PFC 10 - Forbidden Forest
The sound of the two swords touching echoed with the monstrous roar of a Demonic Beast.
The existence of the monstrous Demonic Beast Fei Chen ignored because before him there was the first human he met after coming out of the Weeping Mountain.
“Little boy?” The woman who was holding back Fei Chen's slash was suddenly shocked.
While Fei Chen noticed her hair, face, even her clothes did not escape her eyes, “So this is a girl? But still beautiful late mother.”
After hearing Fei Chen's words and the way he looked at himself, the woman moved quickly before letting go of Fei Chen's stomach-piercing kick.
Fei Chen bounced and was shocked at the same time. One thing that comes to his head now, ‘Women is very scary.’
Even the Sweet Cat also thought so, ‘Must be Chen could conquer the ridiculous agreement with the Mad Sword.’.
Never would Fei Chen and the Sweet Cat have thought that there was a woman who was fighting against a monstrous Demonic Beast. Yang Fei Chen originally thought that the woman was the one who controlled the Demon Beast, now made her change her mind after seeing the form of the Demon Beast before her.
“Woy, you, hmmm?” Fei Chen wanted to ask the woman who kicked her stomach, but her first experience of interacting with humans after coming out of the frozen Crying Mountain.
Sweet Cat laughed out loud looking at Fei Chen's demeanor, ‘I can't stop laughing!’
Fei Chen flushed his face and lowered his head.
“Hei, boy. What's your name and where are you from?” The woman Fei Chen wanted to talk to actually spoke to him, “Then why did you get to be in this Forbidden Forest?”
Fei Chen gulped. He had not expected this whole thing to talk to someone. For the size of a boy, Fei Chen realized that the woman before him was older than him.
“My name is Fei Chen. I'm just a kid who got lost in this forest for practicing martial arts.” Fei Chen replied smoothly and made her smile brightly.
‘Speak more politely, stupid! I can tell if this woman is eighteen. While you're ten years old, you should have more respect for a more mature person, Chen!’ The Sweet Cat's advice made Fei Chen bend his body.
“Sorry for your previous actions. Junior thought senior was the one controlling the Demon Beast, so junior attacked senior without a second thought.” Fei Chen seemed to feel guilty with his childish facial expression, even though Fei Chen did not feel guilty at all even he himself did not care.
‘This boy is weird, but I feel he's different from a kid his age. I think he's almost the same age as Lian.’ The girl watched Fei Chen while releasing a murderous aura at the Demon Beast.
“Junior Fei, you look so suspicious. But one thing I do know, you're a swordsman, right?” The girl said while stopping the movement of the Demon Beast using her body aura.
“Yes, senior. Junior is a swordsman.” Fei Chen replied briefly.
Fei Chen noticed the girl's fight with the monstrous-looking Demonic Beast. That short-lived battle made Fei Chen wonder because the girl looked so angry as she cut off the head of the Demon Beast, moreover, the slain Demon Beast had a monstrous form unlike an animal and looked a little like a human.
After the death of the body of the Demon Beast vanished without a trace. Of course it made Fei Chen frown.
“Any?” Fei Chen had only first seen a Demon Beast that did not have a Demon Jewel and after dying his body immediately vanished without a trace.
“Anu, senior-”
“Grandfather, student found boy who looks suspicious.”
Fei Chen listened to the two talk. Before long the old man introduced himself as Fang Huo and the eighteen-year-old girl was named Murong Liuyu. Both of them were from the Peach Valley which was a sect of white flow in the Yin Empire.
“Early Stage Star Swordsman and are in the Forbidden Forest. Boy, which sect are you from?” From his style of speech, Fei Chen could tell if this old geezer named Fang Huo had high knowledge.
“Junior is not from any sect. Junior is in this forest because he got lost.” Fei Chen saluted Fang Huo and put on an annoyed expression of having to speak formally.
“Hooh..” Fang Huo stroked his beard, then invited Fei Chen to leave the Forbidden Forest together.
On the way out of the Forbidden Forest, Fei Chen was more silent when asked about his past and preferred to listen to Fang Huo's story of the Beast Man.
Meanwhile Murong Liuyu did not care much about Fei Chen's presence. After nightfall, the three of them spent the night in the outer part of the Forbidden Forest, then continued their journey the next day.
The one Murong Liuyu originally did not care at all about Fei Chen's presence, it was now precisely made to be shocked when it saw the ten-year-old kid killing the horde of Emperor Stage Demon Beasts with completely unblinking eyes.
Even Fang Huo himself could tell if Fei Chen had a dark past. And of course the main factor that made Fei Chen so was the place where he grew and flourished. His main concern was that Fei Chen's fighting ability was on par with even Emperor Swordsman's King, but Fei Chen's ability was now at the Early Stage Star Swordsman.
‘Who is this kid? He did not want to tell his past at all. Every time I offend her past, I feel anger from her.’ Fang Huo stroked his beard and noticed Fei Chen who was stroking the body of the cat he had on his lap.
After feeling enough to travel with Fang Huo and Murong Liuyu, Fei Chen intended to directly rush towards the Ma Empire. But he did not know the path leading to the Ma Empire.
“Senior Fang..” Fei Chen explained that he intended to go to the Ma Empire because there was some business that he had to settle there.
Hearing that, Fang Huo thought that Fei Chen was from the Ma Empire.
“It looks like we're going to split up here. Actually I intend to raise you as your disciple, Chen.” Fang Huo smiled as he stroked his beard. While Murong Liuyu was shocked to hear that.
“Thank you senior, but at this time junior has business to settle. This issue relates to the late two junior parents.” After hearing Fei Chen's reply, Fang Huo intended to give Fei Chen a little help but still Fei Chen rejected him.
Until Fang Huo finally gave Fei Chen advice to go to Huafei City.

After that Fang Huo and Murong Liuyu led Fei Chen towards the nearest place to Huafei City.
The three of them parted ways after being close to Huafei City.
“Chener, after passing through this meadow, you will arrive at Huafei City.” Fang Huo explained, “I will return to the Peach Valley. Bring this, and don't forget to stop by the Peach Valley.”
“It...” Murong Liuyu had never been given any surprise by his grandfather's actions which looked completely intent on making Fei Chen his disciple.
“Thank you Senior Fang, one day junior will repay your kindness.”
After a short conversation, Fei Chen parted ways with Fang Huo and Murong Liuyu.
