets are quiet again" he argued to give an excuse. 

"That's not good, son. Mama does not want you to get why-why because of your own carelessness" advises mama Farida with her affection. 

"Yes I know exactly" answered Rangga as he continued to observe the road in front of him which was full of vehicles passing by because of the time people started his activity. 

"oh yeah, ma. Mama actually felt that the relationship of the Star with the Diamond was never harmonious?. Is it possible that their household can survive if they continue to fuss?" Rangga deliberately diverted the subject and tried to influence the woman who had worked so hard to raise him since his adoptive parents died in an accident that also claimed the life of his biological father Bintang. 

"His name is also household. Every household is not always decorated with smiles, sometimes there are also disputes that cannot be avoided. "Mama don't misunderstand me. Aky just wants the best for the Stars and I want the Stars to be happy because I have suffered so much because of me. I'm so sorry and so eager to make amends for all the mistakes by hoping Star can make her best mate" rangga said quickly and smartly looking for a reasonable answer and it seems like mama Farida just believes it by not continuing her suspicions.

"If the Moon were still alive, she would be about the same age as a Diamond" he recalls.

The star sits alone on the dining table chair and eagerly eats the Diamond's artificial pulp.

"Enak.." he said satisfied with the taste of artificial porridge Diamond. The star finished the porridge without any residue. After that I took the medicine .

Even though Berlian does not work for Kartika, Berlian still ask permission of his best friend who is busy with his laptop.

"You have to take care of the store. I can go alone. The place is also not far away" continued Berlian gave an excuse so that Kartika was not offended by his refusal. 

"Yes already. You're careful" Kartika's message goes hand in hand with her big smile that is returned with a smile by Diamond.

"I go first. Assalamualaikum.." pamit Berlian said hello after tidying his desk. 

"waalaikumsalam" Kartika answered the greeting while observing the back of her friend who was away and slowly disappeared from her sight. 

"Lian why do you have to be the woman who is editing stars to be his wife?. Why not someone else?. Honestly, I actually can't meet you all the time because it just reminds me of my hidden love for the Stars" Kartika complained bitterly about the pain of unrequited love.
