PPFC 49 - Jia Li Charming
After confirming himself through to the last eight, Fei Chen returned to the inn with Tian Hu, Tian Zhou and Jia Li. The three ate the dishes they bought at the restaurant, after which Tian Zhou and Tian Hu chatted, while Fei Chen sat on the terrace of the inn with Jia Li.
Fei Chen held my Sweet Cat while staring at the moon, “Why my gut feeling is not good.” While muttering softly Fei Chen felt a sense of uneasiness.
Jia Li looked at Fei Chen, “Chenchen, are you going to meet your fiance?”
“Tactualty? Oh, her. No, I don't really care about it.” Fei Chen himself did not care about his match with Yue Lian.
According to Fei Chen all of this was due to Dao Tao's unilateral decision. Just now that he was talking about Yue Lian with Jia Li, suddenly Fei Chen and Jia Li were approached by someone wearing a mask.
“Chen, do you intend to break off your engagement with Lian?”
Fei Chen frowned, “This voice is no stranger..”.
When taking off his mask, Fei Chen realized that the person before him was Dao Tao.
Jia Li immediately saluted as well as Fei Chen.
“What is Grandpa Dao doing here?”
“Chen, have you met Lian?” Dao Tao asked. This old man disguised himself by wearing a mask and left his sect duty because he wanted to bring Fei Chen together with Yue Lian.
“I've met him.” Fei Chen replied with a face that did not care.
“How do you think of Lian?” Dao Tao asked again.
Fei Chen again replied, “He looks very fond of sword arts more than anyone.”
Dao Tao smiled, he did not realize that Tian Hu had accidentally heard his chat with Fei Chen.
“Senior... Dao?” Tian Hu was shocked as well as Tian Zhou due to the arrival of Dao Tao. The two saluted and came back shocked as the news of Fei Chen and Yue Lian's matchmaking turned out to be true.
“Tian Brothers. So you're escorting the three of them here?” Dao Tao knew Tian Hu's humility and had known the man for decades.
“Senior Dao, it feels impolite if we do not welcome you. Please login.” Tian Hu allowed Dao Tao to enter the inn they ordered.
Dao Tao shook his head, “My arrival here to ensure the meeting of Chen and Lian.”
Actually Dao Tao did not want Tian Hu to know if he had run away from the sect and went to the Dragon Valley because of his own selfishness. Behind his authority it turns out that Dao Tao wants to keep his arbitrary actions a secret.
“I'll go first.” Suddenly Dao Tao disappeared and dispelled the air of his existence.
‘What do you think, Sweet Cat? Grandpa Dao looks suspicious.’ Fei Chen asked the Sweet Cat through telepathy.
‘Do you want to find out?” The sweet cat asked.
‘No. After this I will go around the Dragon Valley.’ Fei Chen stood up and immediately headed towards the hot spring pool to dissipate his fatigue.
Tian Hu and Tian Zhou went back inside the inn, while Jia Li was still sitting on the terrace of the inn.
A short while later Fei Chen came back and had dressed neatly yet he did not find Jia Li on the terrace of the inn. Tian Zhou appeared to come and tell Fei Chen about Jia Li's departure with Wei Hongyun.
“So I saw one of the genius disciples of the Peach Valley named Wei Hongyun come here... In addition there are also two other people.”.
More or less Fei Chen understood Tian Zhou's explanation of Wei Hongyun's invitation to Jia Li. But not only Wei Hongyun who invited Jia Li turned out to be Song Han and Lin She also intended to invite Jia Li to enjoy the beauty of the Dragon Valley night at the same time.
“Brother Fei, you know that Sister Jia is famous for her beauty. I understand why so many men are attracted to her.” Tian Zhou held his chin and smiled looking at Fei Chen who looked completely unconcerned.
“Brother Fei, don't you care about this?” Tian Zhou asked.
Fei Chen raised his eyebrows, “Hah? What's up?”
“Eh, no.” Tian Zhou no longer spoke because he thought Fei Chen was jealous.
Though not as Tian Zhou thought, Fei Chen did not care at all if Jia Li had feelings for others and not himself.
‘Chen, will you just shut up your woman taken?’ Sweet Cats who look lazy now look very enthusiastic.
‘Human boy, you're worse than trash if you let your woman be touched by another man Quickly watch over your woman and don't let anything untoward happen.’ Mad Sword responded to Sweet Cat's remark in agreement.
‘My woman, huh? What are you guys talking about, actually? And why do you look more enthusiastic than Mad Sword, Sweet Cat?’ Fei Chen looked uneasy because this time the Sweet Cat and the Mad Sword looked very enthusiastic about his relationship with Jia Li.
Finally Fei Chen decided to keep an eye on her, instead of finding Jia Li who was leaving instead Fei Chen found something surprising.
“Who sent you here? There shouldn't be any Broad Man like you here!”
Fei Chen raised his eyebrows knowing the figure of the owner of the voice, “Isn't he... Princess Yin?”
