62. Farewell

"Novan is the one who is destined to save your world, but Arin is only a hindrance to his cause, he is just a child not yet ready to face the gods, in contrast to Novan ."

The words Protogonos really made Novan and Arin go silent. Now that Hypnos's fury could no longer be contained, black owls flew out from the direction of his back, circled the place and dropped dozens of black feathers on Protogonus, but then a strong light appeared and all the feathers disappeared like a shadow that disappeared because of the light.

"Please don't fight..." Arin was seen stretching out his hand and that was where the light came from. Arin prevented Hypnus from injuring Protogonus, asserting how he was in one camp.

"If indeed I am a burden to Brother Novan then I will follow the plan of Mr Protogonos" Arin's remarks made Novan completely shocked, with a look of disbelief he shouted.

A smile formed on Arin's face and tears dripped down her cheeks "Yes, I promise! brother too!" the boy's voice rang out and he hugged Novan in his arms, not realising that Novan was trying to cover his teary eyes. Novan does not know what makes him so emotional, even since he first met Arin, he does not know what makes him so fond of the boy.

Although for a while, Novan once thought that Arin used his power to take his sympathy, but the longer Novan knows himself and Arin. The greater the affection and the desire to protect the child, as if there was a bond between them, a bond far stronger than the soul, a bond of brotherhood stronger than the bond of blood.

"Haha the impersonator" Novan laughed blandly and then looked at Protogonos. "May I ask what will happen next?"

"As soon as you leave this library I will erase your memory of Arin, not everything but of this agreement and the figure of Arin. And then Arin will stay here for a while until the disaster that will hit you is completely over".

"Out there are some gods who can read human memories and minds, that's why Hypnos also erased your childhood memories, that way you won't remember important and dangerous things that can provoke the wrath of gods, especially memories related to the reason you hate gods. So in the future you will need the guidance of Hypnos to achieve your goal..." Protogonus's reply made silence arrive for a moment but then Novan again asked.

"My destination? Do you know what my real purpose is?"

"Take care of yourself, even if I don't see you again, you still have to take care of yourself"

Arin nodded and with teary eyes he waved his hand, releasing the departure of Novan which began to disappear into the darkness of the portal. He had to leave immediately, so Protogonus could close the gate again, preventing the gods from entering the library.

Novan smiled and then along with Hopeless he entered the portal.

As she begins to lose all her memories of Arin and the universe's library.
