Chapter 81. Threats

The heavy hand never gave a hug to the woman in front of him. The woman in the hug also looks so peaceful leaning on the shoulder of the field of the man. A sense of security and protection in a warm embrace inside the woman after the bad incident that happened to her last afternoon. An event that almost took his life. It was also the incident that made the Star aware that her fear of losing Diamonds outweighed the fear of losing anything she had in her life. 

From the bad incident this afternoon, there is an odd thing that makes the Star have to think hard to find out who the man is meant by some witnesses who had seen the diamond quarrel and pulled on the river bank until the Diamond was washed away river current. And why does Diamond seem to cover up the real events from him?. 

"Lian, you just tell me who exactly was the man who tried to harm you this afternoon?. Don't be afraid because I'll protect you if that man tries to harm you again" for the umpteenth time the Star asks the same question and tries to convince the woman in her arms that she will never let anything bad happen to her again. 

"Your..." Diamonds shuffled and sat face to face with her husband on their bed. Diamond tried to grab and hold her husband's hand with a soothing shady look. 

"I told you, no one wants to hurt me. I'm careless I can't keep my body balance when I play on the river. I should have thought of what you said not to approach the river" 

"Then who is the man whom the plantation laborers saw fighting and pulling your hand violently?. The laborer may not dare to lie to me" but Bintang does not believe just with the information coming out of the diamond because he already understands that diamonds are not the type of dissident wife. 

Diamond tried to calm down and smile. He knows it's not easy to lie to a star who has a strong instinct to recognize the threats around him. And it is not difficult for him to honestly admit what the real events are like and who really wants to harm him. But Diamond does not want a commotion between Bintang and Rangga that can muddy the fraternal relationship that is not good. Diamond also did not want until her mother-in-law was increasingly depressed and sad to think about the relationship of her son and nephew who had difficulty making peace. 

"We don't have to talk about this anymore. I don't want to remember what happened this afternoon anymore" 

The star took a heavy breath and nodded in disappointment as the diamond still did not want to open the voice of the mysterious man who tried to harm him. The star also did not want to force him to tell the real events like what was important for him is that the diamond survived and his condition is still fresh in shape even though his smooth forehead must be in a bandage covering the wound that bump. About the mysterious man he could find out for himself. 

"Sooner or later I'll know who the bastard is trying to harm you is. And the man will never be able to live quietly" said Bintang inwardly determined to make calculations with the mysterious man.

"what about your head?. Still dizzy?" The star turned his attention and gently stroked his wife's fine hair. 

Diamond shook her head and hugged her husband's body. It was in that embrace that every peace and protection flow calmed his fear of all the threats that came crashing. Without a doubt the star hugged and landed a kiss unfortunately greeted his crown. Peace and security are becoming more real. 

"Oh yes, Mama had told me that you actually can't swim. But when you drift, you can swim and save me. Not that you were traumatized by the river and you used to drown in the lake?" Diamond questions the thing that makes him confused and curious why stars can dare and recklessly save him. 

"what are you telling me about my trauma?" The star became frightened and panicked in case her mother told her many things about the childhood events that took her mother's life of diamonds.

"mama is just that story" replied Diamond briefly and enough to make the Star can breathe a sigh of relief. 

"sorry Lian, I haven't been able to be honest about that. I'm afraid that you're gonna hate me, really, I can't. Sooner or later you'll find out."

"Bin... Why daydream?"

"You haven't answered my question yet" recalled Diamond while still hugging the Star.

"Your color means so much in my life, Ian" replied the Star quietly.  Diamond looked up again and looked at her husband with a look of disbelief at what she heard and the magic words spoken Star when she was unconscious tickled her soul wanting to know what was happening he heard it was true or it was just a fantasy of his subconscious. 

"When I didn't wake up, I heard you say something. May I know what you said back then because what you said just now faintly sounded in my ear?" 

The star held its breath and did not know how to repeat the honest words that came out from the bottom of his heart. 

"I'm..." The star tried to speak, but his tongue was too faint to continue what other words he had to say. 

"I what?" ask Diamond with a face waiting expectantly. 

The star was completely at a loss for words, he did not know how to set his tongue to obey his heart's cues. 

"I love you, Lian" whispered the star as he lowered his head and gently pressed his wife's neck to get closer and closer. 

"I love you" he whispered again right on the lip of the diamond, then touched and controlled the red lips gently. Spontaneous hand Diamond pampered pulling her husband's neck until the two lay down together on a soft bed. The star is eager and passionate to kiss the lips of Diamond lovingly and it continues to be full of peace. For the second time a drowning married couple relished to repeat their beautiful story in the villa room where they first fulfilled their rights and duties with full awareness without coercion. Same with what they do now.

It was hard for Rangga to close his eyes. Fear had struck his soul about what he had done to allow diamonds to drift in the river and not to help the woman who had once filled his heart. What's more he's also heard the Stars managed to save the Diamond. What about his fate if Diamond complained to the Star that he was the cause of his drift. The stars would definitely instantly finish him off mercilessly. 

"Damn..." Rangga got up and sat down while pulling his own hair. 

"the stars can't know that I caused the diamond to almost lose its life in the river. I have to go to the diamond and have him shut up. I don't care how I got to meet the diamond tonight before it's too late" he said.  Since Berlian married with Bintang, Berlian changed his mobile number so that Rangga really lost.

Rangga then stood up to grab his wallet and car keys, then rushed out of the room.

From the living room came the voice of Farida's mother arguing with a man. Rangga slowed his pace and hid behind a wall. Rangga put up his hearing well because it seems that what is being debated is very beneficial for him. 

"Sorry mas erwin, I can not obey the will of mas erwin to separate them. Stars are so happy to be married to diamonds and I can't possibly destroy my son's happiness. All my life, only this time I saw how happy and passionate the star lived his life. And all that because of diamonds, not Kartika" mama farida without hesitation refused the will of her guests who were none other than her biological father Kartika, the sister of her late second husband. 

"Farida, I'm not messing with my wishes. Immediately ask Bintang to divorce the woman and then want to accept her match with Kartika" pressed erwin sir still on his unreasonable ego. 

"Or I will legally imprison the star for the incident that took the life of my late sister 10 years ago" continued Mr. Erwin threatened and opened the old memory that made mama Farida aghast. 

"Mas, it's been going on for a long time. The incident just happened without the element of intent. The star had no intention of harming mas reza at all, he only intended to save me from his abusive treatment" mama Farida defended and told me the truth. To put it bluntly, the middle-aged woman's heart ached and tightened under pressure by the story of her and her son's painful past. 

"The star must receive a proper reply, because of him I have to lose my only brother" said Mr. erwin.

"the stars are not wrong. At that time he was a minor and he did not understand what he was doing. This matter has also been resolved peacefully"

"But that's not enough!"cut mr. erwin.

"i want Bintang and Tika to get married as soon as possible if you don't want your favorite son to be in jail for the rest of his life" continued Mr. Erwin seriously with his threat. His head was about to break and his heart was getting sicker.

While from behind the wall, Rangga smiled satisfied with victory. 

"It turns out God loves me so much. I don't have to dirty my hand anymore to destroy the Star because it will self-destruct. Destroyed as ruined" Rangga's laughter in heart. 

"Om can be calm in nature. Rangga will never forget to repay all the kindness of Reza. Sooner or later, the Star will receive a proper reply because he , Moon died in vain and because of him too, om reza had to lose his life" Rangga recalled one by one the story of the star's past full of revenge.
