Today Lucas's schedule was to attend a police call for a report check conducted by Adit.
With the lawyer Lucas came to the police station. Lucas had to answer many of the questions given by the officers. Lucas answered carefully. Sometimes his lawyers help explain to the police what Lucas meant.
“Why have you been cursing at a child who hits your child when you don't know the chronology yet? To not complicate the record I just say the name of your child and the name of the child who hit your child so as not to confuse our conversation,” said the police.
“Why when Ghibran enters with his parents you immediately berated Ghibran. You blame the Ghibran for hitting Charles without you asking first the chronological events. You've heard Ghibran spell out the chronology but you only believe what your son Charles said you don't give a chance to crosscheck. What is your motivation to do such a thing?” ask police.
“Whoever would a parent be angry to see his battered son beaten by his friend. I am like that too. I was angry to see Charles' blue-blue face being hit by a Ghibran and my son's version of him, he didn't do anything suddenly Ghibran came to play. That's my reason why I'm so mad at Ghibran.”
“Are you not a very big company leader? You should crosscheck your child first. But you don't do that as if your child is the Right One. How do you lead hundreds maybe even thousands of your employees, if for a small household only you can not resist your emotions?”
“Once again I say, all parents will surely be angry to see their child battered by someone else. So do I as a parent, because I have love as a parent.”
“If the officer is different. I can see from any side because I am not emotionally involved with my employees.”
“Make you, employees apparently have no meaning yes, because there is no love or sense of having employees from your side. Though without your employees is nothing.” Cecar cops.
“If inside the company, in fact you are a parent and the employee is your child. So there should be love,” said police urging a statement from Lucas.
Lucas was silent and could not answer. He was deliberately framed with his own words.
“OK we stop the subject earlier. Now talk to the facts as you look at the CCTV footage of the scene. When your child tries to kiss the lips of a 5-year-old. What do you feel? Why does he do that, what because he always sees you and your wife or he sees movies that are not worth seeing. Because to our knowledge your child is too free to hold the phone unsupervised.”
“My wife and I certainly didn't do that in front of my son,” rebut Lucas quickly.
“I also do not know where he got that knowledge from, I am of course shocked to see him perform such an action.”
“Just the shock you feel? You're not ashamed that you've been berating the wrong people? You don't feel wrong for doing unpleasant deeds to a 10-year-old?” police fawl. Lucas was further cornered because he said he was just surprised.
“We are looking for information about your wife's role in your child's education. Of all your former maids who have come out they mention since the child was born your wife is not at all willing to take care of him. All are left to baby sitters and maids only. We deliberately do not ask employees who are still working at your place because if employees who can still work at your place of course you can press unlike employees who have come out they are not afraid to answer honestly because there is no connection with you now.”
This question Lucas also could not answer because it was the fact that Irene never held Charles. Ever since the child was born, the child was allowed to grow up exactly like a wildflower by the roadside no one noticed.
