CHAPTER 100 ~ Answer ~

Axel regretted Athena's behavior telling their wedding plans so casually. Axel took such a thing to be discussed very seriously. Actually it was because of Axel's excessive fear of the answer from the request for blessing.

Axel was so afraid of being rejected by the parents that it made the man never talk. He was busy preparing his heart. This made Athena impatient and immediately asked for the blessing of her parents.

Seeing Axel who panicked to see the attitude of Athena was actually used by Mr. Dani and Ms. Anna to prank their daughter's boyfriend. Mr. Dani accused him of being sassy, slow and unappreciative. Hearing that unconsciously, the man who was suddenly quiet was nyerocos incessantly.

"Sorry Pa, sorry Ma, it's my fault. Actually, I wanted to say it from now on. Want to ask the blessing of Mama and Papa to marry Athena but suddenly my courage is lost. The words I had prepared from earlier suddenly disappeared. I thought I had amnesia, but all my thesis presentation materials still remember. It feels more difficult to talk in front of Mama and Papa than in front of the lecturer," explained Axel with a voice that is getting smaller and smaller.

Mr. Dani laughed so too, Miss. Anna's. Axel lost his nerve, so afraid of failing to propose to Athena. Mrs. Anna again pranks Axel.

"Why did your courage go away? Aren't you sure you love Athena?" ask Anna at last.

"No Ma, I'm absolutely sure of Athena's love. I would give my life for Athena. I would do anything for Athena's happiness. I can't live without Athena. I want to have Athena. I will love Athena for the rest of my life. I will also take care of it with all my body. Therefore Ma, Pa please allow me to marry Athena," Axel said with just a single breath.

Mr. Dani laughed at Axel who was so fluent when accused of not being sure to love Athena. Without thinking about the fear of being rejected or judged impolite. Axel revealed his deepest heart about his earnestness towards Athena.

Athena and Ms. Anna held back a laugh. Athena realizes both her parents are pranking Axel. The girl was very understanding, both her parents were very concerned about the happiness of her daughter. Moreover, there was no reason for them to reject her lover.

Axel is a perfect man. Perfect in showing his love. Many times he managed to keep his honor. Keeping their love sacred until finally ventured to propose to Athena.

However, instead of immediately giving an answer, Mr. Dani actually pranks Axel by delaying giving an answer. Mr. Dani left the dining room. Axel can't wait for Mr. Dani. With panic mounting, the man ventured to reveal his heart and fear.

"I love Athena. I love Athena. I always wanted to be with him. Every moment, every second but .. when I was with Athena, I was thinking things through. I was afraid that I might one day lose control. I'm afraid I can't take care of her anymore. For that Pa, please give me an answer immediately," said Axel to stand staring at Mr. Dani.

From Axel's words implied fear, therefore Axel pleaded. Fear made his words seem threatening. Mr. Dani smiled hearing Axel's words.

"W-what? Pardon you? What does Papa mean?" ask Axel.

"Is your meal done?" dani's question was answered quickly by Axel.

"Come to the middle room. I'll give you an answer right now" Dani said, stepping into the living room.

Since then, Mr. Dani had wanted to invite them to talk in the middle room to listen intently to the intentions of the two lovebirds. Axel thinks Mr. Dani wants to buy time to give an answer. It makes the man impatient.

Athena slipped her hand into Axel's. Holding the still cold hand towards the middle room. But they were astonished, Mr. Dani did not sit down but still stood in the middle of the room.

Axel looked at me very sharply. Seeing that Axel's heart immediately thumped. Remembering his threatening remarks earlier, Axel was afraid of Mr. Dani's gonna be pissed. Seen Mr. Dani raised her hand pointing towards Axel.

"Review you! If you dare to make my daughter cry, I will make a calculation with you!" dani said with a sharp eye.

Axel trembled, not expecting a threat from Mr. Dani. With teary eyes, the man almost sat on his knees if Mr. Dani didn't hug him right away.

"We bless your marriage" Dani said, patting the almost desperate man on the back.

Axel riveted. Like not believing what he heard. Even when Mr. Dani let go of his embrace Axel was still not aware of what was happening. Athena immediately resuscitated Axel and asked him to thank her.
