Novel POV:
Hermes took Fantasos from me and he then took him. Trying to damage the object but the same bright light came out of the brooch and burned Hermes' hand, making him grimace in pain.
"What the fuck is this thing?!" He threw Fantasos and with me immediately caught him.
The form of Fantasos is now changed again and it becomes a white sword that I can use. "Why did you throw that brooch?!" Hemdall looked annoyed at Hermes and Hermes looked at me with the same gaze.
"You, I'll make you pay for all this" Hermes pulled out his wand and the battle between us was inevitable. He moved quickly because of his magic shoes, while I was cornered for fighting in a sunny place.
Shit I'm superior in the dark, if so..
Black butterflies shot out from the shadow of my feet and spread out in all directions. But a golden chain came crashing toward the butterfly "i will not let you create darkness in this place" Hemdall helped Hermes from behind with his golden chains adorned with thorns.
I got further cornered just as the green cards floated around me, making my vision very limited and finally the Golden Chain managed to drag my feet and knock me down. Hermes set his foot on my stomach.
"It's over now" a symbol of sacred power formed on the floor and slowly papers sprung up in the air, papers on which were written everything I knew.
"Nanaru, do your job. I can't read this kid's motives until it attacks us. But you certainly can" Hermes gave the order and Nanaru who appeared to be holding her green card then approached and started activating the information-seeking power on all the papers containing those memories. But just before he did it the papers were on fire and the clear sky turned dark.
"What's going on?!"
From the dark cloud I saw my figure again, but I was not the only one who saw it. A shadow of darkness came out from his feet that did not touch the floor and on his head a red halo was clearly visible. Both Hermes, Hemdall and Nanaru all felt the tremendous pressure that the figure had. His red eyes that glowed in the darkness looked at me and beyond Nanaru's estimation immediately pulled me away towards a portal, out of the upper world and leaving behind Hemdall and Hermes who were slowly devoured by the darkness.
"Damn it, now I understand what the old man said!" Nanaru shouted frantically as we were now on the train I used to ride with 'someone'.
"W-what really happened?"
"Hermes opened up your subconscious because he couldn't enter it so he forced it out."
"Wait it means that the other figures of myself are also carried out?"
"I don't have to explain anymore. Please speculate as you please"
"But how can-"
"In this world there are many strange objects that have tremendous power and Hermes has objects that can explore the contents of other people's minds and even show the subconscious of a person. It seems that those figures of you are visions that came out because of that thing" Nanaru explained as simply as possible.
Then it was just an illusion...
I don't know if I should be grateful or not...
The train continued to go and Hopeless's voice rang out from the entire carriage of the train "welcome back, glad to see you're fine. Sorry I can't see you guys for a while now, the train will stop right in the comfort dream world" the sound of the moving engine starts to creak and the train finally stops.
But windows that used to always display darkness or beautiful scenery now appear to display chaotic scenes. The door opened and when I stepped out Nanaru did not follow me. I looked up at him and he just stayed silent until finally the train door closed and the transportation device moved again. Although no words came out of his mouth I know, he looked so sad.
"No..."
I quickly lifted the ruins no matter how heavy and painful my hand was when I touched the rocks or sharp wood that covered the body of the figure "please! No!" I continued to lift every material and finally when I lifted the dirty cloth that covered the child's face, my face completely turned pale. Sadness and disappointment filled me when I saw Rian's face and his now stiff and lifeless body.
I hugged that cold body and without wanting my tears to drip along with the whispering sounds that kept echoing in my head.
They say I failed again...
The voice kept haunting me, seducing me to fall into the darkness that dwelled within myself. Everything felt so cold and gripping. But when my eyes caught the presence of the monster running towards me a pool of darkness formed under my feet and when the monster's feet stepped on it he then drowned into the shadows.
He thrashed in pain and slowly his body was consumed by my energy, making him part of my strength. I stared blankly all over the place as I continued to carry my sister's corpse, something that felt missing from me, but I didn't know what.
The more I walk the more corpses my friends see. The more I ate the monsters that ran towards me.
What was in front of my eyes was now just a sea of blood and I was standing alone on it. No friends or foes, all dead.
A roar sounded and I laid Rian's body to a safe place "wait here..." A dragon flew in the red sky and destroyed everything. He flew towards the palace where a woman with a heavy heart accepted the fate of the story that the gods had made for him.
"Give yourself up and the hero will save you, my daughter" a red rose plant ensnared her body and Vivian looked like a doll on display like bait. The dragon finally came and looked at him.
Despair, and suffering was clearly reflected in his eyes. Even so he still runs the 'role' that he gets. That is as a princess who will be locked up by the dragon and wait for the hero to save him.
Really Nourish.
What I saw really made me sick and upset. Anger somehow flared within me and as if dissatisfied with the sea of blood I saw now I jumped in front of Vivian and just as my feet stepped on the floor of the blood liquid came out of the dragon's neck and thousands of black butterflies began to ferociously gnaw at the dragon.
I realized I had lost control of myself.
But I don't know why it feels so good.
Vivian looked at me with eyes full of confusion and shock. He realized that my figure was now beginning to change, a circle of red light slowly formed above my head and my eyes glowed bright red like a demon. A circle of pools of darkness was still forming under my feet like a portal to eternal darkness.
"I can release you from their restraints"
The words came out of my mouth and I spread out my hand along with thousands of black butterflies flying in all directions, leaving behind the carcass of a dragon that now only leaves the bones. It was as if I was the angel of death who had come to take him into eternal darkness.
Fear and uncertainty were evident in his eyes but when my black butterfly made all the red rose vines wrapped around it disappear he then began to walk closer. "What should I give you for that?" He asked and his eyes gave off a trust.
"You have to remember, there's no turning back once you've taken my hand"
